Susanoo is pretty hard to use because the user is nearly blind when it's fully evolved. Obito couldn't even use the susanoo because he had only one sharingan. But even one eyed rinnegan can teleport, use amaturasu, see invisible clones, travel dimensions. Someone with two Sharingan can really just read people's movements perfectly. Which is why they're able to copy jutsu. Two mangekyo Sharingan can use susanoo and one unique power. Two rinnegan can rip souls out of people and read their minds, absorb jutsu and use the chakra to heal themselves, summon various powerful creatures, summon the king of hell to heal anyone to perfect condition, push any object away, pull any object to them, create a mini planet, use various futuristic advanced weapons. And even control six different bodies or people to use those powers individually, all with linked vision and still extremely powerful. Rinnegan completely outclasses Sharingan in every way imaginable

I love how simple and effective your explanations are. So many of the Rinnegan abilities and stuff are so weird to explain, but just having it simplified to "you can pull and push stuff" and "it puts you in a giant rock" really helps people like me who struggle with big words 😅

The wiki explains it like this. I always thought that what was happening was that he was going into the future and seeing what happens there and then going back into the past and that's why like maybe the limit of the ability was to go back into the past or he would just stop but because he now like fuses with the self that went into the future and then back he gets healed and experience but that's also why the poison affects him first because he accumulates all that time. Although this explanation makes me think that the Urashiki you would see when he activates this ability is actually the one in the Future you create and what happens is that one gets sent to the past Urashiki who wouldn't have been hit and that might explain the healing and now he knows what you did? It's confusing but in some way it allows him to see the future. It's kinda funny because he needed that other thing to travel back in time for a long period of time... Urashiki's pursuit of perfection...
Remember, when the guy being controlled by Danzo was told he was being controlled, he seemed to snap out of it. This means one eye controls someone without their knowledge but breaks if they learn about it, and the other one gives a single command that changes the persons perspective to follow that order.
Its worth mentioning with the Byakugan that its possible that the Byakugan's extra 360 degree dome's vision is not as good as the vision of actually looking at something with the Byakugan. The evidence supporting this is that when Isshiki pulls up to the leaf looking for Kawaki he turns his Byakugan on and searches through the leaf with his actual eyes, instead of just using the 360 degree dome to instantly scan the village. Urashiki, Momoshiki and others are all seen doing similar things. The series only establishes that there is a 360 degree field of vision, it never explicitly says that this extra field of vision is equal to the normal range of vision of actually looking.
just a note is that we see a lot of byakugan usage by neji and hinata activating the byakugan to search large areas or far distances at least in the show. possible he uses that function as opposed to the 360 degree passive sight. perhaps for a thorough search?
@@tr3dawggg perhaps the 360 degree view is like seeing something in the periphery of your vision (but obv way better), i.e. still less in focus than if you were focusing on one thing in particular. Searching a large area vs a far distance could be like different depth of field on a camera. Basically byakugan is still way better than normal eyesight in all cases, but using it for specific tasks may limit its effectiveness of its other qualities at the same time
that could also be only Outsuki exclusive since from what we see it the same if not BETTER then regular vision as Hinata from if I remember current 5 or 6 km saw the amertsu and by all accounts that if should only be like pure charka or a fire style justu not specifically that especially as the byukugan seen to have a limited color view
It could be the case that he searched the whole place with his byakugan and deduced it was no longer helpful in that moment. If the ability wasn’t useful he might as well just have normal eyes out
the Gentle Fist isn’t an ability granted by the Byakugan rather it’s a fighting style created that is complimented by it. This is why Boruto can use it without a Byakugan albeit not to its full power
The thing with Dojutsu is it definitely depends on the user so its hard to tell which is most powerful. I feel like Senrigan is most hax, making up for the difference in individual power levels

Sakunahikona + daikokuten is basically better. Like he can just put your attack in daikokuten dimension and use it against you. He can shrink himself so any physical attack doesn't hit him. He can use those cubes to disrupt the sensory thingy and then one shot them using his brute strength. He didn't shrink himself while fighting baryon mode Naruto because plot btw
On the outer path of the rinnegan it doesn't seem to actually require the users life, obito survived using it and konan only said that at the amount of chakra nagato had at the time resurrecting the entire leaf would kill him. Maybe it's just weird phrasing on konans part but it definitely seems like you just need enough chakra to survive using it. That also makes sense since it should be better than granny chiyos puppet resurrection jutsu
Obito said he would lose his life tho. Using Obito to support that seems a bit wrong since he was kept alive by Zetsu until Naruto Jesus'd him back to life.
Obito only survived because he still had lack zetsu on him keeping him alive that was stated after he left his body he died and naruto brought him back to life

