It is difficult to obtain a driver's license in Sweden. If you have ever driven a car in the US, Canada , Australia, India or any other countries before, don't think that just because you have done so before you will be able to pass the test. It is important not to rush it but plan ahead for several months and accept that they want Swedish drivers to drive in a certain way if you want to get on with them. It's possible that you will fail at the first few attempts, but don't give up, just keep trying! Drivers license test in Sweden has several steps so it will take time to complete.
It is first necessary to have a körkortstillstnd, a driver's license permit. To get the permit, you must have your eyes examined. Now its digital so ask the eye examiner to send the document directly to transpotstyrelsen (STR), fill out a health declaration, you can do it online a much easier process, and pay your fees. You can get it by approximately 2 weeks time. If you dont call them and ask. Its a easy process to apply to get the drivers license permit. Its Valid for 5 years. You can renew your permit after five years if you've not yet acquired your license.

Thats a super good questions Janeth. Its really dependent on the visibility and traffic situation. If the traffic situation demands then definitely slow down. But if its clear and visibility is good , you can see all the side then no need to slow down. However majority of time you have to adopt your speed according to the situations.
