Beautifully explained. I have been searching for short, crisp and impactful demonstration. It was serendipity that brought me to your channel after scores of hits on the web. I have watched three demonstrations so far and am awestruck by the quality of your experimental demonstrations.
thank you so much ...im a masters student and my college has no resources despite paying 50k per semester ...if you have'nt made such a detailed video with such clear microphotographs ...i would have never known all this...than u so so much
Thank you so much, and I impressed on how you add carefully the acetocarmine into the slide. Nice one.. And a question, in what concentration did you use the acetocarmine liquid.? is it effecting the observation.?
My pleasure. I used the stain undiluted as it is straight from the bottle. You can also dilute it a bit. Doesn't matter. However, time of soaking the material in stain should be adjusted accordingly with extent of dilution.
Can you plz make more videos on cytogenetics with basic laboratory techniques. Like on SAT chromosome, measuring of chromosomes, banding,or different procedures for making metaphase slides in case of plant having very small size of chromosomes ( in length). Your videos are really convincing . Thank you
Thanks for the compliment. Really appreciate it ! 😊 I do hope i'll find the time to make more cytogenetics videos in the near future. Will also try to incorporate ur video requests as well. Meanwhile, pliz do check out my other Cytogenetics videos like, Mitosis in Onion root tip video and also my video on Polytene chromosome slide preparation from chironomid larvae. Enjoy 👍🏾
Silly question perhaps: In the video, what is the solution in the beaker that the 4-5 immature flowers get dropped into? I assume distilled water and the purpose to is wash? Thank you.
Hi. Sorry i dont quite understand what u meant by that 🤔 Microphotographs of all the stages of Meiosis 1&2 are arranged in sequence towards the end of the video, if u meant that.
You dont have to use only allium. But everybody seems to be using allium sp mainly because they are easy to grow, easy to manipulate the flowers and roots, shows very clear divisional stages, and is included as the main experimental plant in textbooks and syllabi across the world.
Ughhh! I am a student btw thank you so much for this. I have been searching too much for the meiosis phase and here it goes... Thank youuuuu!!!!

These are some of the clearest and neatest slides I've ever seen.. kudos to you for making the topic so easy and understandable.. thank you❤
thank u sir cause of u i pass every practical
Very well illustration n practical images of meiosis stages we generally found in laboratory through this classic method
Great work! Go ahead brother.
In this experimental video is very helpful of my practical... thankyou so much Sir
How i wish you were my lab teacher!😭
Me tooo
Yeah. Me too.
Same .
Informative and understanding 👍
This video is very informative thank you very much 🙂it definitely deserves many more likes and views👍

How long do i need to do squashing
Wow! This was beautiful and helped me a lot!
Sir is this squashing technique or smearing
Excellent slides.
Great work ✌👍
I have question...after placing the acetocarmine on the slide does it important to heat slide?
The slides are so clear! this is gonna help me zo much for my exams. Thank you😭
Thank you sir ❤❤❤❤... clearest and beautiful explained❤❤❤
That was so helpful..Thanks ✌🏻
Tungtungungutung sir jiii thanks

@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy thanx 🥰
amazing!!
Thank you so much ❤
Very helpful. Very neat and professional. Btw where do you teach?
Thanks ! Just concluded our terminal semester Masters in Science (Msc) Exam. Student.
thank you for good video
Very very thank you 🙏
Thank you sir
Very informative sir
Thankyou sir, it is very helpful.
From Jordan thank you 😊😊

Fantastic . . . .
Clearly stated ❤
How molecular genetics applied in Weeds?
It will be better if u have recorded the different phase of meiosis one instead of only showing the slide 🙂

Way to go brother
Thanks it was my absence for that lab and sure it's work at the examination
Wishing u all the best dear. 🤓

@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy Thank you so muchhh, you saved my life.
Thankyou very much❤
Beautiful.
thank you soo much
I'll surely try this method. Hope it works for me too
Best ❤
