Agree with Crackst0n3, the 1:02 scene is the first front flip I have seen in 50+ degree steeps; rocky no less. He must have practiced that! Surprising! Given the quick cut, it must be a good runout below there. Actually, 1:06-1:07 are some of the most technically impressive turns for me; where the same guy who can front flip must focus and turn; and that is some of the steepest terrain in the vid. That looks to be in the vicinity of 60 degrees. The 60+ mph duo is gorgeous, love it! Encore!
I agree with you, in my friend group the boarders are a minority, I just reckon that skiers landing from drops is a 1 on the "style-smoothness scale" :p

I think that skiing looks a little more beautiful then boarders when you get really good. And I think that a lot of people could agree. Doesn't mean skiing's better though. Don't give me shit for this, cause its just my opinion.
I use a 180 custom X and I tried this shit once when my bike broke and was desperate for a little fun , It turned out to be fun yet fucking hard That snow there riding is un-ridden making you sink easy , I envy the guys who are this good.
The Ski Boots jointed into the Ski's doesn't provide the same weight displacement as a snowboard. A snowboard covers a larger area and displaces weight over a larger portion of space. This combined with the fact that a Snowboard anchors your feet to a singular solid object and not two moving points of contact provides for a much easier landing.
Fuck this is some old school shit. I like it. The guy in the beginning is lucky he didnt end up in a small avalanche. Look at the stress fractures in the snow at 0:16

Man i love freeriding in untouched snow its the best. I've done something simmilar but in no way was i as fast or as much of a nutter as these guys... I bet these guys could out run an avalanche with no problems. fuck its scary when you see snow moving like water under your feet, but again adrenaline is awesome...I guess i am somewhat a junkie.
