We did this one today! I watched your video the day before to scope out what we were in for. You weren’t kidding when you said it was steep! I don’t know how you came down in the dark like that! It was raining today and with the leaves and rain it was slippery on the way down!! Thanks for the video it was very helpful 😊
That’s awesome! I really liked Hunter! And yes it was steep! Lol I was lucky enough to have met that nice volunteer on top to show me the cabin and to keep the cabin open for a sunset! I couldn’t thank her enough. But thats what my channel is all about, helping people out through these hikes and challenges through life! Just hearing that makes all the hard work worth it! And yes hiking back in the dark can be tricky but it’s the noises you hear sometimes that will get you! 😳lol thanks for watching! Happy hiking! 🥾
@@kenlewis4524 never been to Colorado, but everyone I’ve talked to that has been there says you will never want to come back to New York! That’s what I’m afraid of. Lol that being said no matter where my path in life ends up the Adirondacks and Catskills will always be home to me! Thanks for watching!
@@exploringwithdan7876 I spent 67 years in NY but wanted to be in Colorado while I still had enough fitness to enjoy. You can visit and still enjoy NY as they are very different. The weather here is amazing even in Winter. Don't miss it even for vacations. Enjoy.

I spent 40 plus years in the area skiing and hiking. I am in Colorado now but still miss this area for sure.
