Its probably me but I cant seem to like these standard rims on the m140. That and the diffuser where my choices to change first. Although I like how you started. And its allready lower than mine. In the Netherlands its hard to drive it lowered
@@Danny-nw3yl Surprisingly, BMW found out that he had modified his financed M4 up to 700hp. I suppose it could have had something to do with 200k subs. They then said he had to buy it or give it back as I recall. He bought it.
When you see your stunning M140 and the new M135 side by side you really notice the huge step backwards BMW have taken... from both an engine and styling perspective!
Nice car. Your lucky in the UK. In Australia spacers are illegal even hub centric ones. If you have an accident it's an easy way for insurance to void your claim. If you want a different offset you need aftermarket wheels.

Congrats on your 1st modification, me personally would have gone with 12mm spacers on all four wheels,are you having a 4 wheel alignment/geometry check,or has fitting spacers made that impossible to do.Caliper upgrade next ?
In terms of handling, what difference do the spacers make? I'm reluctant to mess with the geometry of the car, as I trust the Beamer engineers, so how does it improve, do you think?

Be careful modifying your financed car and putting it all over TH-cam, that’s how LivingLifeFast got stung.
He'll probably be fine, unless he goes and does something subtle like adding 300hp

@Chris yep, the loss of its USP, the RWD B58 setup is a huge backwards step, not to mention how awful it looks!
Perhaps a video on what fuel you use? And if you ever put something different, do you notice a difference :)

The stock exhaust sounds great after 8K miles(Not yobbish) but most folk are not willing to wait that long thou. Can't vouch for the OPF set up thou.
When I asked motech about my 1 series lowering springs they wanted to put like 35mm front 15mm rear... man be looking like he’s braking 24/7...

Feels a lot sharper with less ‘body roll’ when you throw it into corners
It also lowers the centre of gravity

personally i wouldn't do the exhaust. i would tho, do a Maxton design front lip and side skirts plus a down pipe and then go
from there.
