See Inkwell's Note for upcoming changes to the Rewards Shop: www.nexon.com/maplestory/news/general/17244/inkwell-s-note-we-carry-on As of v. 251, 3 pets will be available (limit of 1 of each per month) as well as Pet Snack (limit of 1/month) in the Heroic Rewards Shop. The Premium Water of Life will no longer have a purchase limit going forward.
Double-click it once it expires. That's usually how it works for most pets. Edit: Actually, I think that only works for one-time use pets like the Snail, the event vac pets, etc.
On a reboot server other than the autobuff /pot and the improved movement for picking up stuff; is there a specific reason you'd want 3 pets? I currently just use 1 and just use the life water with maple reward points every 90 days.
Mostly just a QoL aspect. 3 pets provide a more efficient and wider looting range. You won't have to stand in one spot and wait for your pet to loot as much. 3 pets can also pop more buffs for you (if they have Auto Buff). The higher your level, the more decent skills you will be able to equip in your V Matrix (Decent Holy Symbol, D. Sharp Eyes, D. Combat Orders, D. Speed Infusion, D. Advanced Blessing, etc.). On top of generic buffs (Maple Warrior, Epic Adventure, some classes also need to manually use their Booster, etc.), that's a lot of skills to pop every 3-4min. Some of these even lock you in place if manually cast, whereas pets automatically pop them without delay, which is very convenient for bossing (and even training). Only my strongest characters have 3 pets since I run harder bosses on them. It was inconvenient for me to pop decents and my whole burst rotation while simultaenously trying to dodge attacks, not to mention the time wasted locked in place. But I always manually pop buffs on my lower level characters since most of them only have Blackheart anyway, so it all depends on playstyle, class, convenience...!
Everything within a wide range just gets pulled towards you, just like a vacuum. You barely have to move, so it's very useful for training. We haven't gotten one in a while from an event, but I believe they were available for purchase not too long ago.
@@TejashPatel-z2r Thank you! This is still useful for those who don't have that much RP. I definitely make full use of the infinite Water of Life now 🙈. I just keep reviving the event pets I already have on my characters. It's a bummer the RP Chameleon pets don't have Auto Buff though 😕.
@@necromimi omg. For real! I don't think they have auto pot either? Auto buff is a great tool but auto pot is basically essential. Fingers crossed they do something about both

@@necromimi Thank you so much for responding so quickly and giving me this information!! Happy Mapling!
Awesome Pet Guide! Question, what is a Vac pet?

Great guide but shame it went out of date so quickly with RP pets now being available.
