I rather think Palpatine would in part feel RELIEF that Anakin's potential had been robbed of him. It seems as if beyond using Anakin to secure the Empire he did not really have a contingency plan for Anakin's growing power. Anakin's power, good looks, and wartime reputation would make for a very attractive Emperor, maybe even a preferable one. Anakin was obviously already scheming early on how to overthrow the Emperor. His fantasy of ruling the galaxy as a power couple with Padme would be impossible (death aside) due to her stubbornness so perhaps that would gum up the works in terms of Anakin's motivation. When you mentioned about Padme and her son Luke at 5:45, I can't help to share this even though it does not have anything to do with Palpatine. I apologize to sound like a know it all. This is my opinion but I believe that Padme was always there in the OT, not in person but as a spirit or a ghost or something you the audience and the characters could not see her yet. If you remember Padme's last words before dying: "There is good in him, I know...I know" and suddenly in ROTJ, Luke says to Leia "There is good in him, I felt it". Coincidence? I don't think so. This connection suggests to me that Padme stuck around after her death in hopes of getting Darth Vader back to the light once again, mostly likely that was her mission all along. It seems likely she watched over her children, mostly Luke because Luke looked up to Anakin. Because of this, I believe she had an ability to influence people to go in her favor and possibly an ability to protect and shield people of any kind. Here are some of my theories where Padme in spirit may have been involved in the movies: Luke hearing good things about Anakin his father and reaches to the point where he idolizes him. Padme or no? Darth Vader not sensing Leia is Force Sensitive, even though she is late in her abilities. Padme or no? Leia resisting Darth Vader's torture. Padme or no? Luke leaves Tatooine and finds Leia on the Death Star. Padme or no? Darth Vader fails to kill Luke during the first Death Star battle and he survives. Padme or no? Luke survives the Wampa attack. Padme or no? Luke's vision of seeing Han, Chewie, and Leia getting tortured in Cloud City. Padme or no? Luke rushes to Cloud City, despite Obi Wan and Yoda telling to not to. Padme or no? Pushing Vader and Luke to each other. Padme or no? Vader revealing to Luke he is her father. Padme or no? Luke survives Cloud City. Padme or no? Leia uses her force powers for the first time upon sensing Luke. Padme or no? Luke senses the good in Vader for the first time. Padme or no? Leia mentioned to seeing Padme once. Padme or no? Luke talks to Darth Vader on Endor. Padme or no? Luke resisting the dark side. Padme or no? Luke trying to reach out to Anakin inside Darth Vader get him to become good again. Padme or no? Darth Vader watching Luke die and finally killing Palpatine. Padme or no? Darth Vader finally becomes good again. Padme or no?
Hey Star Wars Theory I’m a huge fan of the channel dude and on my other channel I use I’ve been subbed to you for years but I wanted to point something out in ROTJ that I thought was really cool and maybe you have already seen this… but at the 1:36:54 mark there is a biker scout with his helmet off standing with a few other rebels surrounded by the imperials and he’s on the rebellions side with his hands up and it’s the SAME BEARDED GUY from a couple shots before EVERYONE theoris’s is CAPTAIN REX! Thought it was pretty hilarious and now I really wonder if Dave filoni made Rex look so similar to this guy in rebels and maybe he really did draw inspiration from it 🤔🧐love the channel man MTFBWY ✌️
Vader"where Padme" "It would seem in your anger you killed her." This is why Anakin never went away because turning to dark side cause him to lose want he loved most.
I don't get Sidous' preocupation at the beginning of the video. At first he seems to care about Anakin as an apprentice or successor, but his later actions contradict that kind of behavior from him. So maybe his attachment to Vader is something like a valuable asset that he sank many hours into building. No different than a death star?
Palpatine only wanted the absolute best to be his apprentice. As it has been detailed in countless sources, after Vader was injured on Mustafar and rebuilt, he no longer had the same potential he once had, and while he grew stronger than he was before, he had lost the ability to surpass Palpatine. Because of this, Palpatine began looking for alternatives. Vader is also cited as being the Empire's greatest weapon, so while he was an extremely valuable asset, he was still only a tool that would be discarded when it no longer had any use.
Using a sports analogy, you managed to sign the best player in history and he’s absolutely wrecking everyone in training camp. Then he tears his ACL and is out for a year; when he comes back he’s still quite good and still arguably the best but no longer the GOAT, so you’ll want to trade him at some point
One thing I've wondered for a long time is why Vader couldn't feel some kinship with Leia when he captured/interrogated her in A New Hope. I mean...there probably was no plan to make Leia into Luke's sister originally (given the kiss in Empire...which makes the "I've always known" quote from Jedi a bit cringy) but it's still strange that Vader felt nothing about her. Heck he never even guessed that maybe her latent Force abilities were what allowed her to resist interrogation.
I think for sidious the fact that anakin was burned alive and had his limbs cut off was even better. For darth sidious, he feeds off the pain and suffering to increase his connection to the dark side. Infact he takes it a step further and manipulates him into thinking hes killed padme, and continues to manipulate him for the entire rest of their relationship.
