Hi, thank you so much for doing what you are doing it really helps a lot and I’m glad I found your channel right before my exam, i know you already have a couple route videos in väsby and you did the test in Sollentuna not väsby but yet I was sondering if there is any possibility to make the same exact video for väsby or just add your voice to the videos and explaining everything you do and why just as you are doing in this video. Thank you in advance and keep up with the good work👏🏽
so lucky that you have driving test on the road where you knew about. they took me to the road where i never there before so i was too nervous and fail for the first attempt 😢
Yeah was lucky in that way but at the same time I was also prepared for the worst case scenario :) The main cause of nervousness is to treat it like an exam and the desire to pass at any cost :) In your next attempt just think of it as a regular driving class and dont worry about passing or failing just relax and give your best!! Btw I was chewing a chewing gum during my exam, it really helped me to distract and relax Find something that helps your relax, could be music, mobile game etc and do that before exam it might help :) Good luck 👍
Hi Chriu, @12:25 when you were taking left turn to Djupdalsvagen, you crossed Pedestrian crossing and stopped is it allowed to do that or we should stop before pedestrian crossing and wait for all the oncoming cars to pass.? Imagine if vehicle from left coming from a priority road wanted to turn left are we obstructing the way for them.
In this specific scenario, if you wait before pedestrian crossing to turn left, you will be obstructing vehicles behind you that want to go straight ahead, it might cause long queue if you are waiting for long. So, better option is to cross the pedestrian crossing and wait and give way go vehicles behind me and since there is no left turn for oncoming vehicles, its perfectly alright but if there was a left turn, then you have keep some distance for them while you are waiting to take left If none of this is possible due to to no space etc, then better to wait before pedestrian crossing and if possible keep some gap for vehicles to cross you from behind
hi, at 13:59 you said that the right hand rules apply, but there is a give way sign on the right side of the road. In that case isn't that they have to give way to you? Please clarify my confusion. Thanks
Hi, Thanks for pointing out, yes you are right, right hand rule doesnt apply, unfortunately i could correct it in this video. It has been corrected in this video: th-cam.com/video/Sy5Qn_Kf1BI/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
Yea there is a täby exit at 05:19 check the roundabout signs before entering the roundabout and at 10:13 also there is a right exit that goes to Rotebro handelplats
14:48 you mention something L backing.. after doing you parked the car what's that mean.. inspector ask you to park?? What's L banking is it a parking vocabulary.. if so what are the other parking types inspecter can ask to do us.. also you mentioning U turn..
Inspector will only ask you to u-turn, you have to do it the best possible way. Ideally i would have reversed around right corner but since there was no right then the most efficient way was to turn left and reverse around the right corner
This playlist is very helpful, I'm preparing for my driving test and I appreciate the valuable tips you have in this channel, thank you!!! I have one question, can you take the driving test (practical exam) in English?
Hi, Thanks for your appreciation! There is no official choice of language for practical exam but most of the examiners do speak in english especially in Stockholm. You can clearly mention that before your exam starts. Good luck 👍
@Körkot in English very information video . I 've a one more question which would you recommend Järfalla traffic school or Sollentuna for the practical driving test ? What if someone forgets the route or does not know the route to Arlanda in that case does the instructor guide the candidate ?
Thanks! I think any one would do. I preferred Sollentuna cz I live here and was familiar with the roads etc. Just pick any center you want, there is a fbook group Körkort stories, search with the exam location and you will find posts of people sharing their test route. Read all the posts and write down different routes and practice there/ or use google street view to get idea about speeds, roundabouts etc Yes i agree that its not possible to remember all the routes but atleast if you have an idea of the highway/ priority roads/ country roads and speed limits in your exam location, it helps. Atleast you have one less thing to worry about. You can focus on driving safely, checking your speed, blindspot checking etc.
You mentioned your mistake at a lane merge after exiting a roundabout. What happens if you have accelerated to merge in to the next lane and then you have a number of vehicles coming on that lane and you could not join that lane in time? How to handle it?
If there is no scope for you to enter, then you should slowdown or stop if needed Since, you will be indicating, most likely someone will slow down and allow you to enter. Since in this scenario, mutual consideration applies Even in acceleration lane, if there is huge traffic, then you should go with traffic flow, no need to accelerate
Check this video Safety Checks and Car choice for Exam-Körkort,Förarprov,teoriprov, körprov,Sweden Driving Licence th-cam.com/video/Ghc9LPx7H0A/w-d-xo.html
Usually driving school cars are a bit old and the ones at trafikverket are modern. Also if you end up with electric car at trafikverket then you will definitely feel the difference in acceleration. Most modern car accelerate very quickly compared to regular driving school cars. If you dont have any issues with overspeeding/ hard braking etc then you can choose trafikverket car. They almost feel like brand new :) During exam if you very tensed, you might overspeed or hard brake and the modern cars will make it more worse If you have a chance, then ask your driving school/ private teacher to take a class or two in a different car, preferable modern and see how you feel and drive. If it doesnt make any difference then you can choose the trafikverket car. But if you feel any difference and it bothers you then better to go with your driving school car that you are accustomed with. In my case I had driven on 3 cars from driving school/private instructor and i could adapt with all of them, so went with trafikverket car :) Hope this helps and good luck 👍
In any roundabout, you need to indicate right before exit, it doesnt matter which lane you are in. The reason is in a round about, there is only one direction of traffic flow i.e.. anticlocwise, so basically you are going left, so if you inficate right it means, you dont want to continue anticlockwise and you will exit
Yes they may fail you for creating obstruction to traffic. Safety and not creating unnecessary obstruction to traffic are of utmost priority If you have a valid reason for driving slow like based on traffic flow etc, its fine but if the road is vacant and you drive slow, it could lead to failure sometimes. Try to read the traffic situation and adapt accordingly
Welcome! Yes exactly, there are three-four driving tests route possibilities in Sollentuna. 1. E4 Arlanda - Rotebro 2. 265 Täby-hagby- krkby 3. 262 Danderyds-Stockholm- Helenelund There is a facebook group Körkort stories where people share their driving test exam route, i searched for Sollentuna and checked all the posts and found all the possible routes :) Also you can ask your driving instructor about the driving track he/she will be mostly aware of it.
My exam day is next Monday. At this point I am not sure I am ready and very stressful about the test. I am following a private instructor . Do you think it is better to sign up for driving school ?
Don’t get stressed, just treat your exam as another regular driving class. The worst that could happen is failing thats all but try to give your best and always learn from mistakes and try not to repeat them. If you get a chance, try to take a mock test from school or ask your private instructor to take it like an examiner and see that you don’t make any major mistakes. If the mistakes are small and few then give it a try but major mistakes and many then better to focus on correcting them. Only you can decide for yourself we can only give suggestions :)
For manual car i dont have full clarity but as i heard, they even look for correct gear in all circumstances so might be tougher than automatic. If you are looking for manual car, first you can try getting automatic car licence then get used to the car driving here then go for manual.
Thanks for very useful videos. It would have been nice if you had recorded normal video of yourself instead of mirror video as it is confusing to understand in which mirror you are looking at. Really appreciate your effort. Also, it would be great if you record other videos with your face or record videos with head camera so that we know where exactly you look while lane changing and turning.
Hey, the video was good & quiet informative. But I have a suggestion, pls don't mention to follow speed limits since it is the exam day, many people will watch your video. We should follow the rules while driving irrespective of it is a test or a regular day. Just a suggestion, your videos are v helpful. Thanks.
Hi, Thanks for your suggestion, will take care of it in my next videos! :) My only reason to mention was to keep an eye on the speed all the time. Usually if we cross the speed limit, it will lead to failure in exam :) But i guess it got conveyed wrongly :)