I agree with you on the limbo clones because if it was his mangekyou ability he should have absolutely massacred hashirama. 4 clones equal to madara that can't be countered or even seen by hashirama should have made the fight a complete no diff for madara. Thus it shouldn't be his mangekyou unless hashirama is 5 times stronger than we thought
Eh, not really. Remember that OG Madara needed the full Nine Tails on his side and still lost. Remember that after Madara absorbed **Hashirama's Chakra** and activated **Hashirama's Sage Mode** ... suddenly he pretty much one shot every Tailed Beast. Hashirama >>> OG Madara, a few more clones isn't going to change that. And Hashirama could probably sense them with Sage Mode anyway. That's just a few random thoughts though, I totally agree it was intended to be Madara's personal Rinnegan ability and that it's totally busted. But I also think it would have made more sense if it was his Mangekyou ability and maybe just tone it down a bit - like maybe they can't use ninjutsu. Because let's be honest, the Rinnegan is already super busted and has like 6 powers that barely ever get used by anyone other than Pain. It didn't need more super unique powers, it just needed the characters to actually use what it already was established to have.
@@plendamonda2629 Its probably because kishimoto originally only planned for nagato, hagoromo and kaguya (With her sharinnegan) to have it, but then he decided to tie it into the sharingan (which was one of the worst retcons as it made the sharingan too op) and madara, suddenly giving both of them the rinnegan. Nagato having the rinnegan was meant to hype it up so kishimoto gave it a ton of abilities, thinking only 2 other super high tier characters would have it, but with obito and madara he nerfed it so they wouldn't be too busted.
I think it was dumb giving madara the rinnegan. It basically had no purpose as it was nerfed beyond belief and made the sharingan too op. I think it would've been better if madara had other mangekyo abilities, maybe even having his brother izuna's mangekyo abilities thanks to having his eyes.
The hydra-like Cerberus is one of my favorite summons in the series. Really wish we got to see more summons. Guys tortoise and temaris weasel are awesome too.
I think you missed something about the Byakugan. Outside the ability to see chakra flow and tenketsu, and practical 360* vision. Byakugan also allows the user to see far far ahead. Perhaps the ability is just to enhance vision, and it depends on your "training" that will determine how that manifests. In the anime, at least, it does appear that training is tantamount to the usability of the Byakugan (Neji had a much "stronger" Byakugan than Hinata...but later it seemed that they were no different in terms of ability. Hinata's was more focused on scouting while Neji's was more focused on close combat.)
Incorrect. I mean, you're mostly right it does enhance your vision, you can see much farther, but it JUST improves as you train it. Neji's Byakugan was better than Hinata's, full stop. He was just better in every way. SHE wasn't super weak, but she was nowhere near him. This is actually a really common misconception. It comes because in Shippuuden there's really only ONE instance where we get a number for how far Neji in particular sees. It's when he's looking for the sealing tags around the Akatsuki base while they're trying to save Gaara. Later on in the series, we get a number for Hinata and it's HIGHER than the distance Neji got on that mission. This does NOT MEAN Neji could see that distance, and that's it. It's implied he can see farther than that in the scene, he doesn't seem to have ANY problems very rapidly locating all these tags in different directions and at varying distances. He just immediately finds them and calls them out, no mention of "Oh, I almost couldn't see this one it's so far away" nah he just does it instantly. He can surely see much farther than Hinata and probably most Hyuga. He's considered to be a pretty top tier Hyuga after all. He just isn't brought in to look for things far away later on, where Hinata is. NOT BECAUSE SHE'S BETTER AT IT, that's not the reason. It's because, her ENTIRE TEAM is tracking specialists. Her team is brought in to track people, because her WHOLE team tracks people, not just ONE of them, like Neji's team. There's no reason making him, a JONIN, go on this tracking mission with a ranged weapons specialist and a taijutsu specialist, when you can get THREE chunin tracking experts. So yeah, ALL aspects of the Byakugan are better when you train them and just have a stronger dojutsu. Neji trains his up constantly, and his eyes are just amazing. ANYTHING Hinata can do, Neji CAN do better. That goes from seeing chakra points to seeing things at a distance.
The gentle fist is developed by the huyga clan to complement the byakugan , It's not an inherited kekkei genkai. Which means no alien otsutsuki should know how to use it. nor should boruto be able to use it since he is trained by huyga members but has no byakugan.
Go ahead and look at human history specifically to do with weapons and you'll see that given similar circumstances people with no communication who are very far apart can and will develop similar weapons armors and techniques.
The gentle fist isn't a byakugan ability, it's just an ability that compliments the eyes visual enhancements as we see boruto knows the gentle fist but doesn't have a byakugan
Momoshiki uses it and all boruto did was use his palm never stated to that he used tenkestu. And himawari uses it subconsciously with her beuakugan proving it does cause
Yea rinne-sharingan is a trash name. Also it is supper hyped up when in reality all it does is allow you to use time space ninjustsu and just combines your sharingan abilities so you don’t have to revert your rinnegan back to a sharingan
I'd have to say the potential strongest Dojutsu has to be the Mongekyoū Sharingan. Why you ask? Well it all lies within the social ability the user unlocks. You could get a weaker ability, or you could get an ability that propels you to being a top tier in the verse, like Kamui. Kamui alone, in my opinion, gave Obito the most powerful eyes we have ever seen. Not to mention the Mongekyoū Sharingan gives it's user access to Susanoo which is one of the strongest things a shinobi can have. So, the Mongekyoū Sharingan can be the strongest Dojutsu, but it can also not be.
You gotta remember though by the time they get to the armored Susanoo Sasuke was almost blind Same with Itachi and for Kamui it’s weird that he’s not blind by now seeing how often he does it
No , because the tensegan gives better abilities and greater amps to speed and power it shits on the mongekyo . Sure u could get lucky and maybe get a op ability but 9/10 you’ll get a strong ability but nothing compared to the tensegan
@@joanjorge566 This issue can be solved by a couple things. - Getting Hashirama cells, which is why Obito was able to use Kamui to the point of ridiculouness. - Getting an EMS which is a bit harder. You're better off going with getting Hashirama cells. I mean even then Kakashi in the war arc used Kamui a lot too with now vision loss so maybe Obitos eyes are just built different idk lol
One small missing piece of information on Eida's dojutsu (or whatever the source of her attraction ability it) -- in addition to it not working on Otsutsuki and those implanted with Karma like you said, she also states that it does not work on blood relatives. I think this will be crucial.
The sharingan and byakugan abilities are so different that it all depends on how the user fights. A mix of both (3 tomo) would be nuts tho cause they would predict movements and copy justu on a full 360 angle

