Recently, visiting those comic and collectible shops has been my weekly routine. Because I don't care about other people see me anymore, I will read comics and buy some action figures, those are something I've missed in my childhood filled with homework and exams. But now, I don't care anymore as an adult.
I can relate to your situation as I've experienced something similar due to family and financial constraints. I stopped collecting in the 1990s but resumed in 2010. I have a lot of catching up to do now. I did occasionally visit the comic store over years just to look what's up.
Last month I won some Captain Canuck's trades from the comics curing cancer auction, looking forward to reading them! I've been reading, buying and collecting for best part of 60 years, with a two year break, when I sold my first collection in 1984, but by early '87 I started again. The only reason I sold them was to get a deposit on a flat and buy a car! Girls came and went anyway, couldn't use that as an excuse to quit. Love me love my comics. Lol!
@Deadman1957TEB sounds like you have an awesome collection! I kinda regret missing out on collecting during the 90's and early 2000's, but I'm making up for lost time now! 👍
@@comicbookrevival Blatant plug, since July I've been showing some them, whether I live long enough to show them all, is doubtful, lol! @Deadman1957TEB
