YES ! This looks incredible and as soon as it was mentioned that the Novitates might get some love too, I knew I was on-board with this idea to the max! Fighting Chaos in a Bombed out Cathedral against the (possible ?) former Occupiers in the form of the Novitate now seeking revenge on Chaos would be incredible.

Yes, make the Sisters kill team! They're one of the coolest factions, and I'm absolutely starving for this channel to put out more than a couple battle reports a year. I know you can't do them too often due to the huge amount of production that goes into them, but that's exactly why they stand head and shoulders above all the other warhammer channels.
This is coming along really well, you guys are doing a great job. My suggestions would be - fallen sheafs of propaganda/echlesiarchy sermons scattered over the floors (perhaps moldy old looking ones?), and modular sections of fallen rooftop that can function as barricades or standing points for models within the cathedral - my own honoured imperium set looks awesome but the central fountain and cathedral floor ends up being a giant killzone that is very hard to manoeuvre killteams across with anything like tactics - it's mostly just charge them up to the shootier side and hope enough make it through to punch in some faces!

It all looks awesome! The cathedral looks darker than I thought it would, but otherwise it's all coming out really well. I think the mosaic was worth the extra effort :D
I would love a sisters of battle painting video and another battle report.
That mosaic idea is amazing. The grid is a great way to do a kind of free hand design but still be able to follow a guide. I'll have to try that myself
I've been working on a novitiate kill team for my wife on and off for a while. I'd love to see your take on them. It would motivate me to finish too.
Great project! Very hyped for the rest of the cathedral pieces, specially that pipe organ! It would be pretty cool if at least one side of the ruins is vandalized by chaos cultists, but I really hope you respect the statue, it's such a beautiful piece and it really gives a hopeful note in such a ruined place. Keep at it, this is one of the coolest ongoing projects in the channel!

The Emperor protects. That includes statues. There are a number of cases where a holy relic is untouched by the effects of time. It makes the importance of the statue even more important.

10:49 A small tip for future Mosaics, I personally use Leatherette sheet/sticker. They're cheap and they give a much more organic look to the mosaic. Very useful if you want yours to look less like a swimming pool mosaic or a Pixel art drawing, an more like an ancient creation :)

Okay I don't watch your channel as much as I would like, but for the suggestion of defaming the statue of the Sister of Battle. For me the answer is a resounding NO, NO WAY, NO HOW, NO WHAT EVER!!! She's a representative of the Emperor Mankind.
MAKE THE CHAOS PLAYER "DESACRATE" THE STATUE !!!! Cool video idea IMO and gives your sisters a reason to fight :)
Painting them up is cool... but I want a Sisters vs. Alpha Legion batrep! Never seen either of them on Kill Team before, so it'd be REALLY fun to see deception and misdirection vs. sheer faith...and lots of flame and melta.
EDIT: If you're gonna ruin the statue because of the taint of Chaos, it'd have to be REALLY obvious which god's minions were responsible for the mess. Nurgle would have all sorts of disgusting life sprouting off it and a sickly green all around, Slaanesh...would have spikes and purple everywhere, and Khorne... there would be skulls, bones, and blood (and a menacing shade of red)everywhere. Tzeentch I think would be a tad difficult given Tzeentch's tendency to mutate EVERYTHING his minions touch into something inexplicably weird, so I'll leave that up to you.

The plants and ivy rule! Really makes this set of terrain stand out from all the other bombed gothic ruins out there.
I love this project, it all works so nicely. The fountain and statue is stunning.... now I need to build my own cathedral for my Sororitas army. Can't wait to see the completed build.

For an idea: how about adding a graveyeard/mausoleum to the catherdral, or an entrance to some catacombs (like a down under second level game board)?
As if the Sister still had something to protect/recover down under the catherdral.
If... IF! you do infest the cathedral and statue with chaos, make sure that the head and pond clean.
As if even after being completely corrupted by chaos, whoever was doing so before, they just can't help themselves.
You can corrupt the mind and body, but they can never corrupt this routine.
Incorporate the Alpha Legion symbol in some way. The context could be that this cathedral was destroyed in an uprising instigated by the Alpha Legion.
A serie about Sororitas sounds great. They are greatly underrated.
As for suggestions: maybe include some industrial promenade or barricades, something that was obviously added AFTER the fall of the cathedral to be used as a stronghold by those who found themselves in battle in there, maybe even some remnant of those who died there (like those GW dead Space Marinses)
I remember buying the original sisters squad models when they first came out, they were awesome but I never got around to painting them and somewhere in the last 20 something years they’ve disappeared. I’m so glad they’re still around, their 90’s codex was fantastic.
I think the graffiti idea would be really cool and a neat indicator of passing time, but not if it's going to make Jenn so sad 😂

All this video does is both ignite my creativity and desire to continue with the hobby, and highlight my lack of talent, funds, and/or originality. Don't mind that, just me being dumb.
That aside, great showcase, can't wait to see what's next, and I can't help but wonder what Dave and Jen's relationship is. We've seen them together many times, but either it hasn't been mentioned, or it has and I haven't seen it.

