- Hey team, we are heading back to civilization to stock up a bit and explore some of the things to there are to do in and around the Coromandel town.
We visit the beloved water works theme park and the Waiau Water falls which made for a great swim
We also popped into the local Art exhibition to check out some of the local talent.

Awesome video. I loved all of it. I didn’t feel like it was missing a thing. Great trip whanau! Can’t wait for the next one.
This has made me so homesick! Coromandel was my home for many years! A trip home needs to be soon! Thanks for a wonderful peek at my cute town!
Oh that's a great comment 👍 thanks for that... where are you currently,? Overseas?
@@leopardsgowild no only Auckland!
@@janiehemphill7469 so close, but so far away
Thanks for showing us the area. What a magic part of NZ. Lots to do in the Coromandel aye
Theres heaps to do there alright. Although if you had a week of bad weather it would be a pretty challenging holiday I think. We stayed here a few years back at a place called PapaAroha, and it was just blowing it's guts out, this was pre caravan for us so after 2 nights of hardly any sleep because of the wind, we packed up and left... Out of the few other campers there, our tent was the only one that survived.
The Leopards, really going wild at the water park, looked like a lot of fun, ENJOYED ,, Nothing like getting dad wet 😂😂, Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺
yea I know right, although I did a pretty good job of getting myself wet. Thanks Bevan. Sure was a good couple of days in Coromandel town.
Thanks for showing the water park. We’ve always wanted to go there but couldn’t justify the cost but it looks like good fun. We really like the Turkish restaurant in Coromandel. They do great felafel and baklava. Great video guys.
we enjoyed some coromandel town takeaways after being up further north... I think retail therapy may have been part of it... It's nice to just pick up a meal aye.
*Oh wow, that water park looks amazing. It seems really low budget and thrown together but so much fun*
Its like a bunch of Dads thought of what would make their kids have a great time and laugh... I'm sure no one will read this comment, but, that maze actually had no way out, another joke, they also had a walk to a spring, which stated "waterworks is powered by a large spring" you do a little short walk and there is an actual large mechanical spring... Just classic.
@@leopardsgowild hahaha thats awesome.
Wow 👌 that water 💧 park is the bomb 💣 another top 👏 blog keep them rolling 👌 ka pai whanau
Your the man bro... I'm really enjoying this next one I'm Making It's sure is a good one. Stay safe bro!
great post - thanks for sharing
Thanks Catherine. hope your well and enjoying life in these interesting covid times for our country aye... Blessings, from the Leopards
Just found your channel and finding it fun and informative. Thank you for sharing
Awesome glad your enjoying it 😀 😊
Looks like fun.
For sure, was lots of fun. Was nice to take it slow, although we love swimming and being at the beach, needed some chill time. We always try to make the most of our time when we are away... Will see how we go when we are full time travelling.
This was fun to watch! We went on the 309 road not too long ago. We didn't do the Waterworks. We weren't sure if it was worth the money. It was neat seeing how much fun you guys had. We visited the waterfall. It was freezing when we were there. Only one of us jumped in.
I was planning to not swim, but I couldn't resist, wasn't the hottest day, when we were there. I really loved the waterworks Park though, it was well worth checking out.... I think if it was busy it wouldn't be so good. There a lots of little traps etc, which you would see from the people before you if it was busy, so the surprises would be gone.
Beautiful content as always 😃
Thank you so much 😀
Great to see the episode yes some more drones would be good but there are areas where it’s a no go cheers👍
Thanks for taking the time to comment mate. Love some good drone footage aye. I'm always all eyes, when watching some other channels. Looking forward to doing some drone flying down south in those amazing mountainous valleys.
hellloooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! perfect amount of beauty and epic stuff bro!!! you always leave us waiting to see what yall will do next!!! that toilet park is my kinda place hahahahhaha, glad you guys are living it !!!! see yah in the next 1!
HEEEYYY MAN!!! The next video is going to be awesome bro, got some great content in the next one. Spring must be in the air now... Our days are getting noticeably shorter and cooler days and mornings now.
@@leopardsgowild so weird , should be 80 and sunny everywhere always... look forward to seeing what you guys do next!
Love that water park, but you are right - it’s very old school! Lol
Have you been there before?
@@leopardsgowild no but it looks like our kind of place. 😀
Still a great video, showcasing an area I'm yet to explore. I guess moving inland gets away from those stunning beach vistas
Yea it's a bit of commercialism in this video... Inland has some amazing scenary, our next video in the Kauarenga valley was beautiful. Got some great shots in there. I do love the beach though... I really can't wait to capture the mountains down south and looking at those wide rivers.
Saw the 309 Rd when I was up that way. Wondered what it was all about.
Its about old school roads, lol... Was very windy and Narrow and gravel. But quite a few interesting spots, should have had a better look at the maps cause I would have been keen to check out some of the Kauri forest spots.
@@leopardsgowild did you go right through to the Whitianga end? That's the end I saw it from. But I was only up there for the day. Them my Mum died the next day so have been in HB since. Should be back in Tauranga in the next day or two.
