I been watching so many TH-cam golfers and none of them have changed my swing as much as your video with the 4inch infront that’s how the pros swing. Well that video changed my swing and in the same week I broke 80. Thank you so much!!!!
Steve, the best drill I have ever used - Thank you Just used this drill for every iron shot on a round - took 6 shots off yesterday’s score Looking forward to continuing with this 👍👍 thanks again, love your videos
Got a lesson from Steve at Peebles at the end of March. Handicap was 6.3 and getting higher. Started working on Eureka fundamentals and keeping this angle at impact. Handicap now 3.4. Quality of strike with irons is amazing. Low point of swing now infront of the ball and flight is great 👍 Thank you Steve 🙏
Got this top from my club assistant during a lesson at the start of this season! Found i was keeping my hands to far behindthe ball at impact, whatca difference!! Another great video Steve! 👍
Hi, Steve. Great tip 👍🏻 I watched this video yesterday when you posted it. I went out this morning and shot one under par at my course. The conditions weren’t that great, ground very soft after heavy rains, steady light rain for second half of the round. I am delighted with the adjustment. It’s the club championship this weekend, hopefully I can hit it the same as today. Thanks a lot Steve.
I first came across this idea about twenty years ago in a book called “Simply Golf: Basic To Basics” by Australian Steve Bann who had coached Allenby, Appleby and Scott. He called it “Set-Up is Impact” meaning you need to consciously understand where the body, hands and club head need to be at impact in order to get the body there reflexively during the swing. That concept helped me a great deal and now helping beginners understand how a golf swing should work the first thing I’ll do is pose them statically in the “pro” impact position by having them hold the club in just their lead hand, then reposition it first in the open hip to target pro impact then ask them to put their right hand on the club without moving the left. It is of course impossible to get into the pro impact position without side bending the spine and making them realize that - as happened to me when following Bann’s advice - is the point of that drill.
I have done this drill many years. I call it going to “fake impact”! My tip would be that when you push handle forward at impact it naturally opens the face. So my grip is strong to counteract this. Or you could bow the left wrist in the downswing. Great lesson my friend!!
If the angle from the trail arm through clubshaft is the same at impact as at setup, doesn’t that mean the LEAD ARM is STRAIGHT? (… as IT is at setup?) 🤷🏼♂️ in line with clubshaft? Good stuff 👍🏻 I’ve never really heard about the trail arm at impact (other than it should be slightly bent and not straight) “Put yourself in impact position, relax, then play the shot back in impact position” … I like it 👍🏻 “Ball first strike” … sounded so SOLID 👊🏻 I AM going to focus on this tomorrow. Thanks 🙏🏻
Hi Steve. Are there any other accredited Eureka Golf Swing coaches? I would like an in person lesson but Peebles is a bit of trek and I can't really make Tuesdays or Thursdays. Thanks.
Great video Steve, love it!🎉 have signed up for VIP, Just FYI video states 20% but web site say 15%, no biggie as far as I’m concerned but others may call you a “Dick”, just thought I’d let you know. Keep going buddy, love your down to earth content💪💪
Faldo's wrist-preset drill helps. It feels like the wrists are in the impact position, so you have to keep turning through the shot to get the club head to the ball.
Steve, you obviously don't golf with a league of hackers if you really want to see gyrations and practice swings before they pull the trigger. a little impact fix doesn't even approach dickness.
There are no secrets in the golf swing to make you a better ball striker. Learn the basic fundamentals of the setup and swing. Remember this, the golf swing is one continuous motion.

What happened to straight arm swing, you tried 3 videos ago
Last years Amateur Champ Christo Lamprecht has a little impact fox rehearsal in his swing if you have a look. 👍
Steve you said in your video to join the VIP list and get 20% off your first order then when you click on the link it says 15% 🤷♂
Ps, getting some typing lessons from him next week!!!!
😂😂
I think 5, but the first few I thought you were saying "duck" with an accent, so I may be low.
I miss the left-handed videos. Have you given up on it?
I think the term you're looking for is "Downswing waggle"
Lol that was brilliant and funny big man tried at the range my mates i look like a dik lol but im smashing it dead straight 👍
For a golf video it had an exceptionally high DIK content😂😂😂😂😂😂

Doesn't bother Wolf looking a bit weird so I am doing it.
