GamerThumbTV Probably anything involving HUNK. Though I just love all of this storyline. All the narratives and people interwoven to create one tragic tale of a city gone to hell.

Nicholai Ginovaef, my favorite of the entire series, hoping he makes it again like he did in the original. The guy was legendary, single handedly took out all his other Supervisors, faced BOWs, the heroes and even Umbrella itself and came out on top, without needing a dues ex machina virus like Wesker. He's the only human antagonist in the series to actually escape and profit. Now he's sitting on a beach somewhere earning 20%. Probably even sold off his gathered intel to the Black market when Umbrella fell.

@@kendonl.taylor5111 well ORC is considered non canon according to Capcom so i wasn't sure if it counted(though some of it certainly should because Nicholai was epic in that game, when he snipes the Helicopter out of the air then detonates the C4 in the hospital and just walks away as it explodes is beyond awesome.(the security video fo him betraying his squad was great too)
i like how Tyrell's role in Remake....at least he died as an Hero rather than a Greedy Supervisor

Raccoon City wasn't one of the most tragic events in Resident Evil... it was THE MOST tragic event of the Resident Evil series as it is always mentioned in later games.
Terragrigia, Sheena Island, and China technically had their own Raccoon City style events too.
@@GamerThumbTV but always compared, everywhere else had better survival rates where are only a handful lived to tell Raccoon City.
@@user6371 UBCS was formed specifically for expendable soldierd so Umbrella could look like they're trying to help during a crises they caused, the USS are the teams they sent out at the same time to cover up their involvement eliminating any loose ends and witnesses in the process, ensuring the world remains in the dark.
But It does have a nice Ring Too It
Raccoon wasn't the most tragic, it was the one we were thrown into first. First place to show our characters how devastating the T virus could be, let alone Umbrella. Bc correct me if I'm wrong but everyone that you can play as in Raccoon city all fought T virus infected individuals and all of them also found some sort of secret umbrella test facility. It was basically the city scenario of a zombie apocalypse, pushing normal people into an abnormal position

I have the utmost respect for Mikhail Viktor, not knowing that he was disposable by Umbrella, loss of his men, and being severely injured, he still fought back, he even told Jill to get out of the cable car when Nemesis attacked him, knowing he couldn't kill it, he bravely sacrificed his life saying "You lose" and throwing Nemesis off the cable car so Carlos and Jill could escape.Thank you for giving respect to the man who died a hero ✊
I love that you included Outbreak's story in this as well Its a shame so many people dont really know about that game or have never played it. The online makes it so much better im happy someone runs custom servers now.
And also the fact that Outbreak is completely canon within the universe.

Valerie was interning at umbrella but got taken when a coworker got amnesia and she started investigating it.
I really prefer the design/uniforms of the classic UBCS soldiers, especially that cool emblem.
RE3 Remake just makes them look like generic Modern Warfare soldiers. Not even the classic pre order bonus costume pack gives them the Og uniforms.

And thus began the Raccoon city trials, that led to Umbrella's ultimate downfall. Unfortunately, there legacy would live on to this day. Will the days of B.O.Ws ever end? Only time will tell, but there are many out there, men and women, who continue to fight the nightmares that are unleashed.

Rebecca reported his death. On paper the world thinks he died in Zero. And Umbrella wouldn't really care about him. He was kind of a nobody that ended up helping STARS

Dude dude dude what can say dame, I mean dame good I just finished watching the entire Resident Evil Timeline and I mean everything this was obviously last part but all I can say thanks I always loved Resident Evil but found it hard to keep track of the story until I came across your Chanel thanks really thanks I know have clear picture of the whole timeline congrats of all the hard work you put in let’s see Resident Evil 8.

I feel like the biggest bit of the story/lore is the home life of the characters
Such as events that shaped them growing up, such as Sherry’s childhood and how it effected her growing up to events there and after
How Chris kinda got a obsession with Umbrella and then gave up and was brought back
Marcus’s(?) obsession with the virus eventually going to straight up leeches causing his previous failings to hit him in the back along with his research being stolen (albeit I have issue with it being Birkin who steals it) and the rivalry between Birkin and Alexia fueling Birkin’s decisions and Linda are up his life, while Alexia’s obsession didn’t eat it up so publicly as she was frozen and basically severed herself from her brother who... has a his own experiences
Spencer’s obsession with immortality and Wesker’s obsession with evolution and fighting leading to Spencer kinda giving up in his final hours and Wesker’s vision of immortality departing from the two
Basically Spencer wanting a basic take this, don’t die, and Wesker’s being ‘only the fit should survive’
This basically leaves resident evil 4’s characters completely blank aside from basically the last few years for the game.
The same seems to apply to resident evil 5’s Irving.
Resident evil 6 just seems very vague.
I think this is would be a great example of making the characters human and possibly giving a slight pattern to the character’s life and overall would separate form the in-game stuff a lot since it’s largely only showing you a few hours, days or maybe a week depending on game, even so only a few specific events or a generalization of what effected the characters the most would likely be brought up, which may also bring up aspects the characters neglect in their lifes as a obsession, duty, or anything else they committed to soaks up time and resources form everything else, such as Chris seemingly growing more distant from all the other characters as time goes on and how Jake never got closure to his story and that kinda being his whole deal in RE6 which doesn’t get much light to it.
Once again, absolutely awesome video, there can never be too many Raccoon city videos.

