Mum used to love listening to Wogan in the morning, 20 yrs later I was listening to him.
Thank you for yet another chance to relive the brilliance of this man.
Wonderful wasn't he?
@@richardjones8699Simply the best.
I feel sorry for the kids of today. Not having the opportunity to listen to Terry Wogan. I was born at the right time!
Ah Terry how we miss you and your banter , Lord Rest you.
Wow this was before I was even born, was born in 1993 I miss this guy he was so charming/funny.
❤️ lovely to hear his voice ! How the #BBC need him now !
We all need him.. nothing is important as Terry rambles on.. times are just different and unfortunately the clock wont go back, but your right its lovely to hear his voice, all the best my friend..
All we can do is listen and try to be a bit like him x
If I could only go back to those happy days. thank you for posting this. more please
I've posted a dozen or more Terry Wogan shows on YT, mostly taken from the podcast versions.
@@RandomRadioJottings they're fantastic 👏
Miss Tel terrible
Are there anymore from the 80's?
Well when Ken goes that’s it rip radio 2
@@paulmchugh8695 Well four months later and Ken Bruce is leaving Radio 2. I guess it's RIP with Radio 2 for you. I stopped listening in Radio 2 when Chris Evans took over in 2009. I listen to Greatest hits Radio, Smooth Radio and Boom Radio now.
@The Celtic Druid ill check them out. Have they gotcosy djs like Tel a Ken Bruce? I hope so
They even took Steve Wright off tge afternoons
Such wonderful memories. From childhood to later years Terry was always there :)
Great to hear this, my Mum was a big fan of Terry, brings back some lovely memories
Just perfect broadcasting. Terry you are so missed.
I was a TYG. Sir Terry Wogan was one of the best radio presenters of all time.
I need months of this - I hope some has been recorded
Thanks for posting this. It is so refreshing to hear a master at work. How times have changed. Even he had to allow others in to "help" when he returned. Also contrast this measured presentation with the celebrity ridden trash Radio 2 serves up these days.
How very true.
What a good man he was. May Terry rip. Grettings from Ireland.
Terry would return to breakfast radio with Wake Up to Wogan on Monday 4th January 1993 at 7.00am.
Terry Wogan i miss your shows , i grew up with you going to school god bless take care
Me too but I didn’t tell anyone 😂
Me and my Dad taking Mr to Sharples high school in bolton in the car when he was home from the oil rigs. Early eighties . Miss it so much
One of the best radio hosts ever
Dang,bloody miss tell,I’m retired now,but what a smooth intelligent DJ,rip tell,xxxxx.
A strange date to finish returning after Christmas for the end of Christmas week. I'm sure these days it would finish before Christmas. RIP Sir Terry. Sadly missed.
Introduced by Ray Moore - sadly missed too!
Just loved Ray.
@@beccamay9291 just as good as Wogan was Ray.
Ray Moore a master ! Big alma ! God love her ? 😅
RIP Sir Terry...😢
A much gentler time, at least in Radio 2 land. Pity we can't have some type of radio station like that nowadays that doesn't have around only 500 songs.
Thank you for posting this. Reminds me of days I'd stay at my grandparents
Going to record this for my weekly commute on Monday
I miss Terry wogan
Interesting to hear David Hamilton was in the running as a possible replacement before they decided to bring in Ken Bruce.
Thanks very much for this.
Lovely man
After all these years I still miss Terry I think I always will do it was a terrible shame that he passed away he gave so many people so much pressure over the years on television and on radio I suppose I would say I liked him more or radio , but his TV and radio career was faultless RIP Tel ✝️⭐
sadly missed.....The BBC used to have great morning presenters but not now
Mike O Brian, I agree with you, I've not listened to Radio 2 in the morning since Terry left in December 2009, I won't listen that irritating Chris Evans.
I agree in the main, but think Ken Bruce is one of the greats from the old days. Vanessa Feltz is utterly annoying!
Oh boy 👦 how life has changed
enjoyed mr wogan.on radio2 .not so on t.v
sadly missed* janet &john
J and J came in on the 2nd Wogan Breakfast incarnation
I have just Subbed to your Channel i am a new subscriberfrom Ireland.😊
This is when he was good and a great voice to knock Yeh up.
It really is too sad that the songs weren't played through! Just a tantalising few first and last bars! Mr Wogan would not have approved!.
Sadly I had to remove the songs as YT copyright control can sometimes mean these radio uploads won't play.
@@RandomRadioJottings what was the one with the saw working on it !
Great!!
Kool and the gang get down in it
Ironic for Gerald that the Church of England officially no longer believes in the devil
May sir Terry RIP.
Best one
Maroon 5 memories ♥
Memories indeed, I lived with my mother and my grandparents in Wales and my granddad Bill would always have Terry on Radio 2 in the morning before going to school.
Back in the day we used to have half decent entertainment for our licence fee on BBC.
Nothing has even come close since he departed and I seldom tune in these days.
BBC are renowned for running re runs of certain stuff which probably is not a good thing on many stuff, but Terry was a classic and replacing some of your current shows that (lets face it, are a waste of studio time and an affront to peoples intelligence ) could only boost radio 2 ratings.
Some of the ads I listen to on rival channels I feel superior to some radio 2 programs atm
I remember this being big news at the time, Derek Jameson just didn't cut it, the BBC could have chosen a better replacement for Tel if that's possible....anyway he came back again after Wogan ended on BBC1.
😰😥😰😰😰😰
It was his calm delivery...you had time to process what he was saying, now it's yabber yabber yabber crap. Rylan, don't get me started the name tells all.
Have you got a bit of bananarama guilty.of love
Bruce forsythe
What's the point you can't play any of the songs FFS
You can hear the songs anywhere on You Tube. The point of this thread is to hear the voice of Terry Wogan.
