A second listen = huge compliment to any author! Thanks, Foxiepaws!! And I agree about making it into a movie: if anyone from @Netflix is interested, they now know where to reach me, ha ha. 😉
If these are anything like Sorcery for a Stony Heart, I will love it. Again, great narrator Kevan. Oh brilliant Swaine is in this. I like him he's like a much darker, historical Alex Versus...I think I like him better too! Lol I come from Grampian region as it used to be called...notorious thing called the Devils Ring by my family home! I'm not saying if its true we're a tad witchy ourselves! It all goes back to me rescuing a crow whose family had been shot out of a tree. He bonded with me but only lived 5 years (they can live much much longer). He came everywhere with me either on my shoulder or down the front of my jumper if it wasnt somewhere crows were welcomed. We used to travel between the village I lived and Aberdeen on the bus and the driver knew Pookie was with me lol...nobody else did and he used to crow at things out the window much to the hilarity of the driver because all the other passengers would be looking around going WTF? lol...did wonders for the witchy reputation! Brilliant characters again and excellent descriptive writing! Its brilliant!
Sorry for the delayed response, I just saw this amazing comment! Walking around with a crow on one's shoulder is without question a Finch-approved way to go!! (Swaine might have a thing or two to say, but when doesn't he?) ✨
Close. It goes: Magic of Unkindness, Grave Raven, Halls of Midnight (which make up the first trilogy 📚), then The Governor's Witch is the start of the second trilogy 📖 (and takes place 4 years after the original trilogy.) Hope I didn't make it too confusing!
I enjoyed how it's the man who dispells the prejudices against witches and women. More so, because it doesn t stem from a sympathy for women's plight. Swaine is equitable in his indifference to others. His '' feminism'' comes as a by product of his general views on the world. From his cartesien approach. I gives even more credit to feminism.

Thank you i enjoyed another book you wrote
You're welcome, Ed! Good to hear you read one - and then came back for more 👀
Thank you. You are a excellent author. So far I've liked all. 😉❤😊😄😄👍
I'm glad you like it, Barb!
@@kevandale And I'm glad you write them. I'm listening to another now. ❤
Someone tell this guy he is a necromancer. A demonic summoner. He is like '' i m not a witch. No i m not a magician. I m an artist'' hhh what a diva
So the series goes
The governors witch
The magic of kindness
The halls of midnight
Right? Or did I get it wrong

Thanks for putting down the proper order. By the way the prequel novellas were food as well.

Sir who gave you the right to write such *seasoned books*
Thanks, Achal! (They started out pretty unseasoned & raw, tbh. I worked with great editors!)
