We got the property from an auction and fixed it up for him. He still chose the streets with his friends. He was very defiant and rebellious, which was completely out of his character. I'm happy he's home listening now. He gets to pocket the $800 in rent, has two vending machines, and is getting ready for a tech career. Now, if he ever does this again, he will be put out good. He's been warned. I make him pay for everything out his income now. I just gave him leg up. He's going to try to get another investment property when he turns 18 in a few months.
Josias is mentally challenged, and on drugs. He does not have, the mental capacity; to make wise decisions. That young man needs professional help, as well as medication. I agree with you this should happen once Parent realizes his Disabilities. He needed structure environment 24/ 7 to keep him grounded and focused somewhere someone failed him. Marcus needs to stop entertain his behaviors. He has to want to help himself at this point.
That’s the ADHD - it causes poor judgment. They hurt, and are always burning bridges with the people who care and help them the most. Not just my analysis (family member has it ,), it’s a scientific theory. And not all ADHD individuals do as Josias does (it’s a spectrum), but the ones who have it heavily like he does, it’s really hard to get through to them, they see you as the enemy.
He clearly has autisim, adhd. I don't think theres much that can be done here. The reality is that he has to figure it out his own. He is never gonna change unless he genuinely wants to.
There is nothing funny to watch our youth do drugs that have a life long effect. I'm speaking from the heart as a recovering addict clean and sober for 2yrs. There is not an interview in this world that can change this young man. He has to accept a power greater than him to restore him back to sanity. He definitely is a victim of his surroundings and needs intense recovery. Just for today I am thankful that I am recovering and I watch these videos with deep sadness . Josius is a nice-looking boy with potential. However, I’m feeling that he has a mental illness that can be helped with the proper medication, which he is not taking. This, coupled with the use of illicit drugs and unresolved trauma, has him going down the wrong path. I’m guessing that his relationship with his mother has a lot to do with his past traumas. This is truly sad.

Marcus…. I know how much Josias has damn near became our internet child. His features remind me so much of my 19 year old son. ( the innocence of it all) I am learning that the more I preached to my son, the more he took away what he wanted and still in yet did what he wanted to do. I had to take my hand off him and continue to pray for a positive direction for him. He is doing much better and also has his own apartment and works a full time job. I wanted him to pursue college but I learned that he had to chose his own path. I love the way you check in with his whereabouts but still allow him to do what HE is choosing to do. My son is 19 as well on the deans list works a full time job to help me pay his bills because he up and decided to move out the dorms. But with all that i still see him as a baby i know he’s a grown man but i still see diapers and paci’s when i look at him. Josiah’s breaks my heart because i can see my son in him and how it all could’ve been different and still could be with a few bad decisions. Me seeing this, it really shocked me. Josias does not know what he’s in for and he has to realize that people play no games when it comes to their possessions. That’s the ADHD - it causes poor judgment. They hurt, and are always burning bridges with the people who care and help them the most. Not just my analysis (family member has it ,), it’s a scientific theory. And not all ADHD individuals do as Josias does (it’s a spectrum), but the ones who have it heavily like he does, it’s really hard to get through to them, they see you as the enemy.
He clearly has autisim, adhd. I don't think theres much that can be done here. The reality is that he has to figure it out his own. He is never gonna change unless he genuinely wants to.

There is nothing funny to watch our youth do drugs that have a life long effect. I'm speaking from the heart as a recovering addict clean and sober for 2yrs. There is not an interview in this world that can change this young man. He has to accept a power greater than him to restore him back to sanity. He definitely is a victim of his surroundings and needs intense recovery. Just for today I am thankful that I am recovering and I watch these videos with deep sadness . Josius is a nice-looking boy with potential. However, I’m feeling that he has a mental illness that can be helped with the proper medication, which he is not taking. This, coupled with the use of illicit drugs and unresolved trauma, has him going down the wrong path. I’m guessing that his relationship with his mother has a lot to do with his past traumas. This is truly sad.

( the innocence of it all) I am learning that the more I preached to my son, the more he took away what he wanted and still in yet did what he wanted to do. But with all that i still see him as a baby i know he’s a grown man but i still see diapers and paci’s when i look at him. Josias needs to be isolated when he is confronted because he is too easily distracted. Maybe if Marcus can find a way to be with him one on one to stage some kind of intervention. If he can get his mental health together and get medication for that then he will be on the right track. He playing games with the streets but the streets not playing games with him. If you see this Josias be encouraged that you can overcome this
Me seeing this, it really shocked me. Josias does not know what he’s in for and he has to realize that people play no games when it comes to their possessions. Especially when they are just as homeless as he is. I can’t believe he had the nerve to tell Marcus that he was not doing any more interviews.
