Philip is such an accurate representation of what a CEO is like. They present themselves as friendly visionaries blah blah. All the crap you see but behind the scenes, there basically sociopaths. Philip likely doesn’t feel remotely anything about firing Tyrell. Whether he did it or not this is simply bad publicity for him and anyone who isn’t an asset he will dump without a second thought. Even showing up to do it personally is just a formality to give the impression that he cares ( he doesn’t). CEOs are exactly like his because you need to be this detached to run a giant company
oh, and dont forget that CEO's are also big children who throw a tantrum when sth doesn't go their way, etc. It's a miracle companies even function with such CEOs .... right?

I wonder if firing Tyrell was his call as claimed, or something he was instructed to do against his own instincts.
The only people that can order around price would probably be the other members of the deus group and i dou t any of them care about tyrell at this point. Seems more likely that Price prolly feels that something is off about tyrell since he never really seems to like him all that much and now hearing the rumors just wants to get rid of him to avoid unnecessary scandal

I knew right away that the actor playing Phillip Price, Michael Cristofer, is a primarily theatre guy. He has such magnetism and his mannerisms are just so on point, he kinda reminds me of some teachers I've had in a good way
I love the fact that no matter how valuable a person thinks they are to a company, we are all despensiable. Granted, that tyrell did what he did. But there are those people who "kill themselves" for a company and have been let go for a lot less. This show is/was absoulty amazing!

When I first watched this series, I never even realised Tyrell and Johanna speak two different languages. Now, I’m married to a Swedish man and can understand 50% of their conversations. (You can probably guess which half.) Feels so weird.

These high executives remind of something ah yes they act like the ancient Greek Gods, it wasnt a happy time on Mount Olympus a lot of mistakes and blind ego runs the game, so whats the relevance, they start to act like gods, and they created a world for the workers of the company and control even more from the consumers
Huh, sounds like she's speaking a fairly typical version of danish, she sounds like she's from somehwere in the copenhagen area. I can understand why it'd be hard to understand since she's speaking really softly, but her accent is very "basic" danish.
I mean I liked the level of creepiness that Tyrell and his wife storyline added to the season one but they literally had no idea on how to write any kinda scenario that could work with them by the end of the story and that was kinda disappointing

I disagree. I see where you’re coming from, but to me, Tyrell and Joanna serve as dark omens for Elliot. They both showcase what happens when one allows an obsession to consume them, something that almost happens to Elliot. In other words, the ends of their stories are warnings for what Elliot’s fate could be if he allowed his obsession to consume and define him.
I think I know the problem why the clips aren't as popular. Advice to the uploader: try to get a single snippet from a show: for example I think the clip could have ended with the threat to tirrel from his wife. And make the snippet names more descriptive. For example House M.D does this very successfully

That combined with her mumbling prolly makes her very hard to understand to a non-dane
