Sturgill deserves airplay,this is country. One of the best bands and group off players I've heard in a long time, his music gives you the soul satisfaction when you hear it.
Saw him last night at Harlows in Sacramento, a club about the size of this one. Next time he's in town, it will be at a much larger venue, guaranteed. I feel lucky to have caught him at this stage of his career. Dude is legit.

The band put boot heels on the dance floor, which is kinda the point of The Broken Spoke. Are you one of those people who only go see acts that have been pre-blessed as being cool then you sit in a chair all night with your arms crossed while you carefully weigh facts determining if YOU find them cool or not instead of grabbing a gal friend or two and hitting the dance floor where you might risk making a total fool of yourself and scuffing your toe? If so, I will be seeing you in some joint some night. I'll be the one having more fun than you.

Part of me is upset Sturgill is playing such a small place , but it is the Broken Spoke, non-the-less This man deserves to be up there with the New Superstars like Chris Stapleton and the others! These boys have paid there due's….
+J.D Truths A lot of well established Performers play The Broken Spoke. It is considered to be an honor to play there, not unlike Gruene Hall or Floore's Country Store. The size of the venue and crowd does not detract from this fact in any way. Sturgill is awesome and I enjoy turning Folks on to his Music.
This is so awesome. But a little hard to watch.. Playing a bar like this and no one caring about it. Heartbreaking. He's one of my all time favorites. And he was 'on' on this performance. As he always is. As amazing as this performance is i'm not watching it again. Love you sturgill
+Nick Hale I've got the opposite reaction. I see all these shows with no one in the audience dancing. This song is a great two step song. At least these Texas brothers can dance

Instead you will be forced to watch him in an arena somewhere. I hate that about when artists get big. No matter how good their music is I despise a place where you can't take a lady to dance and have a great time listening to great music.