The line that made Vader and the viewers feel sad was when Palpatine said “It seems in your anger, you killed her” which people honestly didn’t expect the first time they watched the movie
I also submit that Luke looks more like Padme than he does Anakin (whereas Leia looks more like Anakin) so something like Luke having her eyes or facial expressions that Vader recognizes has got to be very emotional for Anakin.
"I am the one that reactivated your shield generators! Now witness the firepower of this fully operational invisible doggy fence!" - Sidious gets a Job!.
Palpatine watching Vader get his bad boy suit: "Aw, heck. All that time waiting for this kid to be legal, and he grew up to be disfigured. Time to find a new child to become obsessed with." Honestly, the Sith and the Jedi have a bizarre and disturbing and frankly disgusting fixation on children. Kreiya was right, actually. Kill all the force using weirdos.
@@freekill1018 sadly, killing the force would have to kill every force sensitive individual currently living in the galaxy. But it would still be the only way to eradicate the countless cycles of destruction, genocide and atrocities caused by the force itself. Maybe instead of letting all force sensitive children die, they could be sought out and their connection to the force could be cut. But any means by which you stop the weird pedo like behavior of Sith and Jedi would be justified.

Here are some of my theories where Padme in spirit may have been involved in the movies:
Luke hearing good things about Anakin his father and reaches to the point where he idolizes him.
I want a Vader story based game where you hunt down rebel cells and fugitive Jedi, with some Anakin flashbacks thrown in.
That og intro made me check the date lol
Anakin should have been like "I'll try spinning, that's a good trick" whilst dueling Space Jesus.
I remember getting the Jr.Novelization at a scholastic book fair. Best thing I ever bought from those.
Nothing that a little Marcan herb cannot heal...Closest equivalent of Star Wars canopy
there’s a reason why you’re the #1 star wars youtuber 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome work bro!
Hey theory big fan seen from beginning to now inspires me to do more continue to do great things thank you 🙏🏼
There is a pre suit Vader (which is Anakin during order 66). Vader is not only Anakin wearing his suit…
The Palpatine/Vader content never gets old.
Also my point was that that’s definitely something captain Rex would do slip on some white armor and blend in lol
I’ve noticed and thought that as well
Vader"where Padme"
"It would seem in your anger you killed her."
This is why Anakin never went away because turning to dark side cause him to lose want he loved most.
The voice impersonation’s are actually really good😂
My cat loves listening to you. My mom says that finally understands Star Wars in a way she didn’t because of your channel.
Great video! Thank you for this!
congrats on 3 million homie
The best way to make my day better
Your Darth Sidious voice is fantastic!
I'm sorry for Vader. He did everything only for Padme and lost her because he listened to Palpatine.
Yo he killed kids…. Like a lot of kids… how can you feel bad for that?
He was a fool
"It would seem in your anger you killed her." True, from a certain point of view.
Watching this on my Lunch break at work today
Dont let the haters get to you Theory 98% of your followers are true fans Keep these Coming we love you man 💪😎 #wegotyourback
Oooooh. Classic style vid.
Love your face but this sense of familiarity is nice right now
Palpatine's thoughts: "should I call him Darth Mat?"
Robot chicken 😂
I love how you used the old intro
The line that made Vader and the viewers feel sad was when Palpatine said “It seems in your anger, you killed her” which people honestly didn’t expect the first time they watched the movie
I also submit that Luke looks more like Padme than he does Anakin (whereas Leia looks more like Anakin) so something like Luke having her eyes or facial expressions that Vader recognizes has got to be very emotional for Anakin.
Your old videos like these are far better than your new ones .. intro and ending in these videos is pretty cool and the videos are very interesting.
Dang that intro brings back so much memories
"I am the one that reactivated your shield generators! Now witness the firepower of this fully operational invisible doggy fence!" - Sidious gets a Job!.
Another banger as always!
That new/old intro really took me back
Lol
The old intro strikes back
I know im joining your channel late but goddamn you doing a really really good job
Brilliant idea to have the old intro back
Palpatine watching Vader get his bad boy suit:
"Aw, heck.
All that time waiting for this kid to be legal, and he grew up to be disfigured.
Time to find a new child to become obsessed with."
Honestly, the Sith and the Jedi have a bizarre and disturbing and frankly disgusting fixation on children.
Kreiya was right, actually.
Kill all the force using weirdos.
I mean children use the force you about to Anakin them as well
ewww
@@freekill1018 sadly, killing the force would have to kill every force sensitive individual currently living in the galaxy.
But it would still be the only way to eradicate the countless cycles of destruction, genocide and atrocities caused by the force itself.
Maybe instead of letting all force sensitive children die, they could be sought out and their connection to the force could be cut.
But any means by which you stop the weird pedo like behavior of Sith and Jedi would be justified.
The more it goes the more i thank god for not leaving this channle behind
Palpatine's Thoughts: 'I could go for some hot wings right about now'
Palpatines actual thoughts: **Witch Doctor plays on repeat in his head**
"This Is Outrageous, It's Unfair!!"
@Jessica💋 Sweety Hotgirl - Vlogs I may smell like bacon but I still got all the beef where it counts
Great video, as always.. but probably not the best to be watching right before bed. Now I'm not going to be able to keep the wheels in my head from turning.. 😳
