Vitavon Axles are so awesome, thanks for showing them close up and walking through them, cost is crazy to get them in Canada, will have to find another option, maybe the treal set as they are easier to get here in Canada and half the cost. don't get me wrong would rather have the Vitavon's.
Just ordered my vitavon axles as long as with a lot of other vitavon parts for my scx6 so hyped ! It was very expensive I’ve spent so far 2,500$ on a 1,100 RC agh crazy
Could you give me a link to your work stand for the scx6? Been looking for one but mainly find 1/10, 1/8 scale, the one you have seems to stand your truck with good clearance.
@@upgradedrc3697 what’s the purpose of having a limited slip when off roading or crawling? Other than turning sharper. Real 1/1 vehicles lock up front and rear to get the most grip…I would think it would be the same in the RC world too.
It sounded to me very similar to a detroit locker but the detroit only "slips" when power is applied very lightly like when you are making a tight turn. If you are harder on the throttle then the gears lock together and wont slip at all. Obviously in this video it was doing the reverse of what it is supposed to do so i doubt the diff is designed like a detroit locker. Pleasure meeting you today sir! Thanks for the stickers
Your welcome, hope to crawl with you again soon.
This Beast is looking and preforming better every week, love it🤩
i've seen on ebay a complete metal frame upgrade including the new 5 transfercase which cost twice more than the stock car itself.. very interesting

I'm around $4500. So far, but have enough parts going on it to equal $7500.
@@upgradedrc3697have you figured out a good diff cover for the vitavon axle ?
Looks good! The awesome video was overshadowed by the mess in the top of that toolbox. 😅
I'm planning to have an scx6 but knowing how much it cost to get an upgrade, but I really love this kind of hobby though..
Why didn’t you get vitavon to anodize them purple?
Where those axle spaces go that come with little bolt from vitavon
I think you are referring to the spacers between the hub and axel. I show them on the video and where they go

I made that stand!
What was all the clicking towards the end of the video during the rock climbing? Sounded like gears slipping?
Nope, that was the limited slip diff working good. (Slipping). That's why I replaced them with lockers in the next video.

Yes, I did the limited slip for people who requested it. Abd wanted to know how it worked.

the metal diff house upgrade cost the same as brand new stock scx6.
@@earlskie2u no, both axels only cost me $700.00
Has anyone found a good diff cover for vitavon axles ?
Why not get portal axles?
I have portals on a lot of my builds. I am just going for a smoother ride on this one.😎🤙
Looks like axial and losi starting to copy traxxas, gotta buy shit you don’t need so you can get the one screw you need 🤦🏻♂️
It’s yeah racing…. Not young racing 😂
i know, where did you see young?
@@upgradedrc3697 you said it in the video
Ya I hear it now. good catch!
@@upgradedrc3697 actually said it twice 😂
Can't believe I did that. I think i had a different company on my mind, lol