The asura path also displayed the ability to grow additional arms & faces, so that they had 3 faces and 6 arms (like an Asura). Only Nagato & the Asura path of pain actually make use of this ability though as far as I'm aware, which is weird because you'd think extra arms and eyes would be considered beneficial. Maybe Sasuke & Madara just didn't like it because it changes their body shape which'd affect their taijutsu idk.
the real answer is bc Kishimoto just gave them the Rinnegan to up the stakes and really only had them use like maybe 3 of the dozens of the abilities it has
I've heard the theory that Nagato did actually get a unique rinnegan ability, which was full on telekinesis. The evidence is that he's the only rinnegan user that has shown the ability to levitate (without susanoo or something like that) and stuff like throwing Hinata around by waving his hand without using his normal deva path abilities.
I don't think that's plausible, Nagato didn't have a rinnegan of his own, it was Madara's rinnegan, and apparently the fact of being implanted meant that Nagato didn't have access to all the abilities, since he never used limbo or summoned any meteor. my personal theory is that telekinesis is something that all rinnegan users can do, but that it takes a lot of practice, practice that only Nagato had.
@@azzkin9401 The fact that he couldn't use Madara's ability doesn't really mean that he couldn't have his own. And unless Sasuke has used telekinesis in Boruto I find it a bit hard to believe that it's just about practice since he's had a more advanced version for a similar amount of time (Nagato didn't really start to practice with it's powers until he was around 15 at least, he died at 35, and Sasuke got his when he was 17 and is 33 in Boruto.

I think the Jougan allows the user to predict movements similar to the sharingan, or some other form of perception. Boruto was able to react to Momokinshiki as a kid while the Kage couldn’t. His Jougan was out during this time so that’s the only explanation I have other than “plot hole”
sasukes rinnegan can also travel to other dimensions, sense chakra in other dimensions (shown when he found naruto at the start of the 1st jigen fight and when he followed boruto when boruto teleported jigen to another dimension), he’s rinnegan can use his sharingan abilities (like amaterasu and genjutsu) and it allows his perfect susanoo to use his jutsu (like fire ball jutsu and chidori)
I think a Sharingan and Byakugan mix is what I would want (and need) to ensure my own survival and protection for those close to me. Kamui followed by Gentle Fist sounds like a great combo for a shinobi.

