Thank youuu, omg it worked after months of trying and giving up. switching works but if my VHDL design contains a clock so i can create timers or time related things then it will not work , the program will flash successfully but nothing will blink. With a normal design directly programming from vivado the blinking works though but its volatile.
Hmm I haven't run into issues with sequential circuits. You could try posting your question and your code (with a link to my video) on the xilinx community forums, or the EEV blog in the FPGA section.
@@Dom-bo8wd Hello, I managed to make it work, already, i probably missed something. Now my RTL design with counters works fine, exportable as hardware and programmable into the flash with the SDK :) Thank you again

If you want to flash both the fpga and the arm core follow step 4 of this tutorial: digilent.com/reference/learn/programmable-logic/tutorials/zedboard-programming-guide/start Make sure to pay special attention to appendix A. This process is what I do

having a HPS in this case is easier than all pure Artix-7.
