Old Town & Fun Spot Kissimmee Vlog September 2018

- Join us as we head to Old Town located in Kissimmee, Florida for a night of thrills on some of the best rides in the area. We experience both the Sling Shot and Vomatron at Old Town including on ride POV's from both of these thrilling attractions.
Following that we then visit Fun Spot Kissimmee to experience Mine Blower, a wooden roller coaster with steel supports that opened last year. We share our full review from this fantastic roller coaster that should not be missed on a visit to Orlando!

Mine blower is so much faster than you'd expect. i loved it!
Mine Blower really is an amazing coaster. It has a great mix of elements and g’s, with a great double down, overbanked turn and a couple of 90 degree banks, along with an underrated first drop. Great vlog, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I just got back from there a few weeks ago. Found this place on accident after doing disney/ universal for a few days. And we had a blast at oldtown.

I love this ride. I was in Florida for a whole week recently and I couldn't get over how crazy this thing is. I rode this thing 20 times one night its so wild and out of control. I think its my favorite coaster in Florida currently. Something about an aggressive wooden coaster like that is so great!.

Nice! The vomatron and slingshot are the same models as the ones located on Surfers Paradise, Australia. I believe funtime is the manufacturer of these models.

Omg i love old town, my fave place in orlando, there is a great sea food place called red lobster just and bit further down from old town love it 😂

I had to read that twice. I was like, RED LOBSTER! Why is this person making it out to be a rarity or as if it's the only one. Or at least a Nobu! LOL! Maybe a person from a different country? Honestly, I mean nothing by this. It's was just a surprising thing to see in the comments section!

I went to old town fun spot back in 2015 and walked back to our villa took ages to get back good amusement park love to go back

I thought Hulk was your favourite coaster in Florida; did Mako grow on you a lot, as I remember you not being a huge fan when it first opened? I've always loved it; still my number 1 coaster out of 56 ridden!

I go to old town alot I've ate at that checkers before if you go into old town to near the magic shop they have the shocking chair man animatronic

Interesting... I rode Mine Blower yesterday and I thought it was rough as nails and horrible. Maybe it was the 102F / 39C heat in the sun or the trains running only half capacity due to covid for a few weeks now but I was not a fan. White Lightning was amazing though!

I did the much taller one on I drive in Orlando it was sooooo cool
I don't know if you've ridden this lately but it has become insanely rough. It's too bad because it really is a great coaster but when I rode it in September it was too rough for me to enjoy anymore. It was an empty train and some people have told me it's not as bad on a full train, but it's really sad that a modern coaster can get this rough in such a short time.

it's odd they didn't let you film, if you search the coaster on YT lots of on ride videos show up so at least viewers can look it up elsewhere it's just a shame you weren't allowed!

It was rough in places but very intense!
I was there and I went in mind blower the white one and I went up and the people that took their phone on they were smashed

@@danielledewitt1 Nah its a good park, it just needs more renovations. If you're at Disney you'll likely enjoy the other parks more however, as currently epcot is the weakest Park.
@@danielledewitt1 Epcot is definitely a unique park, but it has good experiences nonetheless. Personally I prefer it to magic Kingdom.
Fastpass works if you plan carefully and use all 3 choices per day on attractions you actually want to do.
The staff aren't bossing you around, it was your choice to make those fastpass reservations therefore you can either delete them or use them - staff can't change that system.
It's a shame you didn't have a great holiday though :(
@@danielledewitt1 Did you ask staff for what to ride then? You don't have to do what they say but I don't blame you for taking their recommendations. Sucks that you didn't like epcot, did you like the other parks?
@@danielledewitt1 ah that sucks, at least you liked typhoon lagoon. They have to close rides in a thunderstorm as it could be fatal for guests.. So they just care about safety.

I thought you were joking about the name “vomatron”, like it was a nickname, until you showed the sign. Hahaha.. at 70MPH, it’s more like the “Projectile Vomatron”.
The billboard advertisement for the ride can be subtitled, “Hurl as you whirl”
I found mine blower very rough and jittery more so than any other wooden coaster I’ve ridden it was so rough it gave me a headache after riding. I don’t know why
It is quite rough but very intense and good fun!
