Let me know any other video ideas concepts you all want me to put together or study!!! Thanks for all the support the more feedback the more I'll be able to put together quality content that people want to see.
Shaun Fitt please do more lomachenko heavy bag technique analysis/breakdowns from his punching technique to foot positioning to combinations and so on. Thanks.
Cee Bee will do was actually thinking of those ideas today, will have to put some things together and add them to the channel soon. I appreciate the ideas
He really is defining new generation boxers. He’s a right handed but fights in a southpaw stance, which allows him to pivot outside his opponents. His father changed boxing training for the better, implementing hand to eye coordination exercises like the reflex ball and juggling. I am following a lot of Papachenkos training methods and work and so far they have been working great! I only wish he’d train other fighters again, I would definitely fly down to Ukraine to see what goes on inside his mind.
Name one thing you notice about Lomas technique or style in these videos that someone else might not notice, I'll go first, Loma's straight punches go out in a straight line and back in to the starting point he doesn't drop his elbows when he throws them which keeps him protected.
He throws everything from the shoulder. Minimal telegraph and sharp as a knife. Punches go from A to B as you said. Never off balance. Doesn’t extend the arm/elbow prematurely allowing for force generated to go solidly into his target through the shoulder. People say he doesn’t hit hard, I disagree. While he’s not a “power puncher” that doesn’t mean he doesn’t hit hard so don’t get the two confused, he definitely hits hard. His technique is too clean for him to not hit hard. His knockout ratio is poor because of his style. Volume puncher rarely throws his whole body into shots; keeps high pressure on opponent through volume punching at around 60-80% power which allows him to keep the pace so high throughout the fight. As I mentioned doesn’t throw his whole body into shots as he is too defensively responsible. If he did he would have a lot more knockouts. Although obviously not a born puncher like wilder his technique is so crisp and perfected that he still has considerable power. People like wilder don’t need technique to knock someone out as he is a born puncher; it’s just natural. Whereas a created puncher would be the likes of kovalev. Not gifted with insane genetics or natural god given punching power but cultivated it through exceptional balance and technique which allows for speed, accuracy and of course the power he is known for. That technique is thanks to the amazing Russian programme he came up in which is similar to all slavic boxing systems including Ukraine. Which is why Loma punches hard. Always balanced, always efficient, always relaxed, never over compensates, solid foundations, amazing footwork, blistering hand speed, the list goes on. A near perfect fighter all in all.
Cee Bee wow that a great breakdown of what he brings to the table definitely opens up the mind to notice how unique his body of work is.. Thanks for the feedback 💪🏾
He’s great at throwing the same exact punch consecutive times, not all fighters have the ability to be so accurate after the first one is thrown which makes it look super forced and awkward
One thing I’ve noticed about Lomas stance is that he’s more square on than the ‘typical, ‘textbook’ boxing stance. I was always taught to be real side on or ‘bladed’ as some say.
My number 1 P4P! He is also the most exciting fighter in boxing. Mayweather is my favorite fighter of all time, I would have loved to see them fight at 130-135. I think Loma would have gave him his toughest test. I’m not going to say he would win cause there is no blueprint for that lol.
@3RD CAV if loma wins I will never go against him Loma is really fighting a welterweight not a light weight and a really good welterweight Loma really is a real 130 pounder.i think he's a warrior but there's a stronger pitbull fighting A small wolf
Andy Gonzalez decent point but let’s not forget a pit bull is considered a pet in the grand scheme of things, wolves are meant to be in the wild. Nonetheless it will make for a great match up.
Na loma has heart, people forget he fought the majority of the linares fight with a shoulder injury, a serious shoulder injury at that plus he got up from a knockdown and stopped the fight in the late rounds, you’ll have to catch loma super clean and knock him dead to beat him or else he’ll keep coming until his last breath, I believe loma would die in the ring before he gives up, the likelyhood of him getting knocked out is slim as he is too impeccable with his defence

Loading... Yeah I'd make that flight also, I'd love to train with them.
Yeah he created a unique fighting style that I have never seen Before. Slick, defensive and action pack! His footwork and timing is second to none.
Cotto is left handed but fights orthodox
Thanks for this video, Loma definitely a great fighter and it's great to see him working it out. 🙏
He has the best bag work technique

Dean Miller great points, mechanics are definitely on point..

People who disliked the video.. Were expecting a better video quality I guess... Who can dislike loma...
With all due respect why does he stop so frequently ?
because most of these clips are from media workouts and fighters go really light in media workouts so they stop frequenty
Vasily is fighting Teofimo I believe next month can't wait both fighters have great skills in the ring
I think Lopez will knock him out in 9 rounds

Lopez physically will be drained by rd9. If he doesn't do it by round 6, Loma will really take the fight over
@@reubenrogers9355 agree.
