Feel Obito is so underrated in terms of his strength. He isnt anywhere near the hashirama or madara level characters, but literally everyone else he can contend with or beat. Kamui is just so ridiculously broken, if youre even a tiny bit slower than obito, or dont have a teleportation jutsu, he needs to touch you once and you instantly lose. Attacking him while getting kamuid doesnt work because the attack also gets absorbed too.

Side a lil more with Obito, but both of these characters have a tendency to have an escape plan, and unless Kabuto is sent away with Kamui he’d most likely just escape if it gets too dicey. Same with Obito.
Yeah these two are probably the best strategists in the series (excluding maybe sikamaru and Shukaku), they’d have at least 4 different contingency plans for eachother

Definitely thought this was more cut and dry before this video. Kabuto is really a monster, man. Always knew he was underrated but I never thought a case could be made for him against white mask Obito.
Kabuto was afraid to fight Obito. That’s way he brought Madara. Obito was still ready to fight, even after seeing the undead/reanimated Akatsuki members.

The quality of your video’s is getting better. This one felt a lot more polished. The editing was good and I believe you had it scripted or at the very least planned. The sound effects were a little too much at times tho. Besides that the editor did rlly good on this one.
Before I watch this, I'd say the Kabuto fight is the more important fight. In order for the rest of the Shinobi to go help the fight later, including Sasuke, you need the edo soldiers off the battle. And if it wasn't for Madara being hax it would have ended the series so much sooner.
Nice 3 sentence analysis. How about this? Kabuto goes sage mode, closes his eyes, uses white sage snake. Obito uses kamui and can see with the rinnegan, even though he doesn't even need to. Obito kamuis away. Boom I won. Use sources, type something out that makes sense. How is obito unable to use kamui when it has been shown to be passive some of the times, just because of a bright light? Why do you think kabuto needs his eyes closed in the first place? Why did you completely ignore the fact that obito has not only the rinnegan but has way more opportunity to avoid attacks than someone like itachi or sauske has? Are you biased or unknowledgable?
This is something I’ve always wondered. If Kabuto fought Obito’s Edo jinchuriki could he regain control of them by rewriting the spell tags in their heads? The narrative present it as very much a viable option against Itachi meaning it can even bypass Kotoamatsukami. Where Kabuto is is sort of hard to place he’s definitely way above KCM1 tier characters like he just dunks on Sasuke so many times during that fight; overpowers his Katons with Great Waterfall so hard that it forces him out of his Susanoo, was basically gonna no-diff Sasuke with White Rage had itachi not been there. I think I’d scale him to the “Neo-Sannin Tier” where Mastered KCM1 Naruto/Byakugou Sakura/EMS Sasuke after the Kabuto fight fight without his highest susanoo forms and Guy/Kakashi from the Obito fight go. Obito is super busted though and has underrated raw power via Katon, the only way I see Kabuto landing a clean hit is via abusing the sound 5s abilities & Mugen Onsa and then probably Muki Tensei or even his poison that nullifies Mokuton.
I think he could also dispel Edotensei. This wasn't an option against Itachi because he wanted to uphold the war effort, but if he fought Obito, he could just dissolve his paths with basically no effort if he doesn't get greedy.

Not like, to take control, put a new ofuda or reprogram them (That's a separate debate), but like stopping casting the Jutsu altogether so they would dissolve into dust. Since they'd become dust, Obito can't control the corpses anymore either. It would be uncharacteristic for Kabuto to teach Obito Edotensei. Kabuto was all about having all the cards in his hands, and they both insisted on keeping their secrets as closely held as possible.

It basically comes down to who can dodge the best and who can hit the other one first. Could Kabuto put Obitio in genjutsu possibly. Can Obito lock Kabuto down with chains or rip his soul out maybe. It really is a toss up.
Obito definitely can’t lock down kabuto with chains . He constantly has multiple small snakes around him all the time in battle he can choose to respawn a new body out of if he wants and he can also do the same to his original body.

Rinnegan Obito vs sage Kabuto without Edo Tensei, Obito stomps. With Edo Tensei without Madara, IMO it could go either way. With Madara then Kabuto wins. But Juubito stomps Kabuto and all Edo including Madara all at the same time.

Im actually curious if the white rage technique could affect obito when using kamui. Obito can still see while using kamui right? So its safe to assume he would be blinded by the light. But would it knock him out of kamui and allow the paralyzing effect to affect him?
You forgot to mention that Kabuto has access to a venom that nullifies the 1st hokage's DNA. Used against obito, this would shut him down, since Obito's body is held together by the 1st's DNA.

