Miku usually gets one song per album where she is lead vocals. Miku's songs are (in order of release): 1. "Summer Drive" 2. "Big Dad" 3. "Beauty And The Beast" 4. "Time" 5. "Rock In Me" 6. "Sayonakidori" (Nightingale) 7. "Brightest Star" To hear her sing try the acoustic version of "Sayonakidori". The MV is on their channel. (And Akane the drummer is on backing vocals)! She also has a solo project under the name Cluppo where she sings a genre she calls "Hippy-Pop-Po". She has MV's on her channel
Band-Maid has landed upon in the past few years how to best utilize Miku's wonderful voice -- harmonies, octaves, screams -- the perfect complement to Saiki's rock and roll lead voice. Listen to Miku on Black Hole and her harmonies perform the role of the soaring violins in Brahms 4th symphony 1st movement. Classically trained Kanami truly has a full orchestra at her disposal, and Miku's voice for all the colors she adds is a critical piece.
What I also love about this video is that Miku & Misa are down on the floor with the tech crew, facing the other Maids up on the stage. It can be seen clearly in quite a few of the shots. Always something a bit different with these women.
Great reaction and in most of their songs MIku provides all vocal embellishments, coughs, screams, trills, pigeon sounds, harmonies, etc. She's a one woman vocal machine. MISA said in an interview that Why, Why, Why the song she enjoyed the best off the "Unseen World" album. Thanks for continuing to react to Band-Maid.
I LOVE this song! This is one of my favorites from "Unseen World", such a fun little diamond if the rough, BANGER! .......very underrated I've said it before many times that Miku and Saiki are the greatest synchronized vocal duo since Cindy and Kate from B-52's, and they were the best.
That smoothness mainly comes from diaphragm, like you say. There is an old rumor that Frank Sinatra used to jump in the pool and hold his breath under water to strengthen his diaphragm control.
3 of my favourite BM songs do not have solos at all - Gion Cho (Band Maiko) for which there is a MV and Forbidden Tale & The One off of Epic Narratives. Epic Narratives also has a MV. Play, a great live song also doesn't have a solo in the studio version but live it generally gets expanded to add all sorts of goodies, the official live version is well worth checking out too.
“Different”, “start over”, “glory”, “At the drop of the hat”, “About Us” are other songs without a solo. From their older songs, “Price of Pride”, “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Smile” don’t have solos but they weren’t composed by BAND-MAID.
Miku generally has one lead vocal song per album. Actually, on the first 2 albums, Saiki and Miku would trade verses a good bit, but later, Saiki and Miku settled more into a lead/backup structure. Miku lead songs are Big Dad, Beauty and the Beast, Time, Rock in Me, Sayonakidori, and the newest from Epic Narratives, Brightest Star. A pigeon also told me there is another artist you may like called Cluppo...🕊️☮️♥️
This song is a cracker. One of the lesser known tracks from Unseen World that has become a great fan fave. In my top five. I have a feeling that Miku has longer breath, than Saiki. Genre- Spice Girls meets Steve Via.
You must react to Sayonakidori with Miku on lead vocals 😁 do both the original live version and the acoustic live version of the song. Both versions are amazing😍 Great reaction of a great song😀👍
Saiki is the better vocalist, she has control of more of the tools. But if you need a Maid to hit a note and sustain it, Kobato's your girl. They each in turn sustain a long note at the end of "Influencer" which sounds great on the album. Live, Kobato pulled it off better. Thanks for the reaction!
I wouldn't say "better." I'd say "different." Saiki's voice is better suited to the music they generally play. It's lower, darker and fuller, albeit with less range. Miku's voice is brighter, thinner with a larger range. But her timbre doesn't really fit what they play most of the time...and Miku realized that early on. Her voice works well in the background as her timbre helps cut through thr back ground clutter of sound
@@armynurseboySaiki's range is a bit over 3 octaves, which is still impressive and Miku has about a half octave wider. Actually Miku can go tad lower than Saiki, but Saiki's low voice is more velvety and has more vibrato. Miku's voice is suited for poppier songs.

For each member of Band Maid it is always for the betterment of the song. Dedication to perfection.
Miku spends fully 12% of Toi et Moi screaming, from their latest album. I counted.

Black Hole and Giovanni both...where the vocal harmonies are a perfect match for the musical chaos. What a band 👌💪🔥🥳🤘🤘🤘

If you like Miku, be prepared for a double dip of Sayonakidori ! You've been warned ! 🤯
No, he's been Maid. 😂
💜💛❤💙💚
Now you have to do Sayonakidori Live and acoustic as a double.
Coming right up...🎆🎇

I enjoy them asking Why, but I'm pretty sure I know why.

Miku became the true backing vocal as she took on a bigger rhythm guitar role.
and Summer Drive
I have a playlist of songs featuring Miku screams and shouts. My favorite shout of all time is from Manners, " DON'T SAY YOU LOVE MEEEEEE! " LOL
After life !
@@zolitoth2458Yeah yeah...yeah yeah yeah yeah!! 🤣

Do check out Miku's side project Cluppo.

Miku did a pigeon call po!
Three cheers for Miku!

Saiki starts with "surrender, " so technically they both can hold note equally long. Miku's scream is punchier though.
