As a texans fan that lives in texas I have to deal with cowboys fans on a daily basis while I dont hate the fans i still loathe the team I look forward every time they loose the playoffs every year.
The cowboys-Texans rivalry is mostly just a fan rivalry between the fan bases in Texas other than that the Houston Texans are incredibly irrelevant lol
With a solid nucleus of CJ Stroud and Will Anderson as well as DeMeco Ryans at the helm, Texans have a better chance to reach a conference championship game, let alone a Super Bowl before the Cowboys in the near future unless Jerruh flatlines.

As a 49ers fan I dont hate the Cowboys team itself I really like some of their players, but its pretty much only the fans that I hate. I know not all of them are bad, but I've seen videos of them fighting other teams fans and I think they even threw a Raiders fan off one of the upper decks of the stadium last season.

But because they are the Dallas Cowboys a show has to be put on. It doesn't matter if they finished 8-9, 13-4 or 3-14 the previous year. They have to be talked about as a Super Bowl contender every year. Every media show has to have a daily Cowboys segment even if there is nothing note worthy happening. They get prime TV spots not based on the play on the field but because of the star on the helmet. Tony Romo and Dak Prescott are the embodiment of average. And yet they were talked about along side the elite QBs of their day. Not because they compare at all to the QB elite, but because the league desperately wants the Cowboys to have an elite QB to market. It's a mind game they try to play on you. To hype this team up into something its not, to try to relive the glory days. And their fans eat it up. "Its our year" every year is your year, it's been your year for 30 years now. But we know its not. Youll beat up on the bottom feeders of the league and then lose in the playoffs to a real team by the Divisional round. Like you do every year. Im infinitely more interested in the Jacksonville Jaguars who showed some really interesting growth after last year. Im infinitely more interested in the Los Angeles Chargers, who are insanely entertaining to watch, whether it's because they won with high end talent, or lose because of a spectacular choke. The fans went up to the camera stating the reasons why they hate the '"Boys and the narrator and others talked about it. The Cowboys were hated in the 1990s harshly too. This isn't anything new it's just ESPN and Fox are covering the Cowboys a lot more now for whatever reason. But the hate has been passed on every generation.

Yea I grew up 22 years in small town upstate NY, Adirondacks. Moved to Nashville in 2020 and I’m shocked whenever I see a cowboys fan here, especially if they’re from here.
I'm also from East Tennessee born and raised (currently in Memphis in Dental School) I graduated from UT and I love the Vols, Cowboys and I also like the Titans too in that order but I have to disagree hun, there are quite a few Cowboys fans here as well, just like every other team.

The fact that they were so good before the 21st century has everyone praying on their downfall as well. Also their fans don’t help either lol
