The powdered clear will often leave cloudy haze or blobs when put on thick like that. I almost ruined a piece I was repairing for a customer who’d broken the order I just delivered her. I was repairing it and thought I was doing the right thing by putting clear powder in and over the cracks to better heal them up with full fuse repair firing. Ended up with cloudy streaks. Found out from a much more experienced expert (the BE resource center owner at the time), that the individual grains of powder trap bubbles. So it’s like you’ve added millions upon millions of bubbles. I fired mine a couple more times very hot, and never did get those lines fully fused in. They suggested using clear fine instead of powder to avoid the issue. Maybe try clear fine to add more volume to get your movement.
Since the Christmas tree mold is kicking my butt, I should invest in some clear and some green paint. It would be a lot cheaper than keep wasting all kinds of sheet Glass.
I love the demonstration of the various kinds of creating! You don't know how it will come together until you try! Thanks! Love it!
Thanks! Very true! Some of my techniques I have used before but some are trial and error 😆
Thank you so much for these part sheet videos. I'm learning so many new and cool techniques!
Glad to hear that! Thank you!

I can relate! Give it a try, it's fun to make it your own.
You know what... use the glass from the botched tree and try to salvage what you can by fusing it flat 😁
I did flatten them and redoing them, not pretty or going to be given away, but I will win at some point.
Then everything is really hand made by making your own custom glass.
Very true!