Nice video six, I still wish videos like this would actually tackle Edo Tensei in the main discussion. Orochimaru used Edo tensei in a canon fight. I fully agree with everything you said. I just wish someone would acknowledge the edo tensei army that kabuto could use to help him if we were doing "peak" version of him. And that scene where he confronted obito with the edo Akatsuki is concrete evidence that a strategy like that was on the table.
For me its strange that 6 jinchuriki are given to Obito. Initially we see them in Kabuto's coffins, so he reanimated them, that is why they can use their techniques. Obito just put rods in them, but Kabuto's seals are probably inside their heads as well. So in that case its questionable, who will they listen to. I imagine the sitution when Obito appears with 6 jinchuriki against Kabuto and Kabuto just returns them to coffins as he did with other edos at night, leaving Obito 1v1 against him xD
If Obitos rods are stronger than Pains, he could likely brute force control them even if they wanted to follow Kabutos orders. But Kabuto can just dispel Edotensei and they would disappear.

Kamui dimension would not work on Kabuto since he could reverse summoning his way out of the dimension with his snake. Similar to what Sasuke did on Deidara and was about to do when trapped inside Six Path Obito barrier. Kabuto senjutsu would just overwhelmed Obito ninjutsu so his best chance would come at only using Taijutsu and Rennegan abilities to counter Sage Mode. Now base on feats it does seem Sage Mode reflexes counters Sharingan precognition.

So reverse summoning would 100% worked unless data books states Kamui is impossible to escape by all means which wasn't stated and would make any sense because that would mean Kamui is much larger and powerful than Kaguya dimensions which is false.

I think that even with Edo Tensei Obito can counter it by transforming all the Jinchuriki into their tailed beast states and summoning the Gedo Mazo, having multiple giant beasts that can deal with the crowd of dead fighters, or just use his fire style jutsu that is strong enough to oblitirate most edo characters, also Obito's speed advantage really makes it hard to argue Kabuto would take advantage of the Kamui openings, because his attack speed is relative to people inferior to Obito's speed, while Kabuto could take the win with his venom that incapacitates Hashirama cells or other insta-win attacks, it's more likely that Obito dodges them rather thanKabuto dodging his own attacks, even if you want to equate Kabuto's reaction speed to Obito's his attack and movement speed being inferior is a big advantage to Obito's kamui, overall i think Obito would take it.

I think if it's just Obito vs Kabuto, then I think Obito takes it. However, if Kabuto decides to use edotensei in the fight and summon some of his big hitters like the previous kage, akatsuki members and other legendary ninja, then I think he'd probably win. Creating more noise for obito to have to deal with would make it much harder to counter attack and deal with any of them, or even leave his kamui phase state resulting in him being much more worn out. When I saw the video, I almost dismissed it as a clear victory for Obito, but the more I thought about it, the more intrigued I got and wanted to see if there were thing I may have dismissed regarding each of the participants power sets. Glad I watched this.
i cant lie i think it will be unfair for obito because its basically kabuto and an entire reanimated army vs obito and the jinjurikis. kabuto by himself is already a dangerous problem and the reanimated akatsuki members alone will be very bad for obito not to mention like the other 100 reanimations loool. unless we are not counting reanimation and jinjurikis then it will be an epic fight and can go both ways
Kabuto is literally stronger than Obito.... but most of them are biased towards eye users. I don't know why... Obito's past is tough.. I don't take sides, but when they started the war, Kabuto's reason for suing it was his clan that was wiped out and destroyed, his mother who betrayed, and his years that he wasted With them, and he himself betrayed him and wanted to kill him... As for Obito... for the sake of a girl only, no, and the girl committed suicide for a convincing reason. Even when he knew... he did not stop his evil, as he continued for the sake of his grudge and negativity

The rinnegan absorbing sage energy thing was only bc naruto started to channel more sage chakra until he turned into a frog pain easily took naruto out of sage mode plus with the hashirama cells even madara said it’d be simple enough to control
I think the point was kabuto could do the same thing, especially since his body can constantly absorb nature energy. but yeah the hashirama cells should give obito some type of immunity

I wonder how Kabuto can deal with the Gedo statue? Even two perfect jinchūriki and Guy in the gate couldn't even scratch it. There is no way Kabuto's snakes will be able to stop it, I mean, this thing has a mountain size. It will be much easier to catch Kabuto with kamui or at least with the black rods while he under constant pressure from Gedo. Even if Kabuto can bury the statue with the earth technique, Obito can always summon that monster back.
Kabuto wouldn’t have to deal with the gedo personally . Any of its attacks, kabuto can tank , respawn a new body and move on. He has multiple edos that could fight the statue , like someone in this thread already said , the 3rd raikage could easily blitz the statue . The 2nd tsuchikages particle style could instantly cause the statue to vanish , he has the 4th and possibly the 3rd kazekages magnet style to use near unlimited amounts of sand anyway he wants to subdue the statue , etc.

