- Have a pile of scrap you're not sure how to organize or store? Here's how I store and organize my scrap glass!
Since it's way past time I redo and reorganize my scrap I thought I would take this opportunity to show you how I like to keep my scraps and talk about how other fusers do it too!
I hope this helps give you some ideas on how you can organize your studio,
Happy Fusing!

Those tiny clear scraps are great for putting in The vitrograph with a little bit of color scraps. Or doing a screenmelt.
That's a wonderful idea for scraps!
I keep the “exact” colors together. Large bins, medium bins and small pieces go in a smaller container (like a jewelry or bead sorter).
Looks great Lisa!
I don’t have spare glass nor do I work with glass but this is a very good video and it had me interested 😂
I have a multi Rainbow coloured plastic drawer set and store small pieces in them. They hold little trays with tiny scrap as well.
I use the same bins for my stained glass scraps.
Thank you for sharing! Would you have the name of those bins? Would love to buy some
I just looked up storage bins on amazon and found these :)
Next put them in rainbow order and it will be perfect.
what project can be done with the glass scraps? can you recommend anything? I have lots of pieces and do not know what to do with them, thank you
the possibilities are endless! You can use scrap glass to create anything you want :)
Where did you get your bins? Gail
Amazon!
Do you use only 1 COE?
no, i use both coe 90 and 96 but my scrap is 96
Milk crates for the bigger pieces.
What do you do if you don't know the COE?
I use it in SG projects or, if I am sure its fusible but not certain on 96 vs 90, a small project with only that glass. After losing track twice, I got much better at organizing by COE
I dont like to keep buying new plastic, so I buy goodwill containers
