Nothing hidden with Rob and Chris. Been watching them for years, everything genuine. No one gets ripped off. Cars always sold cheaper than expected. Great guys who just get along with each other. Both contribute to each video. Humour is a part of it too. I hope 2025 brings equal success to them. It’s 1 Jan now, I’m behind due to my handyman work but it means I can watch one of these anytime I have half hour. Always a highlight!
Nice profit !!! One factor in your favor is being able to wait out for parts and painting that the original owner can't afford.
I had one of these (I am from the USA) as a rental back in September out of Manchester Airport to travel in northern England and Scotland. I reserved a Clio or = from Avis with auto transmission. (I drove an Audi A3 in Ireland in May with stick, too much hassle to use stick for me especially in traffic). I guess for whatever reason, perhaps a deal from Renault, it was a hybrid. Got 15 miles per Liter (60 miles per US Gallon), it handled well, road well, I was quite pleased with it.

One minor insurance claim in 50 years of driving. This year my premium up 40% and it’s easy to see why. Brilliant work by the lads.
As a mechanic its something you need to do is keep the nuts and bolts in order i learnt from a old school mechanic years ago if you are doing a big job get a big bit of cardboard and put the bolts and nuts into it and write where it come from, and the nuts separate on a bit of paper and write what its from, and if its not a huge job just put them in order on the bench from start nuts and bolts on the left and finish on the right and then you now to always start on the right when putting stuff back together
You guys are the only salvage repairers I'd buy a vehicle from, excellent skill and attention to detail. You bring em for sale sorted and repaired to perfection 👌
Speaking personally, I don’t mind seeing you skilfully doing things I’ve seen you do many times before. No apologies required, no editing - at least not on my account.

That must be the newest car you have repaired - at least you weren't fighting years of dirt and rust when you had to replace parts which I should think made a nice change. Great result and another cheap car for someone. Looking forward to the video's on Dean's GTR - he has come to best possible place for the work needed. Good to see a collaboration between your channels - you seem to be like minded people who have done a lot to improve the image of salvage rebuilt cars👍

We had a guy in France in to do some work. When we come back everything he needed parts and tools was laid out neatly on a carpet.

Hybrids do not have to make a noise, my Renault Austral is silent in EV mode.
Fully electric cars have to make a noise.
The range on the dashboard is how long before you need to fill up with petrol.
They don’t have a specific EV range as it’s depends on driving style and how much regeneration you have wound up.
I witnessed this car getting collected by Rob and now its all put back together! Another banger, love the videos.

The availability of parts and the knock on effect with hire cars etc is probably a massive factor in the fact that so many cars are getting written off these days!

This is a lovely brand new Clio with no miles. It was worth the wait for the parts and with it being a new car there wouldn't have been many 'brand new secondhand' parts anyway. A great profit Gents and it makes up for the odd one where you didn't do so well, all part of business as you both know. Thanks Rob and Chris for the final video on this little Clio, great colour too. 👍👍

Parts on back order seems to be pretty common. My wife's Captur was hit by a taxi and nearly a month on the body shop are still waiting for parts to complete the repair
A Reno Clio ( french ? ) I'm a bit rusty, in New Zealand 🇳🇿 almost All German cars would receive Glasurit for refinishing 😮😊

Check the insurance cost first. £2200 for my 18yrold daughters 1.2 polo. lol