I wish we got to learn more about the Rinne-Sharingan. We know it can cast infinite Tsukuyomi, but what else can it do? My head cannon is that it's the progenitor of both the Rinnengan and Sharingan, and by extension can use all the abilities both those eyes grant you. It's perceptive abilities are also probably insane.
The reason the ashura path has missles and lasers because in hundiism or budism forget which one the ashuras had the ability to spawn the equivalent of modern day weaponry such as missles n lasers and they also had 3 heads and 6 arms which also connects back to naruto being his reancarnate kishimoto did his research

the ashura path is more than just shooting lasers, nagato used it to grow 2 extra arms and i believe one of the bodies grew like a scorpion tail, it honestly just looks like mechanical body augmentation
To explain the Asura path's abilities, it's based on (like the rest of the paths) Hinduism. There's godly beings in Hinduism that can use magical abilities that are similar to missiles and laser beams. Hence why this path can weaponize its body, and sprout extra faces. The influence of Hinduism is present in all the paths, Asura, Deva, Preta they're all named after Hindu lore. Their names also relate to their abilities, the animal path is even represented by Hindu beliefs about reincarnation and animals. It's pretty interesting.
@@beetlewater Yes and no, Blaze release is exclusive to Amaterasu only. Meaning the MS uchiha would need that and have Kagutsuchi( or their sibling, since the lore is MS users need their siblings eyes to retain power and sight) to utilize Blaze release. You can think of Amaterasu as, spam ink on the page, which it does. Then Kagutsuchi would be the brush or pen to manipulate it in a specified direction. When used in tandem with each other it becomes the Blaze release variants
Just a theory I don't think shin unlocked the mangekyo and was instead implanted a fully matured sharingan he seems to care about no one enough to unlock it
He probably went through some ish....or he used drugs or some other method of unlocking his mangekyou. His ability seems to suck, but thats only because HE sucked. This a very powerful dojutsu. I know Kunai and shuriken and ninja tools are all deemed inferior to jutsu, but they can be used to devaatating effect. Look at the Cloud Ninja Tomoi , whose whole thing was using shuriken.
Shin is not an Uchiha at all, you are correct. That is not HIS sharingan, and whether he awakened the Mangekyou himself (Which you can do with a transplant, Kakashi did it) or it was already a Mangekyou when implanted is not known. The former seems more likely if you ask me.
Lol, my man called the Dharma eye that Isshiki possessed simple? Is that all you got from the visual information provided to you? Isshiki's dojutsu possess eight paths and are yet to be fully shown in a capable vessel like Kawaki. The only reason you see two paths was because Issshiki fought Koji with Jigen's low stamina and dying body and was forced to resurrect through him. Albeit there were 4-5 abilities covered in the entire Isshiki arc. Isshki wasn't capable of accessing his full powers due to the low chakra, which is the life force and a dying vessel. He wanted to get to Kawaki, therefore, returning in a healthy vessel with his full powers and display all his arsenal and the reason why he is connected to being A Sage of Eight Paths and his eyes having a deep connection to the Dharma wheel, which is state above the Samsara which is the rinnegan. Remember this Kishimoto we're talking about, the man's brilliant, and this video was a let down.

The rinne-rebirth seems to return life to the body itself, so wouldn't bringing Jiraiya back just end up killing him? Since his body is too far down in the depths of the Rain village ocean.
In terms of visual prowess in the whole sharingan vs Byakugan argument, I'd say the Byakugan wins. In out right visual prowess the Byakugan takes the cake. With near full 360° x-ray vision plus the ability to pinpoint and strike chakra points with that vision and because of their range of vision, basic genjutsu would be hard pressed to fool the Byakugan. The base sharingan only has higher reaction time and precognition. They wouldn't be able to even copy the hyuga's fighting style as it is only able to be done via their kekkai genkai. But the moment the sharingan evolves into the MS or ems it's over the Byakugan becomes irrelevant.
While you are correct about the byakugan, the gentle fist can be used without a byakugan, we see boruto do it, albeit it is a lot harder to properly hit the chakra points without byakugan
@@gageadams6747 Boruto learned it yes, but quite literally only because Hinata is his mother. He has a direct line with the Uchiha. If anyone else wanted to learn it from the hyuga it would be practically impossible due to there intent on secrecy about their techniques. Not to mention, if I remember correctly the hyuga possess two kekkai genkai that are directly complimentary to each other. Their eyes, of course, and their ability to mould chakra to almost a mastery's level with ease.

