The City of Pearl is described as the biggest One Belt and One Road project in the Philippines by the hpa. It will cover an area of 407 hectares (1,010 acres). It will be situated between the Manila South Port and the Pasig River estuary, at the current Baseco Coumpound. Additional reclaimed land will be leveled up for the project. Connected by a loop road network and a driverless railway system, it will be an integrated central business district.[1] 10 to 20 percent of the development will be allotted for open space areas. The district will be divided into two main areas. The outer ring will feature a 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) waterfront promenade and an all-weather park[2] while the inner ring will have an "extensive" central park and golf course. A water taxi network will connect the two islands to the rest of Manila. Solar and tidal power will be also used for the development's power consumption. Among also the other features of City of Pearl will be a stadium. Commercial and residential areas will also be allotted and is projected to make over 50,000 jobs available.
SM Bay City, also known as the Manila Bay Freeport Zone and Manila Bay Area, is the name for the reclamation area on Manila Bay located west of Roxas Boulevard and the Manila-Cavite Expressway in Metro Manila, the Philippines. The area is split between the cities of Manila and Pasay on the north side and Parañaque on the south
New Clark City is a planned community under development located within the Clark Special Economic Zone in the towns of Capas and Bamban at the Tarlac province, Philippines.[1] It has an area of approximately 9,450 hectares (23,400 acres) and will accommodate up to 1.2 million people. It is managed by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA). NCC is patterned after the development of Putrajaya, the federal administrative capital of Malaysia

Wow, one thing Metro Manila needs most: more Golf Courses. For real? How about some public parks that are accessible to everyone and provide some fresh air?
Most of the new urban district like Bonifacio Global City and Arca South public park and garden is already integrated in their master Plan. They have already golf courses in the Fort Area.

It's like Metro Manila doesn't have parks, it only has golf courses. And the downside to golf courses is, there a golfballs flying around, so not a very relaxing place to hang out. And the worst part is, they are exclusive to members and their guests - so the not for the public.
Business owners or stakeholders wanted only to earn more money and return of investments, public parks should be funded by the government.

Was this designed by chinese? Honestly, I'd rather want the Philippines to be in partnership with China or Japan than United States, bc after using the Philippines before as a military base where many civilians died and the pearl of orient destroyed, Americans wasn't even able to help Filipinos get back to its original state. It makes me question whether the Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere before was really just a hoax made by Japan to dominate East Asia, as United States made it to be. The Forest City project spans across a handful of artificial plots of land that are growing out from the shore of Peninsular Malaysia towards Singapore. I'm just worried that the smart city that they will build here in our country will only be for Chinese because the investors are from China just like what happened in Malaysia(forest city). Maybe that's the reason why that project is being delayed.

You guys are mad to chinese people but they are the ones wholl take a risk to invest more projects here in the philippines. As a third world country, we cant afford to rise on our own, we need a stable and powerful country to partner with. Wag kayong ipokrito. Yung agawan sa teritoryo, alam ni PRRD lahat yan at kung ano tamang gawin. Silent lang yan but im sure na malaki pakinabang nito satin. That old man has proven to have balls, comparare sa ibang dumaan. Aminin nyo man o hindi. Maaring may nadedelay sa mga pinangako nya pero im sure that hes working hard to make it happen.
