- In this vlog I head to Fun Spot Kissimmee located in Old Town, Florida! Join me as I share on ride POV's from all of the major rides at the park including Mine Blower, a hybrid coaster that features an impressive barrel roll over the station. Along with that I ride on Hurricane for the first time and soak up the awesome vibes of Old Town!

I rode Mine Blower in 2019 and found only the last turn to be rough. It is sad that it is now in this condition. I think it is a great candidate for RMC topper track or GCI titan track if possible, because it is a great layout.
Unfortunately so. It’s such a great layout too, so hopefully it’ll get the work it needs!

Trust me, it has. In the last 2 years it has gone from a little rough to borderline unbearable.
Unfortunately so, it’s such a great layout too which is a shame!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide it's now receiving RMC's new 208 ReTrak tech, hopefully will be a much better ride for it. Already closed for the work as well!

My family and i went to old town and Funspot back in 2014.
I do believe that hurrican coaster used to have been called windstorm. Rode it so many times. It was my favorite.

It’s always a good laugh at Fun Spot!
As much as a retrack would help Mine Blower, I think it needs new trains as well. On intense coasters once the track gets a slight bit rough timberliners shuffle and rattle through the layout super badly.
That would certainly help!
Would love to see a Brett European tour in a similar vein to the American tour you guys did. Then he can mock the best coasters on this side of the pond, like you did to Mystic Timbers and Diamondback (Still such a funny vlog).
It would be a great trip! Hopefully he’ll be able to make a trip over to Europe again soon!

Loved spending a night at fun spot. Great atmosphere I thought and not overwhelming with crowd levels which when you have been at theme parks during day is a relief! Great bonus vlog

I remember before fun spot really took over that area, old town was great and I used to marathon the spinning coaster. Haven’t been since early 2017

MY FAVORITE SPOT TO GO TO AFTER 930!!! LOVE FUN SPOT AND OLD TOWN. we have been a few times now. Mine blower is great. Hurricane is fun!!!

It’s such a great place to visit!
That spinning ride looks like the same layout as Primeval Whirl, which had 2 tracks.
So in other words, within a roughly 3-mile radius circle, there were 3 copies of the exact same spinning ride. No wonder Disney closed theirs down!
It really doesn’t surprise me that Disney closed it!
Love old town stayed there on more than one occasion has grown over the years
Was gonna come here after my flight to MCO but I didnt have time as I had a dinner reservation at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Kinda wish I would've tried Mine Blower as it looks right up my ally but ill just get it with SeaWorld next time i come in July. Great seeing this vlog as it lets me know what to do when I visit!

I went on the mine blower in it's opening year and really loved the coaster now went on it a couple weeks ago and it's awful definitely need work doing on it ASAP

Made me chuckle when the seat sponge came off 😀😀😀. Very sad to hear that a 14 year old boy died on the 430 ft drop tower 😢. I was thinking you were only on it a few weeks ago . Man i think on galaxy spin i went on with my niece and brother in law and we all sat together leaving the outside seat unfilled, honestly felt i was going to throw up it spun so much and so fast lol
Nice bonus vlog!! Might check this place out next year as I'll be staying in Kissimee...bit pricey though. Hurricane seems like a really solid coaster.

Mine Blower coaster looks amazing what a ride. However if it’s riding rough then not good. Perhaps a re-track would be of benefit but otherwise it’s such a shame because that looks awesome. Love the other little coasters like Hurricane there too, although they look whipper snappers. To be honest I never knew this park existed despite visiting Florida several times over the last twenty years or so. Nice vlog Shawn 👍

I remember coming here as a kid and watching the drag racing cars next to the sky swing. I think it was $30 per car back then!

This vlog with Shawn’s riding witty funny riding experience inuendos proper cracked Me up with how many of Shawn’s let’s go,’s OH MY Gods? Wooohooo hahahahaha’ s Airtime, Rättles, Rock Me like a hurricane on the blue rollercoaster, before that the Galaxy Spin that looks such an awesome ride with epic thrill seeking spinners whilst Shawn was mentioning about the cool whipper snappers as Shawn’s accidental ride rubber foam cover fell off lol that was funny however the first rollercoaster was more hilarious 😂😆 😆 for poor Shawn’s unexpected ride on that intense rattle shaking rollercoaster from first tall drop into a conversion roll, blimey Shawn your such a real proper entertainer aren’t you matey multitasking riding Talking to us viewers and Brett at the same time, awesome vlog Shawn its so nice to see that there’s more little querky fun parks than just the most Common larger Theme parks in Florida, SHAWN! No seriously I thoroughly enjoy watching your vlogs as always, such a real shame about that first rollercoaster being a brutal body pounding ride, in terms of design ride layoutwise itself looks really exciting ay, The park looks incredible with a lot of colourful theming facades food outlets some nice rides as well to enjoy apart from the first lift tail on the junior coaster for Brett with a proper shaker then his last ride on the brutal coaster poor Brett hope he’s ok 👌🏻 bless him, It would be amazing to see Brett join you on your next few U.K. European theme park vacations, it would be great to see some of our parks stay open till late wouldn’t it Shawn for some incredible night rides especially in the summer at sunset

I keep delaying Florida trips because they kept announcing new rides. I think eventually I just need to go. Especially since I live in America and Shawn gets around the country more than I do. 🤣

Looks like a decent little park if you’ve got a spare evening. I’d never pay the full daytime price though. Thought Mindblower looked great; such a shame it’s too rough to really enjoy. Appreciate the bonus content Shawn.

The Atlanta park makes more money than the Florida parks management told Me that 2 years ago that always have tons of birthday parties and alot of us locals go just to drive the race cars

I remember me and my dad in August being so excited to do mindblower and got off regretting life dessicions. Apparently it used to be so smooth sad to see fun spot let it die :(

I love the Fun Spot parks! I have a season pass I paid $80 and have more than gotten my money's worth. You get three bring a friend months and 20% off of food. I've spent several hours at each park and think even for $50-60, still not a bad deal. I prefer the Orlando park overall.

Luckily it was only the padding on the restraint and nothing more
Mineblower has gotten rougher by the year. I know because we ride it a couple times a year over the last 5 years and it has gotten REALLY rough in the last couple years. They really need to do some track work, it sucks now.

It’s definitely quieter on Tuesday-Thursday however Friday shouldn’t be too bad!
I absolutely loved Mind Blower back in 2019. Packed a punch in such a small footprint. Shame. It does confuse me , so any help would be appreciated. The track reminded me of traditional wooden roller coasters and I noticed the supports were metal , I'm guessing steel. Is this correct?
Well, you are lucky to have ridden it in 2019, that is the last year it wasn't super rough.
It is indeed a hybrid, with a wooden track and steel support structure! Unfortunately the ride feels very rough now!

Hurricane is the ride that looks janky but it’s actually smooth and fun, and Mine Blower is the sketchy one. It makes me sad because in 2017 it was amazing, in 2019 it was a little rough but still fun, but now it’s not even worth it. I hope they can fix it because obviously there is something wrong with it - there are plenty of other GG coasters that are older and ride fine. It would be sad if they scrapped it entirely because it really put this park on the map.
It was ridding great! Hopefully Mine Blower gets some work done soon!

There’s no leaderboard for creds however I’m on just over 1250, however I do know a few people with even more!