Or better yet use the bijuu that are now under his control through the six paths technique. So Kabuto wouldn't have control of the six bijuu anyways because of that fact. Six bijuu + Obito = Kabuto's not winning this.
Dragon Sage Kabuto was the most powerful character for that brief moment in the story. Obito did not want to join forces with Kabuto, but was forced to because at that moment he knew he did not have the power to take him. Obito was hinging his bets on the power up from becoming the ten tails vessel to overcome the threat of Kabuto and Madara. Kabuto was well researched. It took a jutsu he had no idea of to stop him. He was confident he could take Sasuke and Itachi effortlessly until he ran into izanami and izanagi. There would have been no Rinnigan power Obito could have used that Kabuto didn’t learn from Naguto and Konan had Kamui figured out I’m sure Kabuto did too. Only the introduction of new power up’s made anyone surpass Kabuto. He was just unlucky to run into Itachi as his first opponent from the war. Now if Obito could use izanami too the outcome would be the same as Itachi. But judging his reaction when the reanimation jutsu was released, I’m going to say he had no idea how to stop it and was definitely banking on the Jubi power to help.
Edo Tensei Madara was the only reason why orange mask Obito accepted Kabuto's offer to join and "ask Sasuke a few questions" (Kabuto's words). He reanimated 5 Akatsuki members, including the heaviest hitters like Nagato and Itachi and he neither budged, flinched nor sweated. I love Pain/Nagato but even I have to agree that 1v1...he'd get stomped hard (knows all the 6 Rinnegan abilities, trained by Madara on how to use a wide variety of jutsu, including forbidden and ocular jutsu). For the people who think that Itachi would take him 1v1, Edo Itachi is healthier than alive sick Itachi but he's potentially weaker...and most important, Itachi after finding out that Obito told Sasuke about his life, he truly feared what Obito knew (actual sweat and worried look on Itachi's face...when he's usually confident or has a poker face). This moment is mention to counter the misinterpretation of Obito wondering if Itachi knew more about him. On top of not knowing how crazy powerful Rinnegan Obito became, he'd have been taken out by him or the 6 other Perfect Jinchūriki with shared Rinnegan. Obito is relative to Edo Madara and Madara, the most powerful Uchiha to have ever lived is way too much for sick or Edo Itachi
I think the power-up Sage mode gives to a user is underrated. Naruto hit jubi Obito with one Sage mode regular rasengan and damaged him. When nothing else was working. Kabuto was not using any of his real Sage mode strength because he wanted to rewrite Itachi’s tag and capture Sasuke. If he was serious even a brief moment like when he caught them in the genjutsu would have been enough time for him to finish them off. Sage mode would give a buff to every person he had inside him and he wasn’t just milling around any ninja. Sound ninja 4, Kimimaru, Orochimaru, team heavy. Kabuto was walking around with the power of people who could rival jinjurikis and then he added a Sage mode buff to that. JS I don’t think we are giving him credit. Obito was worried that’s why he didn’t trust him in the first t place. And Obito is known to underestimate his opponents like Konan, Minato, Naruto. Kabuto would have wrecked orange mask Obito in that meeting without any of the reanimated ninja he could use . He joined with Obito for easier access to Sasuke. Because Obito was hiding Sasuke.

