Owned this on Genesis as a kid, had a toy of Vertigo that could suck in water then shoot it out and had a bigger hard plastic toy of Sauron. This deserves a remaster big time.
Hi all! While I would describe myself merely as a casual fan of fighting games, I really enjoyed the handful of fighting games I've played on the SNES. This game was just plain old fun. I can imagine having a blast as a kid playing this beating up my friends as my favorite dinosaurs. It's short and sweet, and if you are at all interested in deep cut retro fighting games then I would recommend this one! I would say the main thing that sets this game apart from others in the genre at this time is just that fact that you play as a DINOSAUR! There is something so goofy and fun about that, it just awakens the child in you as you play. Sure, it's been long forgotten due to the Mortal Kombats and the Tekkens of the gaming world, but it's worth stopping by and enjoying the carnage if you are so inclined. With all that said, it's incredibly short and could really use more content. Beating the main game mode doesn't take all that long, or even all that much skill even if played when it was released. And apart from fighting against your friends, I'm not sure what else there is to do after beating it for the first time. Though, I feel there is potential for a fighting game in this setting!
Honestly, I think that it could be really fun as a reboot! There's a lot of games out there today so it's hard to say if it'd be successful. But I think other than Ark, I can't really think of another Dinosaur game in today's climate, maybe someone will fix that!
The ports of this game are really interesting especially compared to more contemporary fighting game ports of the time it feels like each version has something interesting about it but that is most likely just me

I remember this game getting okay reviews for snes. I rented it a lot through, it was fun