That's just hypnosis. Inducing amnesia with genjutsu as powerful as a Sharingan can muster, let alone Sasuke's Sharingan, isn't super difficult. Memories are stored in the brain, so effect the chakra in the brain, and just kinda fuzz up those memories.
Hagoromo's ability probably isn't the afterlife things as Hamura as well as his descendants are kinda chilling in a similar space. Also the ems is probably the strongest or sharinnegan the others are either shells of another one or have a ems type ability. The sharingan is allowed to predict and cast Genjutsu while the byakugan wide vision and can see through Genjutsu. The tenseigan is kinda just an alternate rinnegan as it allows one to have telekinesis like the rinnegan, summon a golem like the rinnegan, manipulate things through orbs like the rinnegan rods, absorb chakra, both can manifest some kinda armor with some type of laser, and he also has that crab thing only thing missing is summoning.
Obits didn't use izanagi for 5 minutes. He used kamui for 5 minutes and when the paper bombs were exploding for longer than that he used izanagi to reverse his death
Honestly, the rinnegan is the eye of god. Every Rinnegan user is god tier. I doubt we’ll see it anymore in Boruto so who knows maybe the Jougan will replace the rinnegan.
It’s never directly stated but I believe the byakugan has equal or better predictive ability than the sharingan because in part one we see how neji can see hundreds of spiders around him in slow motion and hit them accurately while they’re falling. I can’t remember if it’s canon or not but there’s also hinata’s protective 64 palms that can accurately target wasps flying around her
Byakugan: You can see in all directions
Sharingan: You can copy movements perfectly
Rinnegan: You can literally summon god, absorb all ninjutsu, rip out people's souls, teleport, take control of the most powerful creatures that were created from the mother of all chakra. And if you complete the right steps, you can put everyone on earth into an eternal hypnosis and no one can do anything to escape
The Sharingan is 10x better than rinnigan, Sharingan can develop ems and get a sussano and they can, in the case of obito can take control of a tailed beast.
@@noclues_storys You do realize that Obito was only able to control the tailed beasts when he got the rinnegan, right? The Sharingan can't control people, only place them under genjutsu. Susanoo is pretty hard to use because the user is nearly blind when it's fully evolved. Obito couldn't even use the susanoo because he had only one sharingan. But even one eyed rinnegan can teleport, use amaturasu, see invisible clones, travel dimensions.
Someone with two Sharingan can really just read people's movements perfectly. Which is why they're able to copy jutsu. Two mangekyo Sharingan can use susanoo and one unique power. Two rinnegan can rip souls out of people and read their minds, absorb jutsu and use the chakra to heal themselves, summon various powerful creatures, summon the king of hell to heal anyone to perfect condition, push any object away, pull any object to them, create a mini planet, use various futuristic advanced weapons. And even control six different bodies or people to use those powers individually, all with linked vision and still extremely powerful.

I love how simple and effective your explanations are. So many of the Rinnegan abilities and stuff are so weird to explain, but just having it simplified to "you can pull and push stuff" and "it puts you in a giant rock" really helps people like me who struggle with big words 😅

The wiki explains it like this.
I always thought that what was happening was that he was going into the future and seeing what happens there and then going back into the past and that's why like maybe the limit of the ability was to go back into the past or he would just stop but because he now like fuses with the self that went into the future and then back he gets healed and experience but that's also why the poison affects him first because he accumulates all that time.
Although this explanation makes me think that the Urashiki you would see when he activates this ability is actually the one in the Future you create and what happens is that one gets sent to the past Urashiki who wouldn't have been hit and that might explain the healing and now he knows what you did?
It's confusing but in some way it allows him to see the future.
It's kinda funny because he needed that other thing to travel back in time for a long period of time...

Remember, when the guy being controlled by Danzo was told he was being controlled, he seemed to snap out of it. This means one eye controls someone without their knowledge but breaks if they learn about it, and the other one gives a single command that changes the persons perspective to follow that order.
Its worth mentioning with the Byakugan that its possible that the Byakugan's extra 360 degree dome's vision is not as good as the vision of actually looking at something with the Byakugan. The evidence supporting this is that when Isshiki pulls up to the leaf looking for Kawaki he turns his Byakugan on and searches through the leaf with his actual eyes, instead of just using the 360 degree dome to instantly scan the village. Urashiki, Momoshiki and others are all seen doing similar things. The series only establishes that there is a 360 degree field of vision, it never explicitly says that this extra field of vision is equal to the normal range of vision of actually looking.
just a note is that we see a lot of byakugan usage by neji and hinata activating the byakugan to search large areas or far distances at least in the show. possible he uses that function as opposed to the 360 degree passive sight. perhaps for a thorough search?
@@tr3dawggg perhaps the 360 degree view is like seeing something in the periphery of your vision (but obv way better), i.e. still less in focus than if you were focusing on one thing in particular. Searching a large area vs a far distance could be like different depth of field on a camera. Basically byakugan is still way better than normal eyesight in all cases, but using it for specific tasks may limit its effectiveness of its other qualities at the same time
that could also be only Outsuki exclusive since from what we see it the same if not BETTER then regular vision as Hinata from if I remember current 5 or 6 km saw the amertsu and by all accounts that if should only be like pure charka or a fire style justu not specifically that especially as the byukugan seen to have a limited color view
It could be the case that he searched the whole place with his byakugan and deduced it was no longer helpful in that moment. If the ability wasn’t useful he might as well just have normal eyes out

