Old Tel was a legend. I grew up listening to him on Radio 2 and always had me in stitches on Eurovision. He had one of the best voices ever and always put you at ease.
Sir Terry was an extremely well read and intelligent man and it shows here. I remember well how he had me in tears of laughter listening to him on the radio. Great man.

He speaking from life's experiences, particularly early life experience, of the Catholic church, at the hands of sadistic 'Christian' Brothers, in the form of physical abuse and intimidation they were so well practiced in, hopefully not the other types of abuse some of them were also well practiced in, so probably not good ones. And let's not forget the disgraceful Magdalene laundries, forced adoption and STILL refusing to reunite families by not releasing the relevant information that would at least, after all this time, make it easier to do that. My partner & I visit graves of people if 'Note ', famous, infamous, murderers, murder victims, inventors & on Easter weekend weekend we visited the graves of Elizabeth Sprigs, Robin Gibb (same cemetery) then we visited Diana Dors & her husband. A few months ago (we left a Rose as we did the previous two), we visited Terry Wogan's grave (along with two others), all in the same cemetery, Terry's grave is kept secret, you won't find the detail's on the internet unlike the other two. It's a vast cemetey & I doubt they are the only three famous people who are there. It took a lot of work but we got there. I did a piece to camara on all three as I did on the other's I've mentioned on this post. We had the added bonus of finding out where Diana Dors lived & visited her house which isn't far away at all. You can't get past the gates but it's nice to know & to see it. Interesting fact that name me laugh is that when her husband 1st found out they were going to be in a film together he said "oh no! Not miss all tits & lips?" 😅 They married about 5 months later, he loved her so much he couldn't live without her after she died. 💔