It has been corrected in this video:

Great video! was there a parking camera in the Trafikverket car?
Yes, if it’s a modern car. But they expect you not to check it :)
Is that an exit at 5:19, 10:13? Confusing.

Can you also get the speed from the centre line? I think i read that somewhere.
@Blessed69666 yes speed can be determined my center line also
1:3 ratio between lines and spaces : 70kmph
1:1 ratio between lines and spaces: 50kmph

Yes, the instructor knew English
@@korkortinenglish Cool, thanks for the videos by the way. They are definitely helpful.
@Xendrius welcome :)
What is the name of the car?, would you recommend Eskilstuna to do driving test

Hej, Did the examineer let you do something before you start driving? Like checking the tires, oil, etc..
Yes, he asked me to switch on the rear vipers
Why did you indicate to right before the round about when you were already in the right lane?
In any roundabout, you need to indicate right before exit, it doesnt matter which lane you are in.

Yes they may fail you for creating obstruction to traffic.

If you have a valid reason for driving slow like based on traffic flow etc, its fine but if the road is vacant and you drive slow, it could lead to failure sometimes. Try to read the traffic situation and adapt accordingly
very helpful, thanks for the video. Why did you know most of the road’s speed ? Is this the most common driving test route in Sollentuna?
Welcome!
Yes exactly, there are three-four driving tests route possibilities in Sollentuna.

At what time slot did you give your exam?
It was during summer and morning slot.
I would suggest to choose between 10:00 - 15:00 as traffic will be less