the Gentle Fist isn’t an ability granted by the Byakugan rather it’s a fighting style created that is complimented by it. This is why Boruto can use it without a Byakugan albeit not to its full power

Sakunahikona + daikokuten is basically better. Like he can just put your attack in daikokuten dimension and use it against you. He can shrink himself so any physical attack doesn't hit him. He can use those cubes to disrupt the sensory thingy and then one shot them using his brute strength. He didn't shrink himself while fighting baryon mode Naruto because plot btw

On the outer path of the rinnegan it doesn't seem to actually require the users life, obito survived using it and konan only said that at the amount of chakra nagato had at the time resurrecting the entire leaf would kill him. Maybe it's just weird phrasing on konans part but it definitely seems like you just need enough chakra to survive using it. That also makes sense since it should be better than granny chiyos puppet resurrection jutsu
Obito said he would lose his life tho. Using Obito to support that seems a bit wrong since he was kept alive by Zetsu until Naruto Jesus'd him back to life.

I agree with you on the limbo clones because if it was his mangekyou ability he should have absolutely massacred hashirama. 4 clones equal to madara that can't be countered or even seen by hashirama should have made the fight a complete no diff for madara. Thus it shouldn't be his mangekyou unless hashirama is 5 times stronger than we thought

That's just a few random thoughts though, I totally agree it was intended to be Madara's personal Rinnegan ability and that it's totally busted.
But I also think it would have made more sense if it was his Mangekyou ability and maybe just tone it down a bit - like maybe they can't use ninjutsu.
Because let's be honest, the Rinnegan is already super busted and has like 6 powers that barely ever get used by anyone other than Pain.
It didn't need more super unique powers, it just needed the characters to actually use what it already was established to have.

@@plendamonda2629 Its probably because kishimoto originally only planned for nagato, hagoromo and kaguya (With her sharinnegan) to have it, but then he decided to tie it into the sharingan (which was one of the worst retcons as it made the sharingan too op) and madara, suddenly giving both of them the rinnegan.
Nagato having the rinnegan was meant to hype it up so kishimoto gave it a ton of abilities, thinking only 2 other super high tier characters would have it, but with obito and madara he nerfed it so they wouldn't be too busted.
I think it was dumb giving madara the rinnegan. It basically had no purpose as it was nerfed beyond belief and made the sharingan too op.
I think it would've been better if madara had other mangekyo abilities, maybe even having his brother izuna's mangekyo abilities thanks to having his eyes.

I think you missed something about the Byakugan.
Outside the ability to see chakra flow and tenketsu, and practical 360* vision.
Byakugan also allows the user to see far far ahead. Perhaps the ability is just to enhance vision, and it depends on your "training" that will determine how that manifests. In the anime, at least, it does appear that training is tantamount to the usability of the Byakugan (Neji had a much "stronger" Byakugan than Hinata...but later it seemed that they were no different in terms of ability. Hinata's was more focused on scouting while Neji's was more focused on close combat.)
Incorrect. I mean, you're mostly right it does enhance your vision, you can see much farther, but it JUST improves as you train it.
Neji's Byakugan was better than Hinata's, full stop. He was just better in every way. SHE wasn't super weak, but she was nowhere near him.
This is actually a really common misconception. It comes because in Shippuuden there's really only ONE instance where we get a number for how far Neji in particular sees. It's when he's looking for the sealing tags around the Akatsuki base while they're trying to save Gaara. Later on in the series, we get a number for Hinata and it's HIGHER than the distance Neji got on that mission.
This does NOT MEAN Neji could see that distance, and that's it. It's implied he can see farther than that in the scene, he doesn't seem to have ANY problems very rapidly locating all these tags in different directions and at varying distances. He just immediately finds them and calls them out, no mention of "Oh, I almost couldn't see this one it's so far away" nah he just does it instantly. He can surely see much farther than Hinata and probably most Hyuga. He's considered to be a pretty top tier Hyuga after all.
He just isn't brought in to look for things far away later on, where Hinata is. NOT BECAUSE SHE'S BETTER AT IT, that's not the reason. It's because, her ENTIRE TEAM is tracking specialists. Her team is brought in to track people, because her WHOLE team tracks people, not just ONE of them, like Neji's team. There's no reason making him, a JONIN, go on this tracking mission with a ranged weapons specialist and a taijutsu specialist, when you can get THREE chunin tracking experts.
So yeah, ALL aspects of the Byakugan are better when you train them and just have a stronger dojutsu. Neji trains his up constantly, and his eyes are just amazing. ANYTHING Hinata can do, Neji CAN do better. That goes from seeing chakra points to seeing things at a distance.