Ur also forgetting that it was kabuto that revived the six jinchuriki for obito so they won't really do much for him since kabuto can just release d jutsu. Obito takes it. He knows Izami and his genjutsu is strong enough to work on a tailed beast, and 2 Kage. He’s way faster than Kabuto, he almost beat the 4th as a kid so he’s war trained. Even Itachis Amaterasu was supposed to kill him on sight and he survived. He controls the amped tailed beast users with a sharingan. Only way Kabuto wins if he summons Madara. Even he knew that. Because itachi and Sasuke couldn't kill kabuto due to plot, having to release the edo tensei but still Itachi and Sasuke still handle Kabuto quite easily. Tobi / White mask obito scale above itachi and Sasuke at that point in the story Why I believe kabuto would lose this fight is because of the naruto vs pain fight , pain wasn't looking to kill but capture naruto , similar to itachi and Sasuke vs kabuto Kabuto with edo would be more challenging to fight but obito still win. The chakra rod are effective against edo , with kamui obito can dodge the edo attack or send them somewhere else . Obito was shown to be comparable to edo marada so I doubt he would have problems dealing with kabuto
I thought this was obvious, i 100 percent believe edo itachi alone would kill kabito easily if not for edo tensei, but he had to use izanami so that made the whole fight a lot harder
While I do think Obito wins saying Sasuke and Itachi handled Kabuto easy is a huge lie if it hadn’t been a 2v1 both of them would have been low to mid-diffed by Kabuto. Sasuke to white rage and being swallowed and Itachi to Muki Tensei or Tayuya genjutsu or the clone feint that cut him in half.
I do think though that Sage Kabuto is actually stronger then Orange Mask Obito though as A. doesn't Sage Kabuto actually scale to Pain? @Six you'd have to take away the 6 biju away from obito to even make it a 1v1 so it's really Kabuto vs obito and six jinchuriki. Also don't think Kabuto has a way around kamui.
Obito upholding his pact to not attack the leaf doesn't mean he thinks Itachi would kill him, it just means he would rather have Itachi on his side than be against him. Itachi was a useful weapon who followed the akatsuki, and since I think they're both equals this means the choice was between attacking the leaf then having to fight Itachi which is a 50/50 bet on your life, or using Itachi as a weapon until he inevitably dies from his MS then attacking the leaf freely. That's an easy choice. I hadn't finished the video yet when I commented so to add more, fights are at a probability scale, not 100% winners. "Itachi could kill me and is a threat" doesn't mean "Itachi would kill me". Even 70/30 odds are bad and idk about you but I wouldn't bet my life on those odds, especially if it means losing my #1 or #2 (depending on how you feel about pain) weapon and getting nothing for it
Welll.. we gotta acknowledge that alive Itachi wasnt that good due to being almost blind snd chakra sick. While Obito has a ön MS thst works like EMS due to a healing factor and Hashurama cells that booth ampt his physical strengh and endurance ontop. Besides being able to slip out of everything including Amaterasu we do know just how great Obitos Genjutsu is as well. He hss the greatest feat of all Uchiha by keeping Yagura a Jinchuukiri under mindcontrol for years. Besides he knows how to fight an Uchiha. In terms of Intelligence Itachi ranks slightly above him but lacks the chakra, fit body and clear vision to execute any meaningful strategy. Obitos chakra seems big enough to spam Kamui constantly. And lastly Sussannoo is extremely easy to bypass for obito by just slipping ingo the ground and placing s bomb inside or straight uo slip up in the Susdannoo. As we know imperfect Sussannoo just build up around you. You are not connectef to it. And as Madara has shown (Wjo is much more proficient at Sussannoo use) if its out you cannot deactivate it and reactivate it in one second. Wich forced him to use his Rinnegan to absorb Narutos attack when tossed out of his Sussannoo. So if we talk alive Itachi it's more like 80/20. Or 60/40 if we are generous and give Itachi prep time. And concider the chance to hit Koto or Tsykoyumi.
I think if they both have 1-hit kills, it basically comes down to speed. Since Obito is likely faster overall, even if they have about equal dodge speed, with his attack speed being higher, he wins. Especially since he can go intangible to avoid Kabuto's 1-hit. I'd also assume he has a higher Chakra reserve, so even if we go by Reaper Death Seal rules, he can pull out Kabuto's entire soul. But I gotta say, I didn't realize Kabuto was even relevant after the Tsunade stuff lol. I totally missed how big his amps were and stuff.
Prime Hanzo gets smacked his best feat is keeping up with chiyo who was said too be able too keep up with Kakashi dad who hype up too be stronger than the sannin together but Hiruzen has better feats not in prime anyways
If it's SM Kabuto without Edo Tensei, Obito wins Mid-diff. If it's SM Kabuto with Edo Tensei, I'd say Kabuto probably wins High-diff due to him being able to summon extremely powerful shinobi like Hashirama, Madara, Nagato, Itachi, etc. Yes, for characters like Madara or Hashirama he'd need to summon weaker forms for him to have full control over them. But in my opinion, even that would be enough to defeat Obito - if combined with other strong shinobi. But Sage Mode Kabuto is only strong enough to defeat White Mask Obito, considering Kabuto's wide arsenal of abilities and his biggest power - Edo Tensei. Ten Tails Obito would absolutely destroy Kabuto no matter what

