Some "pro tips" I've learned over the years: Turbo Yeast was designed for making ethanol fuel FAST (i.e. stressed out yeast). It's not very good at making palatable spirits. You can clean the packing in place with a vinegar run. But foreshots & early heads (which you toss anyway) do that also. You can get "neutral-ish" in 1x distillation, but doing several stripping runs & then a spirit run will make it better. And since you're making beer already, do a sugarhead on the spent grains (~8 lbs/5 gal water). Makes a fine whiskey! Especially if you invert the sugar. I have a Franziskaner whiskey that is getting pretty phenomenol after only 6 months on oak.
cant wait to watch your vids of using it. Im a brewer myself and have been looking at getting this. At this stage i dont want a big setup to run with my brewzilla. Just hoping to make a bottle every now and then so this would be perfect
How would you double distil? I've done a first run from the wash. I have diluted it to 40% ABV. I've filtered it. But now I'd like to re distil it. I'm new to this. It's my first time. I can't find any instructions online that I understand. TIA Tony
It's pretty simple. Just take the contents of your stripping runs and put them back in the still. As long as it's around 40% ABV you're good to go. At this point you will recall concentrate and wind up with a much higher ABV product. 🍻
This background music, I feel like you are about to drop the still and go for a run. Consider not using background music, it makes the vid annoying af.
LOVE IT!! Can't wait to see your journey with the AirStill Pro, we love it - for distilling water obviously! Thanks for the mention!! 😉
It's my pleasure and thank you very very much 🍻🍻🍻

Thank you very much I really appreciate it 🍻🍻
Thanks for the review. You got a new sub
Thank you very much. I've got more distillation content on the horizon
I use the regular AirStill for making water for my CPAP. Works great!
I'd chucked that up to one of its mini uses 🍻

Hopefully I'll have the first of those videos out in the next week or two 🍻🍻
Would love to see you do a sugar wash. I’m hoping to buy my Air Pro next month

Repent! 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the video! Some minor feedback: the music is a bit loud it kinda drowns out your voiceover.
I would agree. I got that audio level a little high 🍻
What’s the little bag of teeth for?
Lol those are ceramic boil enhancers

Dude, I'm tryin' to listen to you talk and there's all this industrial noise pollution crashing all the time.

Sorry 😐
Erg, the background music is so overpowering. Drop the music mate, just do you
The problem has been corrected 🍻
That loud music. Sorry. I can't hear you speak.
