these guys are local to me but I don't know them.. wish I did they are a couple of great guys... I've watched all there vids twice over luv these guys and there set up... hope they keep us entertained 👍
Nothing wrong at all asking for a discount, way of the world. It is nice to follow a vehicle repairer who shows honesty and integrity to the vehicle he repairs and to those people who later purchase the cars. You two are good guys to know.
Dunno about anyone else , but I watch your vids because of your banter and seeing you guys working together , so for me the long vid sets are just great . The only tips I get from you is the tip to get professionals to do the work Great videos mate , thoroughly enjoyable to see 2 great guys having fun at work , long may it continue 😀
It's madness that this car has sat so long, yet when its given to the right people who know what they're doing it'll be fixed in no time, can't wait to see the numbers ont this one.
It's not always that simple if somethings that new to find used parts or new stuff at prices guys want to spend for a good profit. it's exactly the same with machines i work on, there is no used available or its commonly damaged like what you've already got. or some stupid part thats only available new at that time from the dealer is $5000 and all your profit gone. But wait a year there are more used parts around with accident or fire damage a salvage part can be got from. Those machines or vehicles then become a whole lot easier and cheaper to fix and still sell for a good profit. lots of guys jumping on the youtube first to restore a new model year pick up or car, find this out the hard way to with that unexpected part price .
@@super6954 I hadn't thought of it that way and having read your explanation it's so obvious. I've had friends who own newer cars say to me dealer only part and the costs, I should have thought of that before writing what I did. Makes sense why it sat for so long.
What a great little video of the update on the fiesta, an honest man Rob good on you, I am sure there are some out there who are not and that's why your channel has so many of us following you. Cheers guys.
Like that you swap the dash over, see too many glue it 'repairs' and I'm not convinced they would work like they were designed by doing that. Well done Rob.
Lee Bengough makes me wonder how that Russian bloke Arthur can sleep at night after he welded 2 half’s of a BMW together like a proper cut and shut and other repairs he’s done some look alright but a lot ain’t. Somethings just can’t be safe at all once repaired like that but I am glad rob understands what can and can’t be done with accident repairs and the risk involved if it isn’t done right. So hats of to Rob for spending out time and money on new dashes and whatnot to make sure everything will behave how it should in the event of another accident.
Good to see you took my advice on the bonnet and wing great when us traders help each other out as sed I do paint body repairs mechanical recovery myself great content as usual 👍👍🔥🔥🏴🏴
Well done mate good to see someone helping out, sometimes that bit of info opens up a whole new regime on how to purchase parts plus if you sat genuine oem parts then its sells quicker and the price is better, top bit of help
Morning Rob. Your such a genuine person. I couldn’t sleep at night if I don’t fix that dash properly 😄 This is the best honest repair video on TH-cam as it’s 100% 😄 Take care keep safe until the next one cheers Stevie 😎
Hi Rob, nice to see safety and concionce first mate, no bodging with you guys, what a result for both you and new owner this will be, it's literally a new car. Looking forward to update. Cheers, Alex.
Long story short I thought I had lost the handbook for my 2018 focus not realising there was a shelf in the top of the glove compartment , had to check the shelf after watching your video and there it was Thank you !
Just what the Doctor ordered. Interesting video with great info on the build. This one is turning out to be a good un. And here was you Rob thinking that people might get cheesed off with another Fiesta build. As I said before, every vehicle you do will throw up it's own set of unique problems which is gonna make what you do stay interesting. Winning formula Rob n Chris!😃👍
Great little video Rob, nice to see a honest guy at work, safety before profit 👍👌, please do a video when you do the airbags and seat belts, never seen it done , would be interesting to watch, well done 👍👍👍.
Fiestas are good city and everyday cars, so whoever gets this one should be over the moon with it, because it will be done properly so every confidence as usual.
Cracking bloke, cracking videos, cracking content, never seen a bad video from you mate, honest and down to earth & go into detail about everything! Top bloke you and Chris are worth your weight in gold! 👌🏼💯
What a good little update on the Fiesta, sometimes the unplanned things in life work out better than the planned things. I am really looking forward to another video on this one. Cheers Rob.
Rob,...........I don't think i'm Alone in Thanking you for doing these Videos despite the Fact that you are Busy, they are really interesting and Show us Non-Professionals what can really be achieved to bring a Vehicle back from Zero to Hero, it's like Wheeler Dealers, (Ed China Version) only Better.
Rob,I am no bodywork person but find your videos interesting and informative and will look forward to seeing the airbag kit fitted and the finished car as well,sounds like you have a bargain on your hands.
Thanks for the update, it's nice to see more behind the scenes with some of what goes on getting the finished car. To be honest that dealer/used and non genuine parts prices is what i find with tractors, you've got to do your research the main dealer can be way cheaper sometimes. Ebay and Amazon aren't always cheaper either with "free shipping' like people think. Here in Canada at one point I was buying certain tractor parts in the U.S because they were way cheaper even with a $ conversion and shipping. One day a guy phoned while my friend was here wanting the company number i used in the states for cheap parts. He told me what he wanted and I gave the number. My buddy said that's cost you business, I said nope he always phones for free advice I never fix anything for him and he's had about $50 of parts in 5 years. The catch was i know what he wanted was $500 cheaper in Canada as I bought those parts here instead. The guy thought he was smart, paybacks fun some days. My friend just laughed when he finally clued in to what just happened. I had a school friend like you 34 years ago when i was 12 , as my mum would say he's got one of those cheeky faces where he'd smile while she was giving him a bollocking for something and she'd forget why she was mad, like the wallpaper paste fight we had while making a paper machete model in the garden one afternoon ! I think in your case she'd say that cheeky face gets you cheap stuff L.O.L. looking forward to more on Chris's truck . Take care guys
Looking good Rob, just that dash airbag quite costly, no doubt it will be mint when you and Chris finish it, and you guys get a well earned wedge from it
Rob it’s great to see a good honest man that doesn’t put profit before safety. Keep up the great work and videos.
@John Hill perfectly put 👍
these guys are local to me but I don't know them.. wish I did they are a couple of great guys... I've watched all there vids twice over luv these guys and there set up... hope they keep us entertained 👍
Very kind of you all thank you
@John Hill... absolutely John 👍
When I need a 2nd car for my wife, I would gladly consider anything these guys have worked on. Thoroughly enjoy their work, content and integrity.
I think you channel is great ...as your channel has a lot of different variety....which is the spice of life ...great lads
It’s lovely to see someone who’s passionate about their profession and who puts in the time but, more importantly the effort.

This is a nice project. It's going to cost a lot to fix but will be worth it. It's great to see a job being done well with no botch ups. Well done.
Keep up the good work like seeing you keeping people safe by doing the job right
There was a whole car in that boot guys😀, great to see you not taking risks with safety!
It's madness that this car has sat so long, yet when its given to the right people who know what they're doing it'll be fixed in no time, can't wait to see the numbers ont this one.
