    120hz is awesome no matter what resolution its on. It pretty much guarrantes there will never be no lag in games. However i prefer 4k 60hz over 1080p 120hz simply because there needs to be a good balance of resolution and frames in order to get the best viewing quality and 120hz is over qualified for 1080p resolution

    Whether on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, or even my phone, I mostly prefer 120 Hz lately. 120 Hz displays tend to be so much more crisp and smooth, with greatly reduced latency. Combined with VRR(especially G-Sync), you get the higher frame rate along with no screen tearing whatsoever. Nvidia G-Sync can easily be forced over Freesync, and if you have a high end graphics card like an RTX 3080 Ti(don't hate me), it's glorious.

    for me, it feels like optimisation on the ps5 and xbsx consoles are just way better. you get 120 fps without every really noticing a dip in the fps. on PC however, the optimalisation is a big mess and i notice micro stutters more often than not. i would deff go with the console version on performance mode

    • @chrichtonsworld1
      @chrichtonsworld1 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are mistaken. Consoles aren't better optimised. But significant options and settings have been reduced or removed. They can and should use standardized settings equal to that of the consoles for those who would want to but still give you the option to tweak. And to be honest, it doesn't take that much time to tweak. Especially for people who have low and mid end pc's this is a good thing since that could sustain their systems for a longer times.
      Also a lot of you need to get out of the mindset that 4k gaming with all the bells and whistles still comes with caviats. In my opinion it's not even worth it. Sometines adding extra textures in FULL HD gives you stunning visuals plus you keep to retain the maximum FPS your system and monitor can handle.
      These days developers don't put in the time to optimize games for all the platforms their games are released on. And in large part it's the fault of the consumers. Especially the ones who pre-order. Just stop doing that. These publishers and devs need to be forced to do better.

      If you want 24inch then 1080p 144hz(this is the one I think it’s the best for 120fps) and the single player games like horizon will still look good because it a small monitor
      If you want 27inch get a 1440p 144hz but ps5 doesn’t support 1440p so if you want 120fps you have to go to 1080p. you can use downscale to take 4K to 1440p and get 1440p 60hz. I didn’t explain this part that good so watch a video about 1440p monitor for ps5.

      Those ips and va panel monitors are trash. Even the 1ms ones. Go invest in a good tn panel monitor.

      Buy the asus tuf 165 hz gaming monitor with 1 ms response rate.
      4k monitors are gimmick and useless because you cannot experience 4k on a small screen. Its a common point. In order to experience true 4k you need 50-60 inch screen.
      Get a 2k Asus Tuf 165 hz 27 inch. Best 10/10 also price is affordable

      These guys recommendimg monitors that leave ghosting images while you move and screen tearing when you move too fast. They're only 1ms if you overclock them in the settings and it makes the problems even more obvious.

    Yeah you have to remember this is essentially a medium build pc. These consoles can not game at 120 fps with 4K Ultra settings on a game.

      I notice a huge difference moving from 30fps to 60fps.
      Is there that much of a difference between 60fps and 120fps?

    • @cemsengul16
      @cemsengul16 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@iseerashonal821 Everybody is different but to my eyes the leap does not feel significant. I think the reason for this is that you need a powerful computer with G-Sync to actually play at a locked 120-240 fps to feel the smoothness. You see if there are dips where you fall below 100 fps occasionally it does not feel so smooth.

      I don't care about 120hz. I have two 1440p monitors one 144hz and one 165hz. 120hz is a down grade.