The gentle fist is developed by the huyga clan to complement the byakugan , It's not an inherited kekkei genkai. Which means no alien otsutsuki should know how to use it. nor should boruto be able to use it since he is trained by huyga members but has no byakugan.

I'd have to say the potential strongest Dojutsu has to be the Mongekyoū Sharingan.
Why you ask?
Well it all lies within the social ability the user unlocks. You could get a weaker ability, or you could get an ability that propels you to being a top tier in the verse, like Kamui.
Kamui alone, in my opinion, gave Obito the most powerful eyes we have ever seen. Not to mention the Mongekyoū Sharingan gives it's user access to Susanoo which is one of the strongest things a shinobi can have.
So, the Mongekyoū Sharingan can be the strongest Dojutsu, but it can also not be.

No , because the tensegan gives better abilities and greater amps to speed and power it shits on the mongekyo . Sure u could get lucky and maybe get a op ability but 9/10 you’ll get a strong ability but nothing compared to the tensegan

- Getting Hashirama cells, which is why Obito was able to use Kamui to the point of ridiculouness.
- Getting an EMS which is a bit harder.
You're better off going with getting Hashirama cells.
I mean even then Kakashi in the war arc used Kamui a lot too with now vision loss so maybe Obitos eyes are just built different idk lol
One small missing piece of information on Eida's dojutsu (or whatever the source of her attraction ability it) -- in addition to it not working on Otsutsuki and those implanted with Karma like you said, she also states that it does not work on blood relatives. I think this will be crucial.
The sharingan and byakugan abilities are so different that it all depends on how the user fights. A mix of both (3 tomo) would be nuts tho cause they would predict movements and copy justu on a full 360 angle

The asura path also displayed the ability to grow additional arms & faces, so that they had 3 faces and 6 arms (like an Asura). Only Nagato & the Asura path of pain actually make use of this ability though as far as I'm aware, which is weird because you'd think extra arms and eyes would be considered beneficial. Maybe Sasuke & Madara just didn't like it because it changes their body shape which'd affect their taijutsu idk.

I've heard the theory that Nagato did actually get a unique rinnegan ability, which was full on telekinesis. The evidence is that he's the only rinnegan user that has shown the ability to levitate (without susanoo or something like that) and stuff like throwing Hinata around by waving his hand without using his normal deva path abilities.
I don't think that's plausible, Nagato didn't have a rinnegan of his own, it was Madara's rinnegan, and apparently the fact of being implanted meant that Nagato didn't have access to all the abilities, since he never used limbo or summoned any meteor.
my personal theory is that telekinesis is something that all rinnegan users can do, but that it takes a lot of practice, practice that only Nagato had.
@@azzkin9401 The fact that he couldn't use Madara's ability doesn't really mean that he couldn't have his own. And unless Sasuke has used telekinesis in Boruto I find it a bit hard to believe that it's just about practice since he's had a more advanced version for a similar amount of time (Nagato didn't really start to practice with it's powers until he was around 15 at least, he died at 35, and Sasuke got his when he was 17 and is 33 in Boruto.

I think the Jougan allows the user to predict movements similar to the sharingan, or some other form of perception. Boruto was able to react to Momokinshiki as a kid while the Kage couldn’t. His Jougan was out during this time so that’s the only explanation I have other than “plot hole”
The putter path also can summon the Gedo Mazo( the husk of the 10 tails)
sasukes rinnegan can also travel to other dimensions, sense chakra in other dimensions (shown when he found naruto at the start of the 1st jigen fight and when he followed boruto when boruto teleported jigen to another dimension), he’s rinnegan can use his sharingan abilities (like amaterasu and genjutsu) and it allows his perfect susanoo to use his jutsu (like fire ball jutsu and chidori)

@@marquesjones9315 The Naraka Path can probably only repair corpses being controlled by the Rinnegan's black receivers. Otherwise Nagato, Obito, and Sasuke would have all used it at some point to heal themselves.

