So simple to press that unfinished seam down before turning right side out. I have never done that before. I mess with trying to press after turning. You would think I would know your way makes way more since. Thank you for showing semi beginners like myself an easier way to approach pressing opened seams before turning.
Thank you for the video. In the first demo I am a bit confused. Do I lie the backing fabric pretty side up then my cross stitch piece pretty side up and the white fabric on top of that pretty side down ?
Hi Debbie. In the video at 09:17 the layer of the fabrics is shown. Place the white fabric down first, place fabric for the back on top of the white with pretty side up. Then place the cross stitch pretty side down on top. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
I love to do cross stitch, & I have a huge pile of pieces that need to be finished. I am going to try doing a pillow! Thank You!! 💜💜💜

OMG! That tip on folding back and ironing the seam while it's still inside out is ingenious! It'll make it neater and easier to sew! Thanks, Sherrill!

When sewing a double border is it better to sew the borders together first or do each onto the stitched piece.
