The Grey Wisp reminds me of the Rock Pikmin from Pikmin 3. I can't wait for this game, and it better not be another pin to stick into the hedgehog's reputation, if you follow.
In case you didn't know: The game's already listed in the eShop and the gist of the story is explained there. It says the DeadlySix gang up against Dr. Eggman and you have to find the 'Mysterious Hexaglobe' (I translated it - final name may differ) in order to be able to fight against 'em. Hexaglobe most likely divided into pieces.
I'm predicting that this will be the best sonic game yet cuz it looks like they perfected the formula this time. A good mix of both combat and high speed running.
I just wanted to point out two things. In the snowboarding section, Sonic had to press B to land larger air time, similar to We Ski. Also, the Red Wisp was shown in a 3D section, whereas Colors DS and Generations 3DS were both exclusively 2D.
The green rails are faster than the gray ones. If you look closely, it's bright green with a darker green arrow pointing forward to signify speed. Also, the grinding animation differs slightly: Sonic has his left hand in a fist on the green, and open on the gray.
I was skeptical at first but this actually looks good especially on the 3ds. Now if like to see them make a game like this with shadow and the other characters
I think those green rails may give sonic a speed boost. Did you notice the dark green arrows on the rails themselves? And how sonic went from being motionless in the air after destroying the mine cart to going fast on the rail (0:52)?
i know why the rails are green because when you pause at sonic riding the green rails you see the arrows pointing the way sonic is going.It can mean that makes sonic go faster or some type of speed boost
In the clip where you talked about the minecarts changing direction, I think they were still going the same way. They just looked like they were going backwards because at that moment, sonic landed on the rail and was going faster than the minecart.
I think the reason the cart moved backwards is because it cannot touch the spring or fall of the track. If you look at that gameplay you see there is a spring at the end of the track so mabey the minecrats just move back to avoid touching them. As for the green rails i thought they might make you faster or it is telling you shortcuts as in one part sonic jumped onto a green rail with a spring which made him bounce ahead.
I think that the personality of each deadly six depends on the zones of each world. for example, the desert ruins zone 3 is where the sweets and delicious food are, so i think because of that, zomom (the fat big yellow one of deadly six) will be the boss fight in that world.
about that snowboarding level. In Ice Cap Zone from Sonic Adventure when you jump off a ramp to do a trick it allows you to go higher and reach places that would have been better to go to. Could this be returning in Sonic Lost World?
Hey GameXplain, there was one thing you kind of missed though in Frozen Factory for 3DS there were wooden mallets connected to string at some points of each end of the stage meaning sonic can't go upside down as opposed to the Wii U version of Like for example, Windy Hill Zone

I noticed in the close up of Sonic grinding on the green rail, you can barely see what looks like the green rails falling. Could they be one use rails?
Perhaps the Deadly Six are Zeti, and the term is used as their race as a whole, or anything from their home world. Like how we have cats as a race, but there are house cats and lions part of it. Maybe the same applies here. And the yeti bit...I dunno. I saw that too, but the only thing I can think of is maybe that's a subtle hint from SEGA that they've been on Mobius a long time, it's just that no one's seen them.

Sega stated that if the fans love the Deadly Six, then they will be back. Like with some of the others that were at first just a one time appearance.
