I wanted a hitch so I sprung for the classic rear bumper with hitch receiver and no d-ring attachments. You can just use a d-ring attachment in the hitch if needed. For the front i removed the jugs, added the corner caps, raptor lined the whole thing, and added 2 round flood lights. Thing is sweet.
@@TOCraft I did this to my '08 JK X and it looked great. And I know it will look even better on my '05 TJ. My local Line X will do the bumpers, fender flares, step bars and mirrors for $100 and it's guaranteed for life. Just be sure to tell them to add UV. I'm even throwing in my 3 new door handles. You just have to remove all pieces from the jeep though and drop them off.
What hitch do you have on your tj. I’m trying to stay cheap would love to replace with new bumper w/ hitch but thinking it may be cheaper to just get hitch
I picked up a hitch from my local U-Haul dealer and installed it myself. It was the cheapest option for sure, about half the price of a budget bumper without a hitch. I get a bunch of parts from various 4x4 sites, depending on the sale they have, which varies greatly. I recently installed a front bumper on a JK- video coming soon.
COJeepGuy thanks man appreciate just got a 2000 tj and need to haul a small trailer for my kayaks and a cargo holder I got on clearance! What was the price if you don’t mind me asking

What seize drill bit are you using?
It should be a Size 30 torx
Black out the fender flares with shoe polish
spray paint seems better?
