one thing to note and dont quote me I haven't actually experienced this but somebody was saying when you run the batteries in paralell the lipo cut off may not work correctly because it reads it as ONE big battery. but i couldn't agree more, rear steer on most trucks is such a money pit. ive probably spent double the cost of the truck to put 4ws on my trx4m, i can't imagine doing it on an scx6, my servo alone was almost $300! i took apart my 6 last week for a thorough maintenance session and just to get it back to good running condition will be close to $300 between all new bearings, shock towers and ds foams
I love the scx6 as well. I have a straight axle and a portal rig. I agree the larger scale is a lot more fun for me personally. You won’t do as much wild Brapping with a 2k rig at 25lbs.
Definitely not a highspeed machine. The guys over at adikitiv are building scx6 bouncers that are super light weight. I need to do a video on one of those soon!
Sweet build, I'd like to step up to 1/6 at some point. Your never done adding stuff, like you said you could do some refining on your cage. Maybe pick a color to paint the cage that'd go well with the orange like nardgo grey.
I really love the 1/6th stuff, it feels and drive better than 1/10 for me. I always found myself using really heavy 1/10th cars to get the feel I wanted. Yep the cage could definitely use some more love. I think i will keep it steel-it grey so I can weld directly on top of it.

This is true, but hopefully everything pulls in parallel. I’m gonna do an update soon.
The truck has had a couple of big runs on it and does amazing!

Thats the nice thing about this hobby. You do what you want to do. I have about $2500 in Vitavon parts on my SCX6 Honcho.
Absolutely!

Hope to see more stuff about these. Just got a used one and I'm already pouring money into it lol... Vitavon isn't cheap
The mistake is building one, if you can't tell.. lol too much money spent.