Not trying to be a jerk, however this video has a lot of audio issues that I found distracting. Things like clipping, a lack of de-essing Made it very difficult to focus on what was being said.
You know, if you sprinkled some fine flock into the resin while it was wet, you could have a great algae effect for the water.
Also, there's a far cheaper option for lillypads.
I've taken a 3x5 card, painted it up with a mix of different greens towards a more green-yellow, then went to town on it with normal hole punch (The kind used for putting in the holes for binders or rings). Then cut a notch out, then hit the top of your water effects (when dry) with polyeurethane gloss and put them in and then give them a light coat of the gloss over the top
YES! This looks incredible. This is the stuff that makes me so pumped to play some Kill Team and inspires me to make a custom KT board based around my custom Space Marine chapter. More content like this please!
This cathedral project is fascinating to me. I can see that there's a middle part still left to finish, so you can divide it into two videos (a left wing and a right wing of the cathedral) or treat it as one centre piece. And a base floor would connect it super well. As far as the graffiti goes, maybe there are tags of the army that made the ruins? Hmm definitely it could also use some scatter terrain in the final stages - pieces of roof or pillars that used to be there before in the past, in the days of glory when the cathedral stood proudly, untouched by destruction. Again, super fascinating ^^
Would anyone know how to install an LED light to the Saint Celestine statue? Can't find any tutorials on youtube, and it would be a rather expensive accident if messed up.

I don't know about the graffiti because it doesn't gel with the setting for me. If someone is coming over or came over a while ago to desecrate the Cathedral then that either means that it has enough people around it so it wouldn't be abandoned per say. On the contrary if it was done a while ago why would they not come back? (which could be a plot point I suppose) However just having a ruined Cathedral with nature talking its natural course has a vibe that should not be meddled with really.
I have decided to get into Kill Team as well, I think it'll scratch my ith considering I have Necron army gathering dust. I think smaller teams will be more manageable .

I love this project and enjoy the cathedral. I like the idea of theme on each video and so far you are knocking it out of the park on these! But my personal love is for the tyrranids and unfortunately it looks like nobody at Tabletop Time plays the bugs. . So I would love to at least see a cultist take over as part of the cathedral theme with some alien eggs laid. . . Don't have to build a whole tyrranid army but add some tyrranids for those bug lovers of us!!!

You know, I would love that chaos thing, but to not waste the perfectly good model, you could 3d scan and print it. You’d have to re paint it though.
Maybe some ancient decrepit servitors are taking care of the fountain. The cathedral has fallen and the surviving servitors are trying to sweep up the rubble.

Just a thought but if you wanted to corrupt the statue arrangement without ruining all your hard work of the original, you could get a second fountain printed? Perhaps part of the wall has been ripped out and the water has become murky and dark, perhaps dark sacrifices have been laid in the water, strange fleshy moss has started to grow around it while she still stands untouched, whether because a still benevolent force just gently prevents them or because a different kind of "divine" tender to the garden has taken a liking to it
Now, if you want to maybe chaos up something, without ruining your lovely statue, you could always print a separate base and make a more corrupted fountain base beneath it. The statue is blessed, so the taint can't touch it, but maybe the area around it might be reflecting some taint the Sisters have to cleanse

you ahould check out noch leaves. they are awesome for mying small single leaf ivy. i use them with craft rope like the kind on hey bales. lol. just spray them with some spray adhesive and shack on some leaves. super easy and messy lol.

It is the 40k universe so why not incorperate a tank of dreadnaught into one of the pieces like it was driven into the church and buried in rubble as the occupants tried to escape, maybe it happened so long ago the plant life is beginning to reclaim over take it.
Definitely can’t wait to see the finished church. As a fellow sister of battle player I can most certainly say a kill team sisters of battle vs chaos would be awesome to watch.
Looking great! If the battle is between sisters and cultists it would be cool to have an Alpha Legionnaire hidden in the shadows watching the battle.
I'd say, if you can, get a second copy of that model to ruin, and change it out depending on if you win that Kill Team match.

I love the complete set of the terrain, especially the mozaik is a really cool touch, only the fountain pipes bug me a bit.

the 3d printed fountain looks like the printer might be under extruding.
Sisters do not really love Marines, as they often see them as mutants and abominations and since half of them fell to chaos, it creates a lot of mistrust. Also taking into account that a lot of chapters do not see Emps as god, well it also sours the relationship.
A chaos creature with a flaming sword busting out of the pond mosaic as if he thinks the statue is an enemy so he is lunging to attack would be kinda cool.

maybe a warp marker and few spikes with skulls and dead sisters and dead alpha legion around with blood and for graphic wall things add some torn areas that have major scorched look to edges with chaos markings scratches and maybe as a token marker the head of a alpha legion demon on a spike hehe
