@@Warrenstrong8615 Well it being the original gives it an edge, but Bananarama's cover was a huge dance hit and the only version many had heard up to that point.
Love your reactions young man. I'm sure you have come to realize just why those of us who were your age in the 60's, 70's or 80's loved the music we grew up with. It's great to see new generations discovering just how great that music really is.
Shocking Blue had a couple of minor hits, but Venus kind of makes them a one-hit-wonder, and it was pretty much their only song that got attention in America. They're from Netherlands.
They are a Swedish group and it was resin early 1970. I believe it was the first record that was released in 1970 that became #1. Also, you just keep being yourself with your reactions. You’re doing just fine 😊
I don’t know if you only have a certain amount of time to do these reactions, but Please slow your speech down. Yes , this band was a one hit wonder, but they’re still better than half the bands out there now. Slow ur roll young man, you can’t outrun time.
Dude, you just hit the 60's. There was a lot of bands like them back then.
Late 60’s classic! 🌟✌️
Check out the big hit cover of this song "Venus" by the female group Bananarama in the late 1980s.

Venus is pronounced like the planet...
Sorry people, this rock band came from the Netherlands, The Hague to be precise and not from Sweden!
They were very popular here in the Netherlands, unfortunately the singer Mariska died very young
Nice reaction!

I love the Bananarama version, but this one has always had a place in my heart.

No one else has ever sung about a godness.
You should listen to Julie Driscoll & Brian Auger & Trinity and the song ( Wheels on Fire ) 1968
You need to pronounce your words correctly and speak slowly.
Great song. I like the 1980's cover version by British-Irish girl group Bananarama. 🇮🇪 🍀