To explain the Asura path's abilities, it's based on (like the rest of the paths) Hinduism. There's godly beings in Hinduism that can use magical abilities that are similar to missiles and laser beams. Hence why this path can weaponize its body, and sprout extra faces. The influence of Hinduism is present in all the paths, Asura, Deva, Preta they're all named after Hindu lore. Their names also relate to their abilities, the animal path is even represented by Hindu beliefs about reincarnation and animals. It's pretty interesting.
Is amatarasu really blaze release? I thought blaze release was a combination of amaterasu and kagatsutschi (Sasuke's other ms ability)

You can think of Amaterasu as, spam ink on the page, which it does. Then Kagutsuchi would be the brush or pen to manipulate it in a specified direction. When used in tandem with each other it becomes the Blaze release variants

He probably went through some ish....or he used drugs or some other method of unlocking his mangekyou. His ability seems to suck, but thats only because HE sucked. This a very powerful dojutsu. I know Kunai and shuriken and ninja tools are all deemed inferior to jutsu, but they can be used to devaatating effect. Look at the Cloud Ninja Tomoi , whose whole thing was using shuriken.
Shin is not an Uchiha at all, you are correct. That is not HIS sharingan, and whether he awakened the Mangekyou himself (Which you can do with a transplant, Kakashi did it) or it was already a Mangekyou when implanted is not known. The former seems more likely if you ask me.
Lol, my man called the Dharma eye that Isshiki possessed simple? Is that all you got from the visual information provided to you? Isshiki's dojutsu possess eight paths and are yet to be fully shown in a capable vessel like Kawaki. The only reason you see two paths was because Issshiki fought Koji with Jigen's low stamina and dying body and was forced to resurrect through him. Albeit there were 4-5 abilities covered in the entire Isshiki arc. Isshki wasn't capable of accessing his full powers due to the low chakra, which is the life force and a dying vessel. He wanted to get to Kawaki, therefore, returning in a healthy vessel with his full powers and display all his arsenal and the reason why he is connected to being A Sage of Eight Paths and his eyes having a deep connection to the Dharma wheel, which is state above the Samsara which is the rinnegan. Remember this Kishimoto we're talking about, the man's brilliant, and this video was a let down.

In terms of visual prowess in the whole sharingan vs Byakugan argument, I'd say the Byakugan wins. In out right visual prowess the Byakugan takes the cake. With near full 360° x-ray vision plus the ability to pinpoint and strike chakra points with that vision and because of their range of vision, basic genjutsu would be hard pressed to fool the Byakugan. The base sharingan only has higher reaction time and precognition. They wouldn't be able to even copy the hyuga's fighting style as it is only able to be done via their kekkai genkai. But the moment the sharingan evolves into the MS or ems it's over the Byakugan becomes irrelevant.
While you are correct about the byakugan, the gentle fist can be used without a byakugan, we see boruto do it, albeit it is a lot harder to properly hit the chakra points without byakugan

If anyone else wanted to learn it from the hyuga it would be practically impossible due to there intent on secrecy about their techniques. Not to mention, if I remember correctly the hyuga possess two kekkai genkai that are directly complimentary to each other. Their eyes, of course, and their ability to mould chakra to almost a mastery's level with ease.

Inducing amnesia with genjutsu as powerful as a Sharingan can muster, let alone Sasuke's Sharingan, isn't super difficult.
Memories are stored in the brain, so effect the chakra in the brain, and just kinda fuzz up those memories.
Hagoromo's ability probably isn't the afterlife things as Hamura as well as his descendants are kinda chilling in a similar space. Also the ems is probably the strongest or sharinnegan the others are either shells of another one or have a ems type ability. The sharingan is allowed to predict and cast Genjutsu while the byakugan wide vision and can see through Genjutsu. The tenseigan is kinda just an alternate rinnegan as it allows one to have telekinesis like the rinnegan, summon a golem like the rinnegan, manipulate things through orbs like the rinnegan rods, absorb chakra, both can manifest some kinda armor with some type of laser, and he also has that crab thing only thing missing is summoning.
Obits didn't use izanagi for 5 minutes. He used kamui for 5 minutes and when the paper bombs were exploding for longer than that he used izanagi to reverse his death
Honestly, the rinnegan is the eye of god. Every Rinnegan user is god tier. I doubt we’ll see it anymore in Boruto so who knows maybe the Jougan will replace the rinnegan.

It’s never directly stated but I believe the byakugan has equal or better predictive ability than the sharingan because in part one we see how neji can see hundreds of spiders around him in slow motion and hit them accurately while they’re falling. I can’t remember if it’s canon or not but there’s also hinata’s protective 64 palms that can accurately target wasps flying around her