Ok here are my thoughts before watching Both Itachi, Sasuke, and Kabuto weren't trying to kill each other so they probably weren't using there best killer moves so we don't know Kabuto's best moves Kabuto has no real stopping power to his attacks (that we see) and the ones we do see seem to work best in a cave Kabuto does has great speed and reaction feats against both Sasuke and Itachi I'm not sure about this but I imagine with the sensory power of a sage if Obito comes out of his dimension he will know where it happened Now Obito I'm assuming we are using not white mask Obito but I'll still go over certain things in less detail if he does Best speed feat I know of is saving Sasuke from the partial style while is was like a second before going off If it's in a cave Obito may actually reach that 5 minute limit to Kamui but if it's in the open I think he will be safe Obito has no real stopping power either but does have a lot of "win" condition moves A lot of moves we saw from Kabuto seem to debilitated his opponents so Obito can just leave for a bit and come back when it's over Ok some stuff more related to white mask Obito Those chains Rinnegan powers Greater power but possibly worse stamina (more guessing) He also had that fan

One of the HUGE reasons kabuto can dodge, and he literally says this, is liquifing his body into snakes. Contorting his body. He doenst need to dodge the same way people would have to move their whole body out of the way. He can just shift parts of his body. Hes not actually THAT fast. If that makes sense. Super fast, but that's playing a huge factor.
not really because the jinchuriki arent even nearly as half a power boost than madara uchiha, hashirama senju, tobirama senju, minato and hiruzen lol. nagato too. everyone except tobirama or hiruzen solos the jinchuuriki alone
okay so in a 1v1: no ghetto statue, no reanimations(including the jinchuriki), or any side hoe shenanigans Just some extra salt to throw on the pile here. Sound Genjutsu from a Sage(and some toads) effected both Sharingan and Rinnegan users and neither one could do anything about it to counter it other then putting themselves in a genjutsu(in regards to Itachi and Sasuke). This could very well end the match on it's own. the fact both weren't in eyesight doesn't really matter and if anything it makes it more impressive that the sound was strong enough and potent enough at a range. Another note is that the sound can still reach them even if they block their ears. So it can effect Obito as long as he isn't in Kamui. Since he can control earth he can make better acoustics for his sound. He has anti-Hashirama poison and can most likely aerosolize it and turn it breathable, which ruins Obitos "tanking" feats or outright reduces him to paste since it's the only thing holding half his organs in and keeping his body upright. Kabuto can very easily ruin any of Obitos attempted soul suck or trying to pull him into Kamui by literally just shoving a spike up bruhs ass anytime he tries any of it. which includes trying to slurp any of his Jutsu, since he has to turn solid to use Kamui. The best chance Obito has; is if he doesn't get Dragon'd to use Izanami/Izanagi REAL FAST and just cheat code his way to victory, though Izanami has a build up... take that how you will. If he uses the Dragon and follows up with a flute it's just over, no Kamui/Izanagi/Izanami can be used to stop it and now he's in a genjutsu, he has all the time in the world to eat him while he's stunned and end things right there and gain a free Rinnegan and Sharingan. hell his earth manipulation is already a big enough threat to most opponents, just one yoink and now you are buried deep into the earth, where he can bone spike you and eat your chakra. Bonus: I didn't want to throw too much theory into my salt list, but if he has Sakon and Ukon inside him. One of them can just climb inside Obito and eat him inside out and there's no amount of Kamui in the world to stop it. Another theoretical is that he also probably has some lab experiments just chilling in a cave ready to be his respawn point if he isn't Izanami'd or Ultimate Sukiyome takes place.
oh and Obito probably has no idea about ANY of his abilities other then the reanimations. So it's not like he's gonna see any of this stuff coming and I doubt Kabuto is going to play around with him as much as he did Itachi and Sasuke.
Hashirama might not have a healing factor and instead his body just used healing ninjutsu on himself subconsciously and with out weaving a single hand sign.
Re: Kakashi vs Obito, Kakashi had a huge advantage in that fight that KCM1 Naruto didn't, namely Obito couldn't use kamui to phase through attacks. Obito is only OP because you can't hit him, once you take that away, while strong, he is only about Kakashi level.
I see a lot of debates in the comments that are just sentences going back and forth. If you don't even have the intellect to be able to type atleast a competent paragraph, don't bother. Obitos gonna win most of the fights he gets in unless hes fighting like maybe hashirama or Kaguya. Yeah he might be able to beat madara, cry about it. Feel Obito is so underrated in terms of his strength. He isnt anywhere near the hashirama or madara level characters, but literally everyone else he can contend with or beat. Kamui is just so ridiculously broken, if youre even a tiny bit slower than obito, or dont have a teleportation jutsu, he needs to touch you once and you instantly lose. Attacking him while getting kamuid doesnt work because the attack also gets absorbed too.
I honestly think he's close to being relative to madara when it comes to them just being in base form.

