Boondocking is really the best way to camp when you can find the public land to do so. Look forward to your boondocking 101 video! Take care and safe travels. Dave.
We agree with you 100%! It is much harder to find places on the east coast, but our west it's endless opportunity! Going back to a campground was tough! Thanks for watching!
I feel like you guys are on a safari tour!!!!!!! I can’t believe all those animals chasing each other around! We love our coyote friend who visits our back yard.
Right!!! The animals out there could care less if you're around. They were right there and didn't phase them. We saw so many beautiful animals! The wildlife and scenery was absolutely amazing for sure! Did you name your Coyote?
Oh how beautiful. Not just the area but the wild life, the backdrop of the mountains and that sky. Amazing. Your trips take me places I'd never get to. How sensible to have internet access 'out in the middle of nowhere". So important in case of emergencies. That lake is a gorgeous blue. That is a dream spot...with those trees and that lake. What a lovely video. Thank you for the drive. So enjoyable. 👍🇳🇿🙋♀🇳🇱🙏 Happy and safe travels.
So glad you enjoyed visiting with us! I agree, everything about this place was amazing.. magical! The water color looked almost fake and the animals running around and the mountain views were something straight out of a movie! I'm so very thankful to get to have this life as mine!! Thanks for watching!!
Some great tips and advice, guys. Wyoming looks like an amazingly stunning place to visit. The water in the lake is incredibly blue and it was great to see the deer at the end. How wonderful to have a place virtually to yourselves. Great video! Happy travels and stay safe 💕
The midwest sure was wonderful to explore and I can't wait to see other states out that way. That lake water was unbelievable! Almost looked fake how blue it was! So fun fact, the animals at the end were antelope. An antelope is related to a goat. I never understood the difference until I saw them in person. They're one of my favorite animals now! Thanks for watching and for your wonderful comment!
Those views wow!!!!! That does sound crazy you have to drive through private property!! Awesome info! We can’t get enough of those views! Safe travels!
Hopefully we'll make it over to Wyoming at some point. It looks absolutely beautiful and so much wildlife. Thank you for the great advice - very good to know they are on private property!!
We love Pinedale. It and Lander are two of our favorite locations in Wyoming. We stayed at a National Forest Campground. I am trying to remember the campground, but it has just slipped my mind completely. Quite the herd of antelope. I remember the cows being in the road on the way to the campground. That's awesome to have a great signal. We had absolutely no signal when we were in Wyoming. I ended up spending 2 hours at the public library trying to load a video. 😂😂
The wildlife out there was amazing for sure! I'm still dreaming of being back! We love our internet setup! We very rarely find somewhere we can't pick up signal!
Amazing family. Thanks for sharing with us this amazing place, your tips and advice. Happy, blissful, good health and full of abundance New Year 2023 to you and everyone.
So excited to have found y’all! My kids actually spotted y’all at the campground you’re currently at, at least as of yesterday. They want to say hi, but will probably be too shy if they see y’all out and about. Haha! I’m loving y’all’s videos!
Awww what a sweet message! 😀 We are glad you found us too! Tell your kiddos we won't bite, so to say hi! We are taking off Saturday, so will be around a little longer, and likely taking advantage of this beautiful weather outside! So glad you're enjoying the videos! I've been slacking with them since we've been here!
@@NomadicTrio it’s such a beautiful place! I’m sure it’s nice to just be in the moment and enjoy! Time for editing will come:) Safe and happy travels for the next adventure!
Our family has done a ton of camping, but generally in national parks. I've not heard of the term boondocking. What distinguishes boondocking from regular camping, is it just the remote locations, or is there something else that defines it. Wyoming is so gorgeous! My husband used to be a wilderness guide near Jackson Hole. I would love to have the link for the Rebel router.
Hey there! Boondocking is having no hookups (water, electric, sewer). You bring your own and are in the middle of nowhere usually and not in a campground. The router we use is the Titan and you can see it if you go to otrmobile.com Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video - we are headed that way from TN in June. What time of year were you there? And what are you using now that FreeRoam isn't an option?
We were in Wyoming July through October! We hope you enjoy it! Will it be your first time? My husband is from WY, but it was my first true experience exploring it and I didn't want to leave! Such beautiful country! We haven't done much boondocking this year yet, so haven't decided what we will use to find the areas now.
For future reference, those are bear boxes, not trash cans🥰 U pack out what you pack in! I really hate when we get somewhere and someone has left their trash in a bear box🤬
Thanks! We had figured it out eventually! Some places we've been boondocking give you trash cans, while some follow the pack out what you pack in rule. We hadn't seen ones like that, so it threw us off at first. We have sadly come across way too many places where people scatter their trash everywhere and it makes me sad at the lack of respect. Thanks for watching!

This area is actually checker board blm, national forest, wildlife management area, and private land. Ther are no state parks around Pinedale unfortunately. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Getting to see the wildlife up close and personal is so neat! What a great experience.

Wow! Excellent views. Free roam sounds like a great resource. Great Q&A! I love all the animals and things you get to see.

I had no idea there were boon docking rules. I love the little buccee that is hanging from the roof :)
