There are 3 resorts close to Santiago that are all in the same basic area: La Parva - Some runs are ski only, booo!, El Colorado - Where I ride most, Valle Nevado - The most famous resort from Chile with good terrain

There are many chilean riders that ride for local teams but there other riders that are in International teams, like Manuel Diaz who is in Nitro International Team

Who else saw at an AT&T advertisement at the beginning of this video? I'd like to take this opportunity to express my opinion that AT&T is among the least responsible and most abusive of multinational corporations. This video is sweet, but when you're choosing a wireless provider, please do not buy AT&T! They will screw you over.
Depends on where you ride...I'm guessing East Coast with boards that small. My wife is 5'6" and rides a 154. I'm 6'0 and ride a 168 on powder days...164 on other days. I'm in Colorado though...much more powder. You need a bigger board for deeper snow. A 148 and you'll never go anywhere in 16" of fresh.
1965 the first snowboard ever invented was made out of two skis put together and had a rope to hold on and that involved to a snowboard company called surfur used the idea of a surfing board and put it on snow
People that says that there cant be snow in south america are just ignorant. Chile has ones of the coolest mountains in the world. Plus, when you snowboard or ski there, its not as cold as in Canada or USA, wich is awesome.
@TheAksnowrider I get a season pass every year at my favorite mountain and i go up pretty much every day off ive gone at least 10 days since the season started... well i live really close to it too...
i love Chile, i'm Colombia and i can't practice snowboarding there......... :(