The quality of your video’s is getting better. This one felt a lot more polished. The editing was good and I believe you had it scripted or at the very least planned. The sound effects were a little too much at times tho. Besides that the editor did rlly good on this one.
Before I watch this, I'd say the Kabuto fight is the more important fight. In order for the rest of the Shinobi to go help the fight later, including Sasuke, you need the edo soldiers off the battle. And if it wasn't for Madara being hax it would have ended the series so much sooner.

This is something I’ve always wondered. If Kabuto fought Obito’s Edo jinchuriki could he regain control of them by rewriting the spell tags in their heads? The narrative present it as very much a viable option against Itachi meaning it can even bypass Kotoamatsukami.
Where Kabuto is is sort of hard to place he’s definitely way above KCM1 tier characters like he just dunks on Sasuke so many times during that fight; overpowers his Katons with Great Waterfall so hard that it forces him out of his Susanoo, was basically gonna no-diff Sasuke with White Rage had itachi not been there. I think I’d scale him to the “Neo-Sannin Tier” where Mastered KCM1 Naruto/Byakugou Sakura/EMS Sasuke after the Kabuto fight fight without his highest susanoo forms and Guy/Kakashi from the Obito fight go. Obito is super busted though and has underrated raw power via Katon, the only way I see Kabuto landing a clean hit is via abusing the sound 5s abilities & Mugen Onsa and then probably Muki Tensei or even his poison that nullifies Mokuton.
I think he could also dispel Edotensei. This wasn't an option against Itachi because he wanted to uphold the war effort, but if he fought Obito, he could just dissolve his paths with basically no effort if he doesn't get greedy.

It would be uncharacteristic for Kabuto to teach Obito Edotensei. Kabuto was all about having all the cards in his hands, and they both insisted on keeping their secrets as closely held as possible.

You forgot to mention that Kabuto has access to a venom that nullifies the 1st hokage's DNA. Used against obito, this would shut him down, since Obito's body is held together by the 1st's DNA.

For me its strange that 6 jinchuriki are given to Obito. Initially we see them in Kabuto's coffins, so he reanimated them, that is why they can use their techniques. Obito just put rods in them, but Kabuto's seals are probably inside their heads as well. So in that case its questionable, who will they listen to. I imagine the sitution when Obito appears with 6 jinchuriki against Kabuto and Kabuto just returns them to coffins as he did with other edos at night, leaving Obito 1v1 against him xD

obito literally has the ability to extract souls, one touch from him and kabuto is done for
Kamui dimension would not work on Kabuto since he could reverse summoning his way out of the dimension with his snake. Similar to what Sasuke did on Deidara and was about to do when trapped inside Six Path Obito barrier. Kabuto senjutsu would just overwhelmed Obito ninjutsu so his best chance would come at only using Taijutsu and Rennegan abilities to counter Sage Mode. Now base on feats it does seem Sage Mode reflexes counters Sharingan precognition.

I think that even with Edo Tensei Obito can counter it by transforming all the Jinchuriki into their tailed beast states and summoning the Gedo Mazo, having multiple giant beasts that can deal with the crowd of dead fighters, or just use his fire style jutsu that is strong enough to oblitirate most edo characters, also Obito's speed advantage really makes it hard to argue Kabuto would take advantage of the Kamui openings, because his attack speed is relative to people inferior to Obito's speed, while Kabuto could take the win with his venom that incapacitates Hashirama cells or other insta-win attacks, it's more likely that Obito dodges them rather thanKabuto dodging his own attacks, even if you want to equate Kabuto's reaction speed to Obito's his attack and movement speed being inferior is a big advantage to Obito's kamui, overall i think Obito would take it.

I think if it's just Obito vs Kabuto, then I think Obito takes it. However, if Kabuto decides to use edotensei in the fight and summon some of his big hitters like the previous kage, akatsuki members and other legendary ninja, then I think he'd probably win. Creating more noise for obito to have to deal with would make it much harder to counter attack and deal with any of them, or even leave his kamui phase state resulting in him being much more worn out.
When I saw the video, I almost dismissed it as a clear victory for Obito, but the more I thought about it, the more intrigued I got and wanted to see if there were thing I may have dismissed regarding each of the participants power sets. Glad I watched this.
The only way Obito can win that is by ripping out their souls mid fight. That would be very difficult with Kabuto.

Even if Kabuto can bury the statue with the earth technique, Obito can always summon that monster back.

Kabuto wouldn’t have to deal with the gedo personally . Any of its attacks, kabuto can tank , respawn a new body and move on. He has multiple edos that could fight the statue , like someone in this thread already said , the 3rd raikage could easily blitz the statue . The 2nd tsuchikages particle style could instantly cause the statue to vanish , he has the 4th and possibly the 3rd kazekages magnet style to use near unlimited amounts of sand anyway he wants to subdue the statue , etc.

