What happened to this young man was terrible 😞! He stated that the rape occurred at the individual’s grandmother’s house and that was the connection he needed to report to the police. The statute of limitations for rape in Tennessee is 15 years and he should still report it to stop the perpetrator from doing the same to others.

My reaction to this brother's entrapment will be over several stages and several days as I attempt to process his experience. Any normal person would be shocked and sickened to the core to hear listening to brother's testimony. I am a little concerned about the interviewer's questioning method and his response to the brother's answers. It seems that Mr. Marcus was belittling the man for not doing his part to get out of this dangerous situation. First, this man was on a ship without an anchor and was preyed upon by pedophiles. When one experiences this type of traumatic experience, it can send a person into "shock" and a stage of comatose. Just think, how does a person react when being devoured by an alligator or a little bird being suffocated by the constrictions of a snake. Thank God this young man was able to make it out alive. This is experience leaves mentally and emotionally scarring. That being said, this man essentially became "brain dead" and his cognitive skills became diminished. Sure, he could have tried to escape the grasps of this 6'5" man, but he did not "know" how. We do not know if he was being held in a rural area with a local police precinct or not. After enduring something like this, it could take an individual as much as10 - 20 years to even labeled what occurred. Years later, a person could be watching television and see a segment and shout out "That's what happened to me!". For all those years since the incident, the person may simply have shoved the traumatic experience into the recesses of his brain, until one day it all comes back just as clear as day. For example, when I was a child, I was run over by a car while walking home through a gas station. I was 2" from the gas pump and all that I had to do was step up on the gas pump pedestal. At 8-9 years old, I did not know how to escape the danger of this big car barreling towards me. The only thing I could do was submit as the car sucked my little body underneath its belly. The same, too, for this young man.

I’m not usually an emotional person, and it takes a lot to bring me to tears. But hearing this story stirred up a mix of emotions-sadness, anger, and relief that he’s alive and able to move forward. If there’s anything I can do to support this young man, I’m more than willing to help.

My heart instantly broke! You can see the pain in his eyes and where he is trying his very best to suppress his emotions. At 19 years old is still a kid, even though he's legally grown. I pray he becomes a motivational speaker, and he goes far in life. No one deserves this at all. God will deal with those guys for what they did. NOBODY records a rape of an unconscious person and, not only sends it to their friends… but then sends it to the parents of the person they raped. Also, a degree in Physical edu, one would learn and embrace a more Inclusive and empathetic learning style. Thus, he would understand displaying empathy is needed when conversing with people dealing with such trauma as the young man detailed in this interview. Marcus lacked empathy with the slight laughter with the youngman responses in my opinión!

My reaction to this brother's entrapment will be over several stages and several days as I attempt to process his experience. Any normal person would be shocked and sickened to the core to hear listening to brother's testimony. I am a little concerned about the interviewer's questioning method and his response to the brother's answers. It seems that Mr. Marcus was belittling the man for not doing his part to get out of this dangerous situation. First, this man was on a ship without an anchor and was preyed upon by pedophiles. When one experiences this type of traumatic experience, it can send a person into "shock" and a stage of comatose. Just think, how does a person react when being devoured by an alligator or a little bird being suffocated by the constrictions of a snake. Thank God this young man was able to make it out alive. This is experience leaves mentally and emotionally scarring. That being said, this man essentially became "brain dead" and his cognitive skills became diminished. Sure, he could have tried to escape the grasps of this 6'5" man, but he did not "know" how. We do not know if he was being held in a rural area with a local police precinct or not. After enduring something like this, it could take an individual as much as10 - 20 years to even labeled what occurred. Years later, a person could be watching television and see a segment and shout out "That's what happened to me!". For all those years since the incident, the person may simply have shoved the traumatic experience into the recesses of his brain, until one day it all comes back just as clear as day. For example, when I was a child, I was run over by a car while walking home through a gas station. I was 2" from the gas pump and all that I had to do was step up on the gas pump pedestal. At 8-9 years old, I did not know how to escape the danger of this big car barreling towards me. The only thing I could do was submit as the car sucked my little body underneath its belly. The same, too, for this young man.
I'm so proud of you young man for speaking out on this. I hope the people that did this to you were prosecuted. God bless you!

For some reason I feel like he lying. I think he volunteered to sleep with the guy for money to get drugs. Because why would a man come pick him up, record raping him. Show him, send it to his mom and friends. It just don't make any since to me. Then the dude does this at his grandma house. He never leave to get help. I’m not usually an emotional person, and it takes a lot to bring me to tears. But hearing this story stirred up a mix of emotions-sadness, anger, and relief that he’s alive and able to move forward. If there’s anything I can do to support this young man, I’m more than willing to help.

My heart instantly broke! You can see the pain in his eyes and where he is trying his very best to suppress his emotions. At 19 years old is still a kid, even though he's legally grown. I pray he becomes a motivational speaker, and he goes far in life. No one deserves this at all. God will deal with those guys for what they did. Proud of this young man for no longer being afraid to share his truth. There are others who have gone through this, and videos like this will give them the courage to not keep it in. God bless this young man. He definitely needed a hug, prayer and healing.

I feel like this dude is making this story up as he goes along. NOBODY records a rape of an unconscious person and, not only sends it to their friends… but then sends it to the parents of the person they raped.
Especially since the rape occurred at their home where it’s easy to send police there, or to get information about who they are - even if they moved the next day.
