Can either of these collars restrict areas separate from land boundaries, example, around a chicken coop and around a pool to keep the pet away from trouble areas, not just one, but 2 or more? Can any collar (invisible fence, etc) that is less expensive do the same? I have a very stubborn brittany and I’m having a real issue with keeping her away from digging under my small shed for critters.

Price point is huge but I need simplicity. I need 3 of them. There's almost 1000 acres out here and my 3 wild child's love to explore

I currently have an Invisible Fence. I asked Spot On this question but never heard a word back. Maybe you can answer this for me. As I said, I have an Invisible Fence AND a dog that is a real hard head. The regular collar doesn't work, he runs right through it. The collar I have for him takes a 9 volt battery. NOW he stays out of the pond:-)
Spot On says they have adjustable correction. Do you know OR could you ask them to answer the question. Will THEIR collar keep my hard headed guy safe with a correction level equal to 9 volts?
    Thanks

I can tell you the SpotOn would be a much better fit and has a much larger span of adjustment/feedback. While more expensive it will better fit your needs especially for a dog that needs very clear
      communication.

my sister has the halo collar and says the "static correction" does not even deter her dog from leaving the boundary.. can you tell us how the spot on relates to that.. it has more levels... but are the levels higher?

Yes, the spot on has a much wider range of static feedback, and I recommend it for a very stubborn dog who doesn’t want to respect the boundaries that are set. I also would focus on the high value reward for coming to “home base” (you) every-time they hear the first warning.
