    What am I missing at 2:07? The graphic says Ace high has 14% equity at the turn, but I cannot think of a single card on the river that will beat trip Kings. No flushes, no straights, A/8 off is already dead, no?

      it is a mistake. I think who ever entered the cards into the computer entered the A of spades as the A of clubs, which would give him a chance to win if he pulls a flush on the river/last card. But since it ISN"T the Ace of clubs, he really has 0% chance to win as you, and I know.

      Poker is a game of skill, strategy, and psychological prowess, where players constantly strive for excellence and dominance at the tables.Shaun Deeb and Phil Ivey. While both players have left indelible marks on the game, this argues that Shaun Deeb stands out as the superior player compared to Phil Ivey. By examining various aspects of their poker careers, including skill, adaptability, consistency, and achievements, we can elucidate why Deeb's prowess surpasses that of Ivey's.
      Shaun Deeb's proficiency in various forms of poker, including online, live tournaments, and cash games, showcases his adaptability and versatility. Deeb has consistently demonstrated his ability to navigate through different formats and variations of the game, adapting his strategies to suit the specific nuances of each variant. His deep understanding of game theory and mathematical concepts has allowed him to make precise decisions even in the most complex situations.
      On the other hand, while Phil Ivey is undoubtedly a formidable opponent, his dominance has primarily been in live cash games and tournaments. Despite his remarkable success in these domains, Ivey's limited exposure to online poker and other formats suggests a narrower range of skills compared to Deeb. Deeb's prowess across multiple platforms and game types gives him a more comprehensive skill set, making him a more well-rounded player overall.
      One of the hallmarks of a great poker player is consistency over time. Shaun Deeb's track record speaks volumes about his consistency and longevity in the game. With numerous online and live tournament victories spanning over a decade, Deeb has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with, maintaining a high level of performance year after year.
      While Phil Ivey has undoubtedly achieved legendary status in the poker world, his recent years have been marked by a relative decline in tournament results and public appearances. While this could be attributed to various factors such as personal choices or shifting priorities, it underscores Deeb's consistency and continued relevance in the ever-evolving landscape of professional poker.
      When comparing the achievements of Shaun Deeb and Phil Ivey, it becomes evident that Deeb's list of accolades is not only extensive but also more diverse. Deeb boasts multiple World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) titles, and other prestigious victories across different formats and platforms. His ability to excel in both online and live settings further solidifies his status as one of the most accomplished players of his generation.
      While Phil Ivey's resume includes an impressive collection of WSOP bracelets and high-stakes cash game victories, his dominance has been more concentrated in specific areas of the game. Moreover, Ivey's legal battles and prolonged absences from the poker scene have somewhat overshadowed his past achievements, whereas Deeb continues to actively compete and add to his already illustrious record.
      In conclusion, while both Shaun Deeb and Phil Ivey are undeniably exceptional poker players who have made significant contributions to the game, a comparative analysis reveals that Deeb holds the edge in several key aspects. His versatility, consistency, and extensive list of achievements set him apart as a more well-rounded and formidable player compared to Ivey. As the landscape of poker continues to evolve, Shaun Deeb's continued success and adaptability ensure his place among the pantheon of poker greats.

    • @calcul8ions
      @calcul8ions 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      Shortdeck, or sometimes called 6+ NLH is a game where the cards 2-5 are removed from the deck. Hence, the term, 6+. Because the deck is composed of 6789TJQKA. Flushes do beat full houses on this type because the odds of getting flushes with 4 cards from each suit removed is lower compared to getting full houses.
