This video is amazing - and it's very hard to watch it and not get choked up. Think about the power of art to make us feel - and make no mistake - this video is ART. Then watch 60,000 Celtic fans,all with scarves aloft, singing it at "Celtic v Baevelona" and in the 3-minute video, they turn the P A Sustem off at halfway and you just hear the crowd with all 60,000 singing. Please tell me what you think.

It is not as if it was written with Liverpool or Liverpool F C in mind, as I am sure that you are aware that this song originated in the musical "Carousel" in 1945 which was adapted from a Hungarian play, originally based in Budapest and updated to be part of the New England State of Maine. Not much of a Merseyside connection , unless old Oscar Hammerstein was a secret Scouser:) The idea that commenters should only "concentrate" on their team smacks of "self-entitlement". Self-entitled Scousers? This song was made all the more poignant by the Hillsborough disaster, when many Liverpool FC fans lost their lives. I find it very moving still