Dragon Sage Kabuto was the most powerful character for that brief moment in the story. Obito did not want to join forces with Kabuto, but was forced to because at that moment he knew he did not have the power to take him. Obito was hinging his bets on the power up from becoming the ten tails vessel to overcome the threat of Kabuto and Madara. Kabuto was well researched. It took a jutsu he had no idea of to stop him. He was confident he could take Sasuke and Itachi effortlessly until he ran into izanami and izanagi. There would have been no Rinnigan power Obito could have used that Kabuto didn’t learn from Naguto and Konan had Kamui figured out I’m sure Kabuto did too. Only the introduction of new power up’s made anyone surpass Kabuto. He was just unlucky to run into Itachi as his first opponent from the war. Now if Obito could use izanami too the outcome would be the same as Itachi. But judging his reaction when the reanimation jutsu was released, I’m going to say he had no idea how to stop it and was definitely banking on the Jubi power to help.
He joined Kabuto because of Madara. Literally every other edo tensei did not matter to him
Edo Tensei Madara was the only reason why orange mask Obito accepted Kabuto's offer to join and "ask Sasuke a few questions" (Kabuto's words). He reanimated 5 Akatsuki members, including the heaviest hitters like Nagato and Itachi and he neither budged, flinched nor sweated. I love Pain/Nagato but even I have to agree that 1v1...he'd get stomped hard (knows all the 6 Rinnegan abilities, trained by Madara on how to use a wide variety of jutsu, including forbidden and ocular jutsu).
For the people who think that Itachi would take him 1v1, Edo Itachi is healthier than alive sick Itachi but he's potentially weaker...and most important, Itachi after finding out that Obito told Sasuke about his life, he truly feared what Obito knew (actual sweat and worried look on Itachi's face...when he's usually confident or has a poker face). This moment is mention to counter the misinterpretation of Obito wondering if Itachi knew more about him. On top of not knowing how crazy powerful Rinnegan Obito became, he'd have been taken out by him or the 6 other Perfect Jinchūriki with shared Rinnegan. Obito is relative to Edo Madara and Madara, the most powerful Uchiha to have ever lived is way too much for sick or Edo Itachi
I think the power-up Sage mode gives to a user is underrated. Naruto hit jubi Obito with one Sage mode regular rasengan and damaged him. When nothing else was working. Kabuto was not using any of his real Sage mode strength because he wanted to rewrite Itachi’s tag and capture Sasuke. If he was serious even a brief moment like when he caught them in the genjutsu would have been enough time for him to finish them off. Sage mode would give a buff to every person he had inside him and he wasn’t just milling around any ninja. Sound ninja 4, Kimimaru, Orochimaru, team heavy. Kabuto was walking around with the power of people who could rival jinjurikis and then he added a Sage mode buff to that. JS I don’t think we are giving him credit. Obito was worried that’s why he didn’t trust him in the first t place. And Obito is known to underestimate his opponents like Konan, Minato, Naruto. Kabuto would have wrecked orange mask Obito in that meeting without any of the reanimated ninja he could use . He joined with Obito for easier access to Sasuke. Because Obito was hiding Sasuke.

Kabuto with edo would be more challenging to fight but obito still win. The chakra rod are effective against edo , with kamui obito can dodge the edo attack or send them somewhere else .

@Six you'd have to take away the 6 biju away from obito to even make it a 1v1 so it's really Kabuto vs obito and six jinchuriki. Also don't think Kabuto has a way around kamui.
Obito upholding his pact to not attack the leaf doesn't mean he thinks Itachi would kill him, it just means he would rather have Itachi on his side than be against him. Itachi was a useful weapon who followed the akatsuki, and since I think they're both equals this means the choice was between attacking the leaf then having to fight Itachi which is a 50/50 bet on your life, or using Itachi as a weapon until he inevitably dies from his MS then attacking the leaf freely. That's an easy choice.
I hadn't finished the video yet when I commented so to add more, fights are at a probability scale, not 100% winners. "Itachi could kill me and is a threat" doesn't mean "Itachi would kill me". Even 70/30 odds are bad and idk about you but I wouldn't bet my life on those odds, especially if it means losing my #1 or #2 (depending on how you feel about pain) weapon and getting nothing for it