Definitely a huge failure and missed opportunity for the RE3 remake and one of the many reasons why RE3 Remake failed as a remake.

That would be really really really interesting if someone in Milsim made a raccoon city to mirror this situation with 10-15 different teams saving play civilians and finding other stuff but onna more complicated level than makin it real easy, one day maybe

We need another Raccoon City, free roam survival horror. No markers you just have to find a way out of the city while also trying to eat drink sleep and fight. Basically outbreak but free roam and more immersive/realistic

Yea unfortunately Capcom barely elaborated on them but I'll likely do some sort of video on them in the future. Would've loved to see them pop up again in another game
@@GamerThumbTV yeah but sadly there in a none cannon world, probably why we will never hear from them again, one of the few games id like to see remastered with better gun conrtols so the bullets are not so random, i love youre timelime vids because you fit them into the cannon or well my head cannon.
I don't know in RE3 original the Murphy in the cinematic is different from the character sprite in the game, the sprite Murphy is wearing an OD green benny cap with a T-shirt, where the one in the Cinematic is wearing a black benny cap with OD green Jacket not a T-shirt, that and he gets mobbed and cornered by a lot of zombies probably more still behind them at the end of the cinematic, are we sure it's the same guy?
I feel like Nikolai didn't die at the end of Re3 Remake, he is probably far too cunning to not have a Plan B, like dude seriously was able to "Induce Nemesis and other BOWs to fight Jill and other combatants like cops and UBCS soldiers" in a zombie and BOW infested city while he collected combat data, a guy capable of pulling that off and surviving would mostly have multiple extraction plans.
He survives the classic universe, but in the remake he was left with minutes on the clock. I think he played his game too risky and he exploded with the city

You should re-do the timeline, or atleast the Raccoon City part of it with all the stuff the Remake of 2 and 3 did, would be cool to see you fit that it.
I would wait until an RE8 or something references an remake exclusive event after all stuff like the Mega Man X remake don’t fit with the original timeline.
Something I been thinking about recently, I know Resident Evil 3 happens 1 day before Resident Evil 2, but I find it odd that in RE2 there is no mention of the UBCS at all in the whole game, I just think it's odd that's all 🤔
Basically that game was made before RE3, so Capcom didn't think of the UBCS yet lol. That's the real story. In game story, maybe they were in another part of the city?

I dont know why but I started to like Nicolay, he is like hunk, also rival of hunk, so let's hope remake didn't rewrite his story and he won't die there.
P.S. it's good that the story with cameron and that virus which can infect any organisms is non cannon cuz its just in my opinion stupid, cuz here the science splits in supernatural and thats why nobody continued that story. Just my opinion though.

To get the Murphy+Carlos cutscene in RE3, I think visit the Gas Station first and it should be Nicholai. It has to do with the order you visit the Gas Station and Umbrella Office after the Trolley parts fetchquest starts.

Why isn't anyone talking about the city's buildings and scale that are way too big for just 100,000 people? I mean, by looking at it, PART OF IT that we see in R3make, this is like a 5-6 MILLIONS type of city!
that's because when the game first game out Raccoon City was a small midwestern town. After the movies and Operation Raccon City it was changed into huge metropolis.

Technically in canon, they all survived. Alyssa Ashcroft (the reporter) even has a news article she writes in Dulvey, Louisiana that you can find in RE7.
If its canon i think they were survive the first wave of the outbreak if you see the ending of RE outbreak file 1 you can see there are still a group of military entering the city and got quarantine of its access to the city, if you saw Jill in RE3 she's got busy running away from nemesis also the state of the city was out of control, the UBCS were wipe out etc, mean while Claire and Leon were the last one who came to Raccoon City that were already infested, they got lucky to be in RPD though, although the umbrella sent some of Tyrant there to eliminate the remaining survivors,

Outbreak Aka two PS2 games that were Hella fun and the first game in the series that introduced coop multi-player.

Just to point out resident evil 2 and 3 is about the G-virus not the T-Virus the T-Virus was in the first game
Jack O'neill the only one infected with the G-virus is William Birkin. All the zombies, lickers, hunters etc... are infected with T-virus.
Literally most of the creatures you face are T-Virus creations in 2 and 3. The green T-Virus leaked and the rats spread it. Birkin ingested the purple G Virus.

I loved RE3 Remake but honestly found Resistance kinda boring. Mercenaries remade would've been a much better choice in my opinion.
The Mercenaries are by far my favorite set of characters in RE. People talk about the bad things of RE3R, but one of the very good aspects of the game is the better development of the cast. Mikhail being shown as a very competent leader, even knowing Jill record as a STARS member, Nicholai is even a better antagonist than Wesker for me, he's such an asshole that you can only love to hate the guy and Carlos is my favorite male character, he got such a good chemistry with Jill and I was very happy to see that they even played more with the obvious romantic relationship that Jill and Carlos have in RE3, I would really like to see Capcom developing their romance so we can finally have so proper character development and arc in the franchise xD
Side note: The ending of that CGI movie of the UBCS is one of the most bizarre and fucked up endings I have ever seen in a video game related material, I absolutely love it
