tmlcrosbyfan yes it was I saw him years ago I was wearing a hat said the beatles about the fourth song he sang that night was yellow submarine and pointed at my hat
In yellow submarine seeing Paul McCartney joining in the sing along with Ringo is gold ❤️🥺 makes you wish to see John Lennon and George Harrison alive to join in - Beatles never die
@Key Both are incredibly difficult, i dont think one is harder than the other, theyre just so different, but with drumming you have to keep the beat for yourself AND for the entire band
Fun fact: Dave Ghrol had told Ringo prior to the concert that his daughter loved Yellow Submarine, hence Ringo's sweet shout out to father and daughter.
Hate to say it but i disagree, George was not only one of the greastest guitar players to live on this planet but a mastermind of lyrics, many of the songs you hear from the beatles are written or co written by George, God rest his soul
I have a Ringo story. He once dropped into a recording session I was playing in. He's a sincerely lovely guy without a trace of arrogance. With a little persuading he had a quick go on the drum kit that was there. I couldn't believe how loud he played! I mentioned this. He chuckled a bit and said that of course he was loud because he had to get over the screaming of the Beatles fans so the other guys had some idea of where they were in the songs they played.
@Francis Boyle We know all that Sir Ringo Starr is a lovely and selfless individual who always puts others before himself. That is why I think that he was the only Beatle who earned the Award for Musical Excellence at his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
Ringo rocked the house!!! Ringo electrified everyone was smiling, head's shaking, clapping, and dancing. Never have I seen an entire audience so into a performance. It truly was magical 😊😂😊 smiling and hea
One of the funnest and best performances I’ve ever seen. If he comes to town, don’t miss ‘em, his shows are truly legendary. One of the best performers “ever.” 🕊️😎
@filmtvbiz I could not agree more about that! Concerts by the "All-Starr Band" are truly legendary based on what I heard. Although some people may disagree about the concerts not being as great since Ringo is not the sole performer, they will definitely change their minds once they see the other musicians perform just as greatly as Ringo does! If I do get a chance to see them perform some day, I hope it can be at a dinner theater where you can get some food and watch them perform at the same time. Does that sound good to you?
Fantastic! What a group of people. Ringo singing, got Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson jamming, Paul, Dave Grohl, Peter Frampton playing guitar, Yoko, other celebrities I can't remember. Just amazing. I would've killed to be there.
This is one of Ringo's best live performances. I love his drumming and singing on this one. I especially love the feeling with the audience, he really made the whole crowd enjoy that moment. The moment where he says to Dave Grohl "Is that your little girl? Beautiful!" (7:16) is amazing and super cute just like Ringo. And of course all the enjoyment of Yoko is spectacular, I feel 100% represented by her 😄
And my friends are all aboard, many more of them live next door. He is refering to John Lennon and George Harrison 😢 . We miss you John and George . True legend Rest in Peace
I've always wondered how Ringo got stuck singing "Boys"? Guess we shouldn't think about the lyrics too much. Anyway, wish they gave the names of the backing band he was playing with. They were pretty good.
"Boys" was always the drummer's song. Pete Best did it when he was with them. Ringo did it with his other band, the Hurricanes. When the time came for Ringo to record it for the Beatles, he nailed it in one take.
Singing Yellow Submarine along with Ringo Starr must have been such an experience. Wow.
tmlcrosbyfan yes it was I saw him years ago I was wearing a hat said the beatles about the fourth song he sang that night was yellow submarine and pointed at my hat
Saw him this past August. And you're right. It was definitely a hell of an experience I never thought I'd share.
Ringo's voice never gets old
Ringo never gets old* hahaha
That's true
he's singing it in a different key tho
@@fvacotti I swear he hasn't changed a bit in the last 20 years
Everyone is showing their love for Ringo, he has them singing, waving their hands.
He is so likeable. His voice is so distinct. YA YA
In yellow submarine seeing Paul McCartney joining in the sing along with Ringo is gold ❤️🥺 makes you wish to see John Lennon and George Harrison alive to join in - Beatles never die
I guess they are smiling right now... 🙂
🥺🥺
Only if… It puts a 🙂 on my face thinking about it.
Fun Fact : Singing + playing the drum are the hardest things
@Key Both are incredibly difficult, i dont think one is harder than the other, theyre just so different, but with drumming you have to keep the beat for yourself AND for the entire band
Ringo is a LEGEND.(Beatles are) so it’s just okay😊
I am a drummer. I have tried singing along with certain tracks and it is so damn hard.
@@sentientmlem727 it really is, that’s one of the many reasons I love Ringo.
Brann Dailor is king at playing drums and singing.
Dave Ghrol's daughter singing yellow submarine... man, the beatles are timeless.
Fun fact: Dave Ghrol had told Ringo prior to the concert that his daughter loved Yellow Submarine, hence Ringo's sweet shout out to father and daughter.
Ringo was the secret weapon of the Beatles
And George too
Hate to say it but i disagree, George was not only one of the greastest guitar players to live on this planet but a mastermind of lyrics, many of the songs you hear from the beatles are written or co written by George, God rest his soul
I meet the 3 of them . God bless him ..????
There's definitely a reason they stole him from another band
@@DryherhairVideos how about Lennon-Mccartney colaboration?
Dude if only John would of been there enjoying himself with Yoko and George on stage so Ringo could have said " alright George " 💔💔💔
Where?
What are you talking about? F Yoko
@@BENJIR2D2 honestly I agree 100% but he really loved her and he would've been so happy
Yoko fcking Ono
not interresting
I could be wrong, but Paul paid attention to Ringo's performance like a father to his child. It was very touching.
Don't you wish you could be that hip in your 70's.
80s now

That's funny. He makes it look so effortless while he's playing that I would hacve never imagined that he sounds as loud as you said. That's amazing.
Ringo is in such fantastic shape for a 75 year old. He may have been sickly as a kid, but he found the Fountain of Youth as he got older.
Sickly childhood gave him a great immune system, plus he’s vegetarian and exercises.
only a legend can play child-like song and have great people jamming to it.
Ringo Starr Stole the Show from Beginning to end. By far my favorite Beatle.
7:42 Paul loving it.

How paul is enjoying it like he is a fan😂
I guess he is 😂
i would hope he is a fan
He's the author of that song, I hope he is :D
I know right? Paul should form a band with him m Yoko Ono’s husband, and the Hare Krishna guy.
It's mutual! Lol they're freaking legends.
Tom Hanks was having a blast.
I think he loves the beatles, his favorite film is a hard days night after all.
Yoko is in her own groove here
Sad he can no longer say.. "alright George"
Felt that one😞😢
You really had to upset me did you?
Wow, That hit hard
:(
Got to be honest - I think with the passing of time that Ringo now has the best voice of the surviving Beatles
His voice hasn’t aged at all. Paul still sounds great, but not quite in the same way that he used to.
Ringo- "I'm an old tall boy and I'm a long way from home"
Paul in the audience "Yes you are"
Fucking ♥️

Ringo is such a showman
And my daughter told me Yellow Sub was her fav song as a teen !
This makes me so happy
Ringo so much youthful energy
You couldn't see it, but there were four Beatles singing this song together. Just like before.
Seeing Paul vibe too his own music is awesome too
