Firstly I’m from London and I’m shocked that you’ve not tried minced pies. There not made from meat, they have raisins inside of them

Minced pies are delicious. No meat. LOL. Delish. Food at Marks and Sparks is great. British candy is much nicer than in the US.
Looking gr8 in that tie is that the new AA look now .Its never sunny in London all the years I have gone there always rainy/cloudy n damp .

Mincemeat pie at holiday time !!! A total fave since my childhood !!! Pie stores only carry this time of year. A raisin pie is a close 2nd if you’re craving this flavor...some stuff missing but sorta close.
Love the vlog!! Mince tarts are filled with raisins.... some people like some don’t, I prefer warmed with a dollop of cream. It’s very popular there but also in New Zealand too lol

Mince meat is not meat. It’s chopped up seasoned candied fruits. Like fruit cake filling.

The reason I ask is because I'm an aviation enthusiast and I live in NE Georgia. Atlanta Airport is the best place to plane-spot.

A few tips regarding mince pies and mulled wine-mince pies are awesome warmed in the microwave served with plenty of double cream and mulled wine is delicious warmed up in a saucepan and drank in a big cup🎄As we say here in Wales, Nadolig Llawen! 🎄😊

Mince pies are very popular at Christmas in the UK. Synonymous with Christmas! Mulled wine needs warming and can have other bits added such as spices.

I live in Maine, where it starts getting dark at 4 or so in the winter. My mom is Canadian and always makes mincemeat pies for Christmas. I can't speak for other places, but Canadian mincemeat pies are usually made with venison.

We also stay at the same hotel. The rooms are so tiny, Japanese small but it’s a nice location. I love Hyde street.

The reason mincemeat is called meat is because that's exactly what it used to be: most often mutton, rabbit, pork or game. Mincemeat originally came about as a good way of preserving meat without salting, curing, smoking or drying it. But nowadays mincemeat is a sweet pie filled with a mixture of dried fruits and spices called mincemeat. Warm the pie and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

There is a Scottish tradition that between Christmas and Hogmanay (New Year), you should always eat mincemeat pies in total silence (no conversation) to bring good luck.

Love the bow tie! Is that just an international leg thing? I just flew domestically and didn't see bow ties on the guys. Also, the USA should stop handing out plastic bags! I know a lot of cities ban them, but all should! I bring my own bags. 😁 House looks cute too! 👍🎄

That bathroom is really good - I have stayed in many hotels, including quite a few in the USA, which have huge rooms and enormous bathrooms but still can’t manage to provide a bath tub. It shouldn’t really be called a bathroom in that case - technically, it is only a shower room.

I'm from New Zealand, mince pies here have actual mince in them. We have steak and mince pies, bacon and egg pies... the list is endless
