    Not okay! I was on a flight from Sydney to Dallas and this old man stood up to get his jumper out of the overhead as we were taxi-ing and next in line to take off. The cabin crew in front of him were yelling for him to sit down. The crew behind me in the aft galley did a PA for him to sit down. People around him yelled for him to sit down. He ignored everyone! Finally after he had retrieved his jumper and PUT IT ON, he sat back down. I turned to the FA behind me (I'm a BIG guy) and said "Oh my god, seriously, move me next to him, I will make sure he stays put!". Anyway, a little bit later when we were up in the air, the CSM came up and thanked me for my offer to help. I hadn't really mean't what I said, but kinda did...not that I expected them to take me up on the offer. But anyway...point is, if I'm on one of your flights and you ever need a ABP to make someone a DBP, you can count on me! Nobody lays a finger on our Francesco!

    Being nice and letting it go! That's his job and then you're rewarding bad behavior. Then next time she will tell the flight attendants "they let me last time." Then they will have to deal with it.

    Sam thinks happened to. Me in Phoenix , the cops were talking in the gate area, and a guy took a swing at me. He missed and I decked him in front of the cops. I said thanks for your help, straightened my uniform and left. They never said a word, it felt GOOD ,

    It’s actually criminal that this guy was allowed to get away with what he did that was a true “hate crime” based on his behaviors that I’m sure were also observed by others. Those behaviors are clearly reflective of his personal beliefs that drive his anger to act out like he did. And, trust me, if he’s done it once, he’s done it before - and gotten away with it, which again, is criminal. In spite of all of this, it’s good you told the story and bounced back to not allow him to have power over your emotional state for any longer than he did.

I’m a big believer of karma so even though he got away from the sheriffs I’m sure he got his pay back in one way or another! Keep on vlogging they are super fun!

    Dude thought that just because he is bigger than you that he can push you around, oh hell no. I mean, I wouldn't have gotten the police involved, but I would have reported him to the airline and gotten him blocked from flying with them again. In no way is what he did to you right. I hope that you never have to go through anything like this again, flight attendants have it rough enough. You don't need assholes like that making your job harder.

    hey buddy great job on your TH-cam channel! Keep up the beat work. Hey I'm an ex retired flight attendant for Alaska Airlines and I had deal with those types of rude passengers on many occasions
    . best way to Handel this when the aircraft arrives and shut he passenger is long gone you do have a manifest onboard of every passenger their seat number and their first and last name. That being said you should have pressed chargers anyways. That's what I have done many times.

    If it makes you feel better I had a passenger arrested when she assaulted me on the bus driving. I was lucky because there was an unmarked police car and they witnessed it so when I stopped the bus BAM they were on the bus and took her in. And she denied it but they said we were in front of the bus and saw everything. I got more stories of police coming to the rescue and could write a book.

    You should have covertly jammed the bathroom door so he'd be stuck in the bathroom for the entire flight. I once sat next to a guy (DEN - EWK) who was angry at the F.A because the flight was running late because they had to fix the AC. He was a total doosh ... when she came around with the food & beverage cart, he was still mad and said "NO!" to any concessions...what a jack#ss. I believe in Karma I am sure your Bully's payback will be sweet --middle seat and passenger neighbors with stinky feet, garlic sweat and BO - ideally on trans-con flight.

    I hate the nasty replies you get regarding this. I've been a Platinum member for years, and can say I have seen some nasty passengers along the way. No matter what, you don't deserve to be insulted with bigoted and hateful language, and you don't deserve to be shoved the way you were. I'm disappointed in AA for the lack of response to this matter. Did anything ever happen?

    In my opinion, you over-exaggerated the "assault" because you were mad that he called you a f*g. I hate that word too and I understand your anger. But to get someone arrested for calling you a name is kinda ridiculous. That doesn't normally happen in the average workplace. It seems more appropriate to me to have him blacklisted from the airline. PS - I also suspect the pilot did not contact the authorities until you were already on the ground because he/she didn't buy your assault story either but felt the need to follow protocol. That's why the cops were late to the gate.

  • @avnel3007
    @avnel3007 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    The only airline that I know of that flies direct from CLT-FLL and that is American Airlines, so I understand the airline has some shitty policies which put flight attendants in a bad position. Anyways, if the seats were empty I don't see the purpose of you chasing the lady to the back. You could have just politely told her "Ma'am, these seats are a bit more premier and therefore you have to pay for these, but because I see this flight was empty I will let it go, but please remember that other FA's may not allow that" because you only pay extra for legroom, you get absolutely nothing else in terms of service, it is not like she had sneaked into business class. The other passenger though was unruly, and I understand your intimidation, but then you brought this on yourself. Don't get me wrong, I am usually sympathetic towards flight attendants but your problem here (in this video) is nowhere close to what flight attendants from other parts of the world are faced with.

    @tcs9998 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Yeah but sometimes you just need let it go. If no one was sitting there and she wanted to be with her friend or family you could have just been nice and avoid unnecessary confrontation. I know there are rules but in this instance you could have made an exception. Every company does. That didn't gave her or him the right to assault you of course. But in my opinion flight attendants tend to over exaggerate experiences with their customers. So unless I dont know their version of the story this is just your version of the events and people here should take it as such.

    • @gilmon43
      @gilmon43 7 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      It's not about being nice and letting it go, it's about him doing his job. If people want special seats they need to pay for them like everyone else. This may come as a shock to a lot of people, but the rules do in fact apply to you.

    • @ethannguyen3672
      @ethannguyen3672 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      LP M. Okay. I don't think you understand the fact that those seats cost extra for a reason. Let's say I paid an additional $75 to sit in an EMS Seat on a JetBlue aircraft (using JetBlue because that's Francesco's old airline) and then this other random passenger decides to sit there without paying extra. That would not be fair to me since I had to pay extra but this person didn't. That's why there are rules. No exceptions. He was doing his job. If they wanted to sit there, they should've paid extra. End of story.

    • @c.k.1252

      Are you a pilot, LP M.?

    • @the_nichelangelo
      @the_nichelangelo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Let it go? Make exceptions? Would you have done so to for someone who was being plain rude and physically assaulted you at your workplace? What would you do then, if someone else comes up following that guy and says that "he didn't pay extra so I don't have to pay extra as well"?
      It only seems exaggerated because rude passengers think they're entitled to things that they don't pay for. Somehow some people lose their common sense when flying 35000 ft in the air.

    • @carloscantu5616
      @carloscantu5616 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No reason to let it go or bend the rules for passenger ! These are grown adults we are talking about here ! Just follow the orders and that's it the problem here is that customers really do think they can do whatever they want I see it everywhere I go shopping there's always that one disruptive customer that instead of behaving like adults they decide to act like children throwing tantrums and questioning the company's procedure/rules ! In this case those seat cost more if you want to sit there just pay ! And because some companies let it go is the reason we have so many entitled douchebags