And lastly Sussannoo is extremely easy to bypass for obito by just slipping ingo the ground and placing s bomb inside or straight uo slip up in the Susdannoo. As we know imperfect Sussannoo just build up around you. You are not connectef to it.
And as Madara has shown (Wjo is much more proficient at Sussannoo use) if its out you cannot deactivate it and reactivate it in one second. Wich forced him to use his Rinnegan to absorb Narutos attack when tossed out of his Sussannoo.
So if we talk alive Itachi it's more like 80/20. Or 60/40 if we are generous and give Itachi prep time.
And concider the chance to hit Koto or Tsykoyumi.
I think if they both have 1-hit kills, it basically comes down to speed. Since Obito is likely faster overall, even if they have about equal dodge speed, with his attack speed being higher, he wins. Especially since he can go intangible to avoid Kabuto's 1-hit. I'd also assume he has a higher Chakra reserve, so even if we go by Reaper Death Seal rules, he can pull out Kabuto's entire soul.
But I gotta say, I didn't realize Kabuto was even relevant after the Tsunade stuff lol. I totally missed how big his amps were and stuff.

If it's SM Kabuto without Edo Tensei, Obito wins Mid-diff. If it's SM Kabuto with Edo Tensei, I'd say Kabuto probably wins High-diff due to him being able to summon extremely powerful shinobi like Hashirama, Madara, Nagato, Itachi, etc. Yes, for characters like Madara or Hashirama he'd need to summon weaker forms for him to have full control over them. But in my opinion, even that would be enough to defeat Obito - if combined with other strong shinobi. But Sage Mode Kabuto is only strong enough to defeat White Mask Obito, considering Kabuto's wide arsenal of abilities and his biggest power - Edo Tensei. Ten Tails Obito would absolutely destroy Kabuto no matter what

Ok here are my thoughts before watching
Both Itachi, Sasuke, and Kabuto weren't trying to kill each other so they probably weren't using there best killer moves so we don't know Kabuto's best moves
Kabuto has no real stopping power to his attacks (that we see) and the ones we do see seem to work best in a cave
Kabuto does has great speed and reaction feats against both Sasuke and Itachi
I'm not sure about this but I imagine with the sensory power of a sage if Obito comes out of his dimension he will know where it happened

I'm assuming we are using not white mask Obito but I'll still go over certain things in less detail if he does
Best speed feat I know of is saving Sasuke from the partial style while is was like a second before going off

One of the HUGE reasons kabuto can dodge, and he literally says this, is liquifing his body into snakes. Contorting his body. He doenst need to dodge the same way people would have to move their whole body out of the way. He can just shift parts of his body. Hes not actually THAT fast. If that makes sense. Super fast, but that's playing a huge factor.

Just some extra salt to throw on the pile here.
Sound Genjutsu from a Sage(and some toads) effected both Sharingan and Rinnegan users and neither one could do anything about it to counter it other then putting themselves in a genjutsu(in regards to Itachi and Sasuke). This could very well end the match on it's own. the fact both weren't in eyesight doesn't really matter and if anything it makes it more impressive that the sound was strong enough and potent enough at a range. Another note is that the sound can still reach them even if they block their ears. So it can effect Obito as long as he isn't in Kamui. Since he can control earth he can make better acoustics for his sound.
He has anti-Hashirama poison and can most likely aerosolize it and turn it breathable, which ruins Obitos "tanking" feats or outright reduces him to paste since it's the only thing holding half his organs in and keeping his body upright.
Kabuto can very easily ruin any of Obitos attempted soul suck or trying to pull him into Kamui by literally just shoving a spike up bruhs ass anytime he tries any of it. which includes trying to slurp any of his Jutsu, since he has to turn solid to use Kamui.
The best chance Obito has; is if he doesn't get Dragon'd to use Izanami/Izanagi REAL FAST and just cheat code his way to victory, though Izanami has a build up... take that how you will.
If he uses the Dragon and follows up with a flute it's just over, no Kamui/Izanagi/Izanami can be used to stop it and now he's in a genjutsu, he has all the time in the world to eat him while he's stunned and end things right there and gain a free Rinnegan and Sharingan.
hell his earth manipulation is already a big enough threat to most opponents, just one yoink and now you are buried deep into the earth, where he can bone spike you and eat your chakra.
Bonus: I didn't want to throw too much theory into my salt list, but if he has Sakon and Ukon inside him. One of them can just climb inside Obito and eat him inside out and there's no amount of Kamui in the world to stop it.
Another theoretical is that he also probably has some lab experiments just chilling in a cave ready to be his respawn point if he isn't Izanami'd or Ultimate Sukiyome takes place.
oh and Obito probably has no idea about ANY of his abilities other then the reanimations. So it's not like he's gonna see any of this stuff coming and I doubt Kabuto is going to play around with him as much as he did Itachi and Sasuke.
